Liz Cheney considering run for public office?

The Washington Monthly’s Steve Benen has been keeping a close watch on Liz Cheney, noting that the ubiquitous daughter of the former vice president “practically lives on cable news” these days. “She also lies routinely, accuses the president of helping terrorists, and is so mindless in her attacks on the nation’s elected leadership, she’s something of a national embarrassment,” Benen writes. And according to close friends of hers, she may be the next Cheney to run for office:

“She’s awesome. Everyone wants her to run,” said a close friend. [...]

“She’s a chip off the block!” said a longtime friend. [...]

“It’s a two-fer. She comes off a bit better than he does sometimes,” a conservative consultant said.

Asked about the possibility that Liz Cheney might make a run for office, Republican operative Karl Rove responded, “She might!” Watch it:

Well, sure. The name “Cheney” is political gold right now. Might as well leverage that incredible popularity while it’s still polling so high.

I hope she does run. In this political climate, she’ll get the microscope treatment, and her father’s blatant nepotism will come back to bite her on the ass. What exactly were her qualifications for the post she was appointed to? Her opponent will have an easy time painting her as an extremist torture apologist. Whatever she thinks on other issues will be judged by her ability to defend herself, from charges of being too partisan for elective office, with her defense of torture, and her father’s regime.

  20. mardod says:

This seems unlikely for 2012. The Cheney name would only be popular with the 20% of so dead-enders who still support Bush and I doubt even that would be enough to get her out of the primary. There’s also the question of whether she even wants to run now. I read elsewhere that much of her recent appearances were to raise her father’s profile in a effort to secure a better book deal for him, rather than raise her own profile for elected office.

Either the lady is just plagarizing things her daddy told her or shes seen documents which she almost certainly didnt have the clearance to see. Great idea! She uniquely combines the Darth Vader qualities of her father with the shrew-like character of her mother.

  46. flavorino says:

More B.S. from the family of lying propagandists who have a history of having false stories “leaked” out to the press.

And for anyone – ANYONE – to infer Liz Cheney’s credentials are even in the same league as President Obama’s has got to be the all time high water mark for foolishness and outlandish remarks.

BTW: Anyone else find it strange that the GOP cannot find an elected member of the GOP to go on these shows much anymore?

The other theory I have heard is that the Cheneys are angling for their own reality TV show. It would undoubtedly be filmed in “an undisclosed location”. The plot lines are endless for such a show — “Quail-hunting with Dick”, “Cocktail Hour with Dick and Lynn”, etc.

However, few in my old party are willing to face up to just how miserable of a job they did so I expect Republicans to be out of vogue for years to come. 78. ElBruce says:

The fact is, this all just specious third-person fantasizing to fill time a 24-hour “news” channel that currently has no “news” to report (Dems doing well = FAUX has nothing to put on the air). Liz Cheney isn’t going to run for anything for the same reason that none of the rest of the unelected “leading voices of the Republican party” aren’t going to run for anything. She’d lose any actual election for anything, just about anywhere. And she can’t afford to risk actually losing anything, at least not when compared to being able to run her “daddy was really great” campaign from any news/talk show willing to have her on. She gets just as much of a platform for her “opinions” without ever actually having to have them tested by referendum.

  79. barfly says:

It’d be high comedy if, after so vociferously defending her dad and his policies, and while running for elective office, her dad was indicted for war crimes, by Garzon, the Spanish judge. Then we’d be treated to the sight of her lamely trying to distance herself from her father’s past decisions and acts. She’s never been under that kind of pressure, being the nepotistic appointment to a mid-level government job. Would she yet again suit up for battle, or weasel out on ol’ dad?

Florda GOP’s all-white ticket for 2010 may be liability

At a time when the Florida electorate is growing increasingly diverse, the Republican party is gearing up to field an all-male, all-white slate in 2010.

In contrast, the Democratic front-runners for the top of the ticket are U.S. Rep. Kendrick Meek, a 42-year-old African American running for the U.S. Senate, and Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink for governor, who would be the state’s first female chief executive. A handful of Hispanic and Jewish Democrats are potentially in the mix for attorney general and chief financial officer.

“It’s something I see as an advantage for Florida voters, that the Democratic ticket could end up looking like it represents Florida’s population,” said Ana Cruz, a top Meek advisor.

  112. Intrepid says:

    OS Says:

Only America hating traitorous cowards like yourself condone torture. REAL AMERICANS DON’T! FACT!

