In March, Vice President Cheney famously claimed that the country is less safe under President Obama and has since become the right’s fiercest critic of the Obama administration. Today, while campaigning for Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe, President Clinton “laughed off” Cheney’s attacks:
“I wish him well,” Clinton told CNN while greeting voters after a campaign stop with Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe. “It’s over,” he added, apparently a reference to the Bush administration. “But I do hope he gets some more target practice before he goes out again,” Clinton said with a grin before moving along the ropeline.
Watch it:
That’s the way to get Cheney’s blood pressure up — mock him.
Well played, Bill.
May 13th, 2009 at 7:08 pmBig Dog knows how to deal with folks like Deadeye Dick: laugh at him.
And Big Dog can make it stick.
May 13th, 2009 at 7:14 pmI wonder if I can get a homosexual date at the Privacy Center…
May 13th, 2009 at 7:17 pmWell db, there’s a possibility of privacy…
May 13th, 2009 at 7:20 pmWell that Borgen guy is sort of handsome even if he is a poser…
May 13th, 2009 at 7:22 pmAnd he obviously has nothing else to do…
May 13th, 2009 at 7:23 pmI still love Bill. Always have, always will. Charisma, charm and great with the one liners. I hate to think what I would have done as a White House intern…
PEACE
May 13th, 2009 at 7:25 pmThey do catch crabs though in Dutch Harbor…
May 13th, 2009 at 7:25 pmIs Bill saying Cheney’s days of freedom are over because he has inside info supporting this fact? If so, then I’d like to be the first one to take one for the team and give Bill a ‘thank you BJ’. LOL
May 13th, 2009 at 7:30 pmThanks for taking that one for the team, Kay. :-D
May 13th, 2009 at 7:31 pmBill Clinton is right. Cheney should be ridiculed. Every day, all the time. He has become completely ridiculous.
If I ever had any respect for Dick Cheney, I certainly wouldn’t now. But I never did have any respect for him. He’s a liar, and not about little, insignificant things. And he’s a war criminal.
Can we impeach Cheney anyway and take away his government pensions?
May 13th, 2009 at 7:32 pmOff topic:
Love it! Chris Matthews just showed two women (Code Pink? Could be. One looked familiar) screaming at Donald Rumsfeld IN PUBLIC, “War criminal! This man is a war criminal! War criminal coming through!”.
May 13th, 2009 at 7:32 pmYou’re welcome. It’s the least I could do. ;-D
May 13th, 2009 at 7:33 pmI heard that on the teevee machine, Kay, but couldn’t get to it fast enough. I hope Keith has it on Countdown.

I’d rather take away his birthday.
May 13th, 2009 at 7:34 pmI’m sure Keith and Rachel will both have the video footage playing, Zooey! Can’t wait to see it again.
May 13th, 2009 at 7:37 pmThe victim troll has arrived. *yawn*
May 13th, 2009 at 7:38 pm*pulling Captain Caveman troll club out of my back pocket*
May 13th, 2009 at 7:38 pmKay, is that the newest model for troll whacking? I’m SO jealous…
May 13th, 2009 at 7:39 pmZooey, oh I’ve used it for years online. Works well. I only bring it out now just for fun….you know…the fun of cracking neocon skulls together or with my Captain Caveman club. LOL I’m really not picky. ;-)
May 13th, 2009 at 7:43 pmI’d rather take away his birthday
May 13th, 2009 at 7:43 pm–
Should I then wish him a “very happy unbirthday” or a “merry happy unbirthday” or should I ask O’Reilly?
*smacking troll with Captain Caveman club* False alarm! It was a gnat. Nevermind. Go back to what you were doing.
May 13th, 2009 at 7:44 pmI think you should ask O’Reilly, db. I’m sure he’ll read as much into the comment as the crybaby troll did.
May 13th, 2009 at 7:45 pmWow, Kay! You knocked that gnat back to the stone age!
May 13th, 2009 at 7:47 pmI really should back to the books. Have fun, y’all!
May 13th, 2009 at 7:48 pm‘It’s over.’
are you sure he didn’t mean ‘the ruse’? the jig is up?
it’s over, man… you’re goose is so cooked.
May 13th, 2009 at 7:54 pmyea – what kay @11 says…
May 13th, 2009 at 7:56 pmI watched this twice! Too freaking hilarious! Clinton basically told Darth Cheney where to go! ROTFL! Cheney is the new drama queen of the Rethuglican Party.
