Update: Berman told the Advocate that he expects the White House to make announcements on LGBT policies sometime in June. "I think the White House is preparing to make an announcement on a number of issues..."

I hope DADT is on that list.

stormn00007 Says:

The left is always attacking the judgment of those that do not agree with them.

When it's bad judgment, you're damn right I'm going to attack that judgment. Unlike the right, I attack the opinion, not the one making it.

They believe wisdom is only granted to them.

Nope, never said that. But the right wing does demonstrate its lack of judgment all the time.

My preference as a taxpayer is that no new policies should be made available to the Gay Community.

My preference as a taxpayer is that no money is ever spent on no-bid, cost-plus contracts. The right wing loves these things, because somehow they think it saves us money. I sure would like to know how.

Obama is going against the American people if he believes he has a mandate to do so.

Well, he made no secret of his opposition to DADT, and he won by an overwhelming majority. So I'd say he does have a mandate.

The protest have not started because Obama has not yet started his push to make the change he espouses.

You mean the whole anti-Obama tea parties were not protests?

We are waiting the American people to rebuke him and every time he make one of these stupid mistakes it is another nail in his political coffin.

That is an uninformed viewpoint.

But I don’t understand how she couldn’t see that this was also an issue of discrimination.

Rice may have felt discriminated against as a youngster, but apparently as an adult and due to some [?] intelligence, managed to get her PhD with the result of that making 'discrimination' feel like a bad childhood memory; nothing to disturb the adult girl especially now that she was a political celebrity.

She didn’t act as the leader that the State Department needed for its workforce.

She didn't have time [nor skills] to be a 'leader' as she was waaaay too busy spreading W's cheeks so she could stay up his a@@ and that made it impossible for her to feel connected to the State Dept or any of it's people. All her energy was depleted with constant sucking up.

That's odd, a regulatory change makes things OK for state department employees, but Congressional action is needed for DADT?

More of the Congress-White House kabuki dance.