A strong woman to you is one who supports the torturing of people, who hates peace, who lies at the drop of a hat, who deceits at the drop of her skirt, and who supports the American Taliban in their quest of Christian jihad on America/Americans to prove that she loves our country and wants it to fail under Obama?

  114. Game of Life says:

    OS Says:

Or is she supposed to get her father’s powers no matter which office she holds?

    You mean like the kennedy’s?

Yeah, but the opposite of the Kennedy family hugh LEGACY, buckshot and his family are more on the darkside, killing machines, ruin the USA, screw the poor, love being idiots side.

People still love the Kennedys. Still now! Not the laughable, silly, phoney remark that chimpy made; in 50 yrs they will love me, junk. FUN-NEE.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

buckshot’s klan won’t get a clipped Kennedys’ toenail worth of that UNITED STATES love.

  126. mudsharks buddy says:

    Hey, I’m not kiddin.
There setting the stage for her right now.
They’ll build on the Palin thing by backing Liz Cheeeeney.
Then they’ll combine the two. And It’ll be a Palin/ Cheeeney ticket. Provided Cheeeney goes along with being VP.
Now, that’s the caveat. Will she be willing to take the back seat. I think she will. Then she’ll make a move on the front seat.
Who knows? Maybe they’ll be able to set the whole world on fire. You know. Finish her dads work.

  127. Wiz says:

So Liz Cheney’s motivation for appearing on all these talk shows was not to defend her father but to advance her own career? Looks like hypocrisy runs in the family, she has proved herself worthy to be real Republican candidate. While the love of a daughter for her father is thing of beauty, hypocrisy is worth millions in campaign contributions.

  128. Wayne Ant Schneider says:

    Chocolate Jesus Says:

    > She has a great resume
    > and history
    > of public service.

Yeah, she has a great history of spouting daddys taking points the day after he does, to try and but the same b@llsh@t in a better looking bag. Either the lady is just plagarizing things her daddy told her or shes seen documents which she almost certainly didnt have the clearance to see. I’m not aware of any rank she held in the Cheney adminsitration that would allow her legitimate access to the classified documents regarding the torture programs she’s making all these assertions about..

That is an excellent point, and one I wish the Justice Dept would investigate. It;s not enough to have a security clearance high enough to see classified information. You also have to have a need to know. Simple curiosity or being the child of the vice president does not qualify as “a need to know.” I want this one investigated. If she access to classified material, it was quite likely illegal. And if she didn’t have that access, then she is making shit up.

  129. hormiga brava chavez says:

Another thing OS & Proud, we don’t have to hate. The GOP is about to tear itself to pieces on their own. Have you seen CNN today? Cheney and Limbaugh are trying to kick Powell out of the GOP and people favor Powell over Cheney and Limbaugh put together. Darth’s ratings aren’t getting any better.

  130. mudsharks buddy says:

    OS Says:

  131. Bozo The Neoclown says:

    OS Says:
“24,639 days since a democrat president allowed the japanese to bomb pearl harbor….”

Just a couple of more topics you know nothing about. Obviously we don’t love terrorists. And people who support torturing people to get false intel that supports their war crimes are terrorist doing more damage to this country than any middle eastern group could ever do.

We are working our way back to find out all the ways you people have manipulated the destruction of this country. We’re going back to the JFK assassination to find out why GHW Bush was there and then we’re going to work our way through Watergate, Iran Contra, 9/11, Nixon, Ford, Reagan deregulation, etc. etc. etc. and when it’s all over we’re going to need a new second party.

  134. Jane E. Schneider says:

Thanks, Kay! :D How’s the weather in Maine today?

We have stronger women here at TP than freakin’ Liz Cheney or Sarah Palin combined!

  135. Bozo The Neoclown says:

  138. dbadass says:

Ask yourself how many more vets will die under obamas watch, ok?

Will I need to find the square root of that or maybe the cosine or some usch shit? Or is this an imaginary number?

  139. Intrepid says:

When America tortures, the terrorists win. Food for thought OS, C4P and Proud imbecile. So does it make you feel good that you support terrorists?

  140. mudsharks buddy says:

Does anyone think that this was LCheney’s idea?
Does anyone think that she is doing this solely for the love of her father?
    Not a chance.
And yes, Palin proved to be a liability to the GOPers. To us.
They can’t/don’t see it that way.

  141. Bozo The Neoclown says:

More than likely could have. But no. He did it his way. The GOP way. And look where it got us?
You don’t have a leg to stand on. All you’re doing is throwing

  149. mudsharks buddy says:

then she just made a slight error when racist were a little out of hand she whenever she said the code words, “palling around with terrorists” once in a while.

tribunals work? really, what is the conviction rate of the men held at gitmo as oppossed to those repatriated without a trial of any sort?