May 13th, 2009 at 7:56 pmKayInMaine – thanks for taking one for the team! LOLOLOL!
Hey katy, I hope that’s what he meant! That would be just lovely and delicious!
May 13th, 2009 at 7:57 pmThanks Mr. Great Economy, now you’ve just put Dead Eye Dick back on TV to stammer and yammer for several more days!
May 13th, 2009 at 8:01 pmCol. Wilkerson, Powell’s assistant Sec. of State did not like Cheney’s recent remarks. He came out swinging on Rachel Maddow’s show last nite.
Among the points he made…
…Cheney Always talks about keeping America SAFE for 7 1/2 Years…even though Bush was President for 8 Years.
This is because Bush was in Charge during the Worst Terrorist Attack on American Soil in History.
….He compared Powell’s TWO tours of Duty in Viet Nam to Cheney’s Five Deferments.
May 13th, 2009 at 8:05 pmAnd… Cheney Was WRONG about virtually every Statement he made on TV in the leadup to the Iraq War.
Wilkerson contends that this makes Cheney Not Believable, in his current Assertions.
May 13th, 2009 at 8:08 pmBill Clinton Takes ‘Aim’ at Cheney’s Criticisms of Obama’s Foreign …
FOXNews – ?1 hour ago?
At a campaign event for Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe, former President Bill Clinton said he believes the country’s foreign policy is better off in the hands of the Obama administration.
ya mean there’s more?
no way could i click on that link..
May 13th, 2009 at 8:11 pmYou guys are welcome on me giving Clinton a ‘thank you BJ’! LOL It’s not problem, really. ;-)
May 13th, 2009 at 8:17 pmIm betting the shrieks will be more offended over this than Sykes

May 13th, 2009 at 8:19 pm[Im my best Tattoo voice]
You know if we got Cheney hooked on meth then dyed his skin green he could make a fortune playing the Grinch
May 13th, 2009 at 8:22 pmOS Says:
Outrageously Stupid?
May 13th, 2009 at 8:24 pmNo he’s much too “Grinchy”. It would be overkill.
Archive that happily drooling.
May 13th, 2009 at 8:27 pmPut Bill Clinton in the mix and the Republicans look ridiculous. Add a little humor and Republicans look like buffoons. The Republicans appear to be loosing their grip on reality.
May 13th, 2009 at 8:34 pmanyone notice the crowd following Brother Bill yet Cheney and Bush aren’t campaigning for any Republcian candidates. Eric Britney Cantor is looking to trick people out of their money while denying them any Stimulus money. Cheney is a coward as he has his daugther to fight his lies. Cheney made it publicly knewn with pride that he signed the Torture order and worked closely with some of the Axis of Evil Dictaors as he rented jail space in such countries as Libya with Dictator Gaddafi and had the CIA torture prisoner. We will soon learn of the Cheney Assassination Squad and then it will clear up those unsoved murders done all over the World. One that stands out is David Kelly who was murdered just before he about to testify Blair sexed up and cherry picked false information. Cheney had the man who lied to save his life about Iraq having WMD’s murdered.
May 13th, 2009 at 8:37 pmJackie Says: It does make me wonder…
Bush is too busy trying to raise money for his LIEberry. Cheney is too busy defending his actions on torture. I can’t wait to hear what Cheney will say now. Damn near everything he’s said was a LIE. They both continue to help the GOP get dragged down into oblivion. LOL
May 13th, 2009 at 8:52 pmAnd he murdered:
Benazir Bhutto about a month after she divulged the name of the individuals who KILLED Osama bin Laden
Michael Connell (plane crash) right before he was to testify on how he helped the Bush Cabal steal the 2004 presidential election
Bruce Ivins who “committed suicide” right before he was to testify on what he knew about the anthrax attacks. He most likely was going to divulge it was Cheney who gave the order to someone at Fort Detrick to send out the anthrax, which is where the anthrax originated from.
And the list goes on and on!
May 13th, 2009 at 8:53 pmKayInMaine Says:
Yeah, too many unanswered questions – and the big one – who planned and executed 9/11? Our country has lots of investigations to attend to.
May 13th, 2009 at 9:09 pmCheney’s Duracell must be on its last gasp, cheer up.. he will soon be moving to an undisclosed location for a recharge and a download from the Borg mothership.
