Gen. C. Powell (Ret.) served President Regan (a TRUE Conservative Republican) but never proclaimed his political membership; he did however support B. Hussein Obama, and the point that Mr. Limbaugh made during the campaign was that it must have been because he also was not white.

I find it interesting that so many of you purport to know what Rush has said, but I doubt very seriously that many of you, if any of you have ever listened to his program for any length of time.

Regurgitating the sound bites from the ultra- liberal press is akin to reading “Cliff Notes” and then acting as if you saw the movie, or read the book.

As to the 21%ers, I doubt that this is a real percentage. It is probably much lower. However, the number that can’t be verified by polling data is the number of Conservative Americans, who were once Democrats or Republicans.

The former Dems are now full blown socialists, and the Reps are now the “New Democrat Lite”. Either way the majority is fed-up with the entitlement system, government meddling in private business and spending the working people’s money with no regard to how it will cost us in the very near future.

Just remember that in order for the government to give someone something, it has to take it from someone else.

As for Mr. Limbaugh and Mr. Powel, who the hell really cares?

of course americans still blame you and politicans and bankers and wall street and just about everything but the system.

but there is always hope americans will some day wake up to the reality of free for all capitalism as and economic model that creates haves and have nots. ie mostly have nots.

You are certainly free to hold your opinions, as I do. I just think it’s impossible to get a good feel of someone’s thoughts on a broad range of topics in a short amount of time.

Nevertheless, I don’t understand the bashing of Rush Limbaugh on here. What’s to fear? He has no power beyond voicing his opinions over a radio signal.

Your side is in charge and can do whatever it wants, despite conservative opposition. Why so much anger towards that opposition? Is the hope actually hype, but you’re afraid to admit it?

Either way, remember- dissent is patriotic. Hillary said so.