  166. bsober says:

Wow please, how bout a Cheney/Palin ticket? The way the “THUGS” are rolling now a days they would probably get aroused at the thought. I would seriously consider checking out Canada’s health care plan first hand!

  169. Xisithrus says:

Wiretapping works…wiretapping has been around since (R)Hoover and in the wrong hands its used criminally (R) Nixon and it was working until the LIHOP folks closed down the operation that knew of the attackers.

  170. mudsharks buddy says:

If boosh had done his job instead of going on vacation, none of this would have happened. And we wouldn’t be in this situation. So by saying this works or that works or even it doesn’t work. Is besides the point. The point is that Boosh failed the country and left us more unsafe.

  171. Intrepid says:

So Proud, what are you proud of? Being a complete imbecile?

  172. Bozo The Neoclown says:

  177. KayInMaine says:

For some reason I always think of this song when cracking troll skulls together:

Not sure why. I don’t even like this kind of music, but I think it might be because I just like to add more fuel to the fire, like my trolls beans burnt to the bottom of the pot, and just feel so silly inside! LOL

  178. kdgamergirl says:

We’re not answering another one of your pathetic little questions until you tell us what makes you proud. Thanks pal.

(If President Obama was truly continuing everything Bush/Cheney did, you would be on your knees worshiping the man at the moment with your tongue out!)

  181. dbadass says:

Proud: Your guys created this mess. It’s going to take time to sort it all out. What do you suggest? Let them all go.Oh, that’s right Boosh already tried that didn’t he? The ones he did let go are pretty pissed off. So, i they weren’t terrrist’s then, They are now.
    OS:
Hey, Your party loves these two. LOL!

  185. mudsharks buddy says:

ooppss That would be if they weren’t terrrists.
Which raises another question. How do you know they were terrrists if they never got a trial?

  186. dbadass says:

Yes, he’s doing a bangup job as of right now

  188. mudsharks buddy says:

Have a peaceful day folks. Many fought and died for this. Don’t let the trolls get to you.

  189. KayInMaine says:

George Bush & Dick Cheney had zero skills, well that is, if you ignore their skill at wrecking America and lying to the American people to get their illegal occupations of countries that did not attack us.

  190. Xisithrus says:

Yea, I just picked up a million dollar property for 500 thou. Thanks, obama!

  194. pbeeg says:

    It’s kind of amazing.

    Where’s Osama Bin Laden?

Why is Al Qaeda stronger than ever?

To paraphrase Arthur Dent, this must be a definition of the word ‘works” with which I was not previously acquainted.

  195. KayInMaine says:

    Proud Says:

    Fixed it for you.

And the answer is “don’t be such a moron, Proud.”

    Cheney torture: gone
    Cheney Gitmo: closing
Cheney indefinite imprisonment: reduced to minuscule, if not to zero numbers
Cheney alienation from rest of planet: gone
    Cheney anti-Constitutional “vice president”: gone

So, even the people picked up off the battlefield were all making bombs?

  202. WAYNEBRO says:

    OS Says:

Most were picked up on the battlefield.

You think they were “making bombs” on the battlefield?

  203. hyacinthgirl says:

Okay, I’m fairly new here, but I have a question about the likes of Proud and OS. Do these ‘people’ (I use the term loosely) come here before they are bitter and angry and want to try to rain on our parade, or are they just attention seekers who want any kind of attention even if it’s negative, or are they people who are bullied and miserable in their own lives and come here to take out their frustration on others. It’s clear that they don’t really want intelligent debate and they can’t really think they’re going to convert anyone. I would never think of going on a conservative site and start slinging insults or throwing out liberal talking points. I don’t understand what their motivation is.

  220. kdgamergirl says:

I tried asking the same things when I came here. It’s always a question the trolls avoid. Some of them are capable of having intellegent conversations but the rest are just stupid to be quiet honest. Then when you point out their obvious stupidity, they whine about you having nothing better to say. It goes on :)

As a psychologist, my guess on motivation is the need for attention in their otherwise dull lives. I’m also pretty sure some of them either are children or think like children.

  221. spring heeled jack says:

Conservatives invariably fall into the latter category.

    It’s really not that difficult.

  248. Xisithrus says:

JeffreytJ Says: blah, blah, blah… “do you give your boss your best opinion or the one you know will keep you out of trouble?”

Addington viewed Cheney as his client, even though the taxpayer was the one paying the lawyer advisers salary. Addington also knew that what Cheney wanted could cause him problems down the road, but he still did what his ‘client’ wanted, he was a yes man.