May 13th, 2009 at 9:11 pmI always get called a moonbat for saying this, but, I really believe Cheney is behind the 9/11 attacks. They needed a reason to invade Iraq. I don’t understand why the CIA has not found Osama Bin Laden after 7 years. No one knows if he’s dead or alive. I think it will be devasting to Americans to find out something like that – but – the hijackers had someone helping from inside the US.
May 13th, 2009 at 9:16 pmAnd I agree with you hbc. When something is so thoroughly swept under the rug – and asking questions and demanding answers becomes treasonous – well, something stinks. Secrecy should always cause suspicion.
May 13th, 2009 at 9:19 pmI completely believe Dick Cheney was behind the 9/11 attack. If he wasn’t, then he made sure that morning that the attack happened uninterrupted, which is what he did. He’s an insane lunatic and never should have gotten that close to the White House after having been in government for over 3 decades with an employment that has been less than stellar!
He’s evil. Pure and simple. He did say recently that the next attack on our nation will be NUCLEAR, so I’m sure he’s in contact with his Brownshirts at the Pentagon to make sure it happens!
May 13th, 2009 at 9:19 pmThe Dick will get his someday, somehow. That may mean that he will die a lonely and hated man, or he will escape justice and live a happy life – but one thing for sure, his name will be linked to torture and treason in the history books. We may not get to see the justice we demand.
May 13th, 2009 at 9:26 pmthis just in… buschCo is alive and well, and plotting against us.. ..cheney on the war path.. that is all.
May 13th, 2009 at 9:27 pmDr. Hussein Matt Says:
Reich-wing hissy fits in 5…4….3…..2…..1…..They’re too busy praising the efforts of criminals like themselves. Currently, they are drooling over the efforts of a nutjob like themselves who kidnapped a 4 year old girl.

May 14th, 2009 at 1:21 amThe whole world loves Clinton and Obama.
The whole world hates Bush, Cheney, and Republicans.
May 14th, 2009 at 5:00 amThe saddest thing is that Dick Cheney is such a scared, paranoid little man. To justify that fear he has to make everyone else just as afraid. It worked once but he has yet to realize that it just isn’t working anymore.
I really wonder what that man is overcompensating for. I mean really, not to make the obvious sexual joke but he’s got to be making up for something. No one who bases their life on making others so afraid and having to torture people like the “big, bad” man he is just does it for no reason.
Either way I hope he crawls back under that rock he came from along with that equally pathetic kid of his. Good laugh Mr. Clinton :)
May 14th, 2009 at 5:19 amCheney is a big drag queen. Good thing he hid during the viet Nam War. He would have shot many good and brave U.S. soldiers as he quivered in his boots and fired his gun recklessly.
May 14th, 2009 at 8:24 amI have said it once and I will say it again. The president needs to put Cheney under constant observation. I really think he is working to create a major attack in the country.
May 14th, 2009 at 8:34 amComing out of his rat hole at this point in time is all a part of his strategy.
Bill gives Dickhead a “wish you well”. Shut up bill. Are you getting paid for your blow?
May 14th, 2009 at 9:51 amIf so, then I’d like to be the first one to take one for the team and give Bill a ‘thank you BJ’. LOL
This is why I’m a progressive….we’ll do what ever it takes (within the law..lol) to move the country forward for the benifit of everyone!!!!!
May 14th, 2009 at 10:20 amDon’t forget they’ve never ‘located’ that missing nuke that was ‘misplaced’ during that B-52 flight.
May 14th, 2009 at 10:40 amAnd for all the conspiracy buffs, the pilots and a great many of those involved in the flight from Minot AFB to Barksdale in Louisiana met with ‘accidents’.
Do I also recall detonators being mistakenly shipped to Taiwan with helicopter parts? Can’t remember the details and too lazy to look that up.

guzide, YOU are a blog whore. Get the Fluck out of HERE!
May 14th, 2009 at 12:43 pmYou know, I have to tell my children all the time to just ignore stupid people. If you aknowledge their actions, they just keep going…..kind of like Cheney.
On a side note, Bin Laden is already dead, and has been for a while. However, if that gets released to the public domain, it makes him a martyr. By saying he is still alive, but hiding in a cave, it helps to marginalize him, to a certain point.
As far a 9/11 being some sort of government plot to give us a reason to attack Iraq…..that is some very creative thinking. I had thought of the idea of crashing planes into buildings when I was about 14 years old (I was a strange child), and you could keep a plane in the air and hit a large building with it after a couple hours on a decent flight simulator game. They were able to hijack the plane with a box cutter, so I see no reason they would have had to have had ‘inside’ help.
