this guy is crazy…rlly??? i mean think wt ever u want to think….i could care less of ur thoughts, and comments..but let me tell u that u should lern a little more from Mexicans..they have respect for people, they ACTUALLY care about others, they give chances they are NOT fake…they help each other….i might have been born here, but i consider myself 100% Mexican.
you should lern to give respect if you want respect, and you should have more consideration of what immigrants go threw, they don’t have it easy, they live evreyday scared of being seperated from there family, they work harder evreyday so there family wont miss a meal, to give there children a better education, they get the hardest jobs and sometimes have to have 2 jobs just to survive. next time you do soemtithing…take a look at the things happening whos the one cleaning you lawn? working at a fast food restarurant? whos the one as a janitors? whos the one workign at the stores?? whos the one with the hardest jobs, there having to accept the jobs that U.S citizens dont want..do they have another choice? NO. if you think ur life is though imagine wt they go threw every day….i just want you to imagine…
if you have a son or a daoughter….imagine if you where sepertaed from them just becouse you where trying to make a living in a diffrent place and you did no harm to anybody….
i mean if you have a heart i know that taking your child away from you wouldl be the most painfull thing that would ever happen to you…
just becouse the flu was first diagnosent in mexico dosent mean its from mexico, get ur facts stright and lern a little more, you should actually go to mexico and see the differenses“` have some respect. viva mexico!!!

Please, tell me. What difference would it make if these sick animals were bought dead?

Scientifically, the flu virus is going to be either dead or incapable of transmission after the body ceases to function.

Economically, pretty much no one buys animals to eat if they don’t know how they died and have reason to think the death was not by normal means. Would you?

Culturally, people feel more comfortable acquiring, preparing, and eating foods in the manner in which they have been raised.

Practically, in traditional societies using traditional technologies, securing your food animals alive is the most effective way of ensuring that it is fit to eat, undiseased, undamaged, and not rotten or infested/infected by vermin.

My guess, in the next few days the media will get tired of this non-story and will latch on to something else. Gotta put the fear into the public. Yawn. Different stories, some old scare tactics. “A large percentage of the military population is sexually active young adults,” said Bill Calvert, chairman of the DoD’s STD Prevention Committee. “With 333 million new cases of STDs globally and 15.3 million new cases in the United States each year, our service members are certainly at risk for exposure to STDs.”

Calvert said younger adults are at higher risk of being exposed to STDs, placing the military population at higher risk than the general public — two to five times higher, according to the Navy Environmental Center, Norfolk, Va., in its recent paper on condom availability in the Navy and Marine Corps. “In time of military conflict the difference can be 50 times higher or more,” the report said.

“Service members need to be reminded there are risks here at home as well,” he said. “I think we scare the daylights out of our service members in foreign ports and countries, but they think they’re safe at home. Yet the U.S. has the highest rates of STDs among developed countries.” Public health officials have estimated STD infection rates in the United States to be up to 100 times higher than in other industrialized nations.

Personally, I am offended that the radio station would allow conservative talkers to slam all things liberal and Democratic calling people Nazis, Socialists, Communists, Terrorist, on & on, but then suddenly decide that saying bad things about Mexicans is over the line!

Why was not calling all of us terrible names over the line, too?

It may be time for talk radio to stop the haters and draw new lines. Your ad revenue is certainly shrinking anyway, so why sell your soul for a buck?
