What I said was that it’s reasonable to extend that sentiment thusly: if the economy recovers, Obama will get the credit. He will succeed.

The fact is, Obama is the President and this nation faces a crisis. His policies are the ones that will be employed to solve the crisis. Therefore, if Obama fails, if his policies fail, the nation will fail because there is no other option.

I never claimed Limbaugh SAID he hopes America fails. But his selfish partisan (and childish) stance on the President’s efforts makes clear that he is willing to see America fail if it means his ideology gets a boost.
