If anyone is “Dim” it’s you, Dum Bass. It’s the *REPUKES* that don’t believe in “EQUAL” rights for gay people. Even (D) politicians that resist gay rights on the “Religious” aspect almost universally call for “EQUAL” rights for Gay couples. What most people forget is that there are *NO* religious marriages currently. If your “Church” marries you and you don’t have a marriage license, you aren’t married. If the “State” marries you and you do have a marriage license but don’t have a religious person marry you, you’re still married. Therefore the Church “Ceremonies” are MEANINGLESS in terms of “Marriage”. They’re just QUAINT little SUPERSTITION that those of “WEAK” minds like *YOU* believe are the REAL THING despite the “REALITY” proving otherwise… ;)

RHF, (MizzJ, rhf has always been a nutcase. He’s just always been on our side, so he was tolerable. Now he’s a Clinton ass sucker, and he can’t contain himself against the “hopium” smokers. What an idiot.) How’s it going, bud? You failed to mention those who have marriage licenses and are married in churches by clergymen. They are married. See, bud, you don’t have to be married by the state in order to be married. Unless, of course, you consider clergymen to be agents of the state since they are authorized to perform marriages. That probably kind of annoys you. ;)

Those people who want to be married must all put the marriage up for a vote. Let “the people” decide if you should be wed, since “the people” will pay for so much for the wed couple.

And, tangent to that, if you want a divorce, you must also put that up for a vote to the public, as your divorce may not benefit society financially.

I am SOOOO late to this thread… I am sure I will repeat this idea somewhere, sometime soon. I kind of like it, though it seems to be a bit of a “diamond in the rough” right now.

But most, sadly, really are trolls. Even backup, who tries his damnedest to appear rational, is a troll. His is a more sophisticated game than, say, Proud’s or Tim Vacuous or stormy’s. But at the end of the day he’s still trolling.

What the republicans are not wanting to change is the law in respect to a marriage license because it says man and woman.

Its a roundabout way of hiding their bias against gay people.

This one, however, is more than just immature, ignorant, socially maladroit, and abrasive—it’s a kid pushing buttons. For some odd reason, it chooses to push buttons at TP. I think it thought it could really convince people here that it was a doctor—a heart surgeon even—and win accolades. That didn’t work, so it tried to impress us with it’s stories about tripping on cough syrup. That had “mom won’t let me out of the house” written all over it.

As a psychologist I think you might be right on in this diagnosis lol. People who suffer Asperger’s Syndrome have no concept of what is appropriate in social situations. They are unable to understand proper social interaction. I think that sums up our lot of bigoted trolls nicely :)