The question is should ‘yes’ men be advisers?

  249. Xisithrus says:

An furthermore Addington took some legislation that congress had passed and agreed upon and Addington altered it. It was McCains legislation. Addington then gave it to Harriet Myers who passed it to Dubya who signed it into law. A complete abrogation of the checks and balances of our democratic process of creating law.

Its why McCain flipped on his own legislation. I dont blame him in this case.

  253. Xisithrus says:

In 1988, while Dick Cheney was Wyoming’s sole representative in the House of Representatives, his daughter’s senior thesis was quietly published in Colorado Springs. The 125-page treatise argued that, constitutionally and historically, presidents have virtually unchecked powers in war. Thirteen years before her father became vice president, she had symbolically authored the first legal memorandum of the Bush administration, laying out the same arguments that would eventually justify Guantanamo and extraordinary rendition, wiretapping of American citizens, and, broadly, the unitary theory of the executive that shaped the Bush presidency.

Sounds like more of the federalists king with adviser stuff…

    OS Says:

Obama’s liberal philosophy dictates that when the news is bad, shoot the messenger. The newest data from Arbitron, the company charged with measuring the size of radio audiences, suggests that listenership to hip hop, inner city, and minority radio has been overstated in the past and that the popularity of conservative talk radio has been under-reported.

This conclusion – ideologically inconvenient for Obama – comes from the company’s decision to dispense with the Stone Age way it has been measuring radio audiences – by hand written diaries based on listener memory – with modern machines which automatically record what the person is listening to and for how long.

The opening barrage in Obama’s efforts to reign in talk radio was fired by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) this week when its acting Chairman Michael J. Copps announced an investigation of Arbitron’s radio measuring technology called the Portable People Meter. (Not to be confused with the Purple People Eater celebrated in song in the 1950s).

    1. Because the PPM’s exposure-based definition of “audience” produced larger and still unexplained television viewership, Nielsen believes that the marketplace will require a clearer explanation for the differences.

Lord, the pundits make such cackling hens of their listeners.

  297. ElBruce says:

It’s worth pointing out that of all succeeding Vice Presidents in modern memory, only 2 have declined to run for the Presidential primary following their President’s term:

    1) Dan Quayle, and
    2) Dick Cheney

And Quayle doesn’t count, since he declined to run in the next campaign after his Prez lost, which is not at all the same thing as declining to run directly after the second term that your Prez won. You’d have to go back to the 1800’s to find somone who would do something that crazy (slash-disloyal-to-their-own-party).

That’s how unelectable the bastard is.

Unless you count his second-banana status on the Bush ticket, the fact is that Cheney has never been elected to anything ever in his life. Ferchrissake, he picked himself to be Bush’s Veep, meaning he didn’t even have to face a headhunting committee.

To the degree that anybody is related to him his unelectability taints them as well.

    Proud Says:

I thought “progresives” were about love not hate, just goes to show your true colors. You are in control, stop the hate. You have nothing but love for terrorists, why not Liz.

There is so much wrong with this post.

First of all, you are painting with a broad stroke. Progressives come in many shades. Some feel no hatred, only disgust, anger, sadness, and much more, sometimes all at once. Moreover, those emotions are not the same. To conflate those expressions of emotion is quite laughable when coming from those who have a vested interest in painting their opposition as something to be feared and, ironically enough, hated. Project much?

Wishing everyone, including terrorists, to have equal rights under the law is in no way an expression of love for said terrorists, any more than wishing a murderer, a rapist, a corporate thief destroying thousands to millions of lives to varying degrees, or any other offender who has committed a heinous crime to likewise have equal protections and rights under the law to receive due process. Rather, that is a core principle of the founders of this country that all Men are created equal, and all have certain inalienable rights. Again, quite laughable coming from a group who purports to follow Yeshua, also known as Jesus Christ, who asks you to judge not, lest ye be judge, wishes only those without sin to cast the first stone, and wants you to love thy neighbor. How little you’ve learned from the teachings attributed to that name, and how much you use such teachings as convenient cover to express hatred, fear and loathing.

Progressives are in control? Really? Then why is it STILL so difficult to overcome the dug in interests who purposefully and maliciously stifle progressive policy, to the detriment of all in society save a tiny portion. What, exactly, is wrong with wishing to progress beyond the status quo? Not regress, not tangentially shift the paradigm to something different, but progress. In other words, to advance knowledge, understanding, policy and technology beyond that which oppresses.

No, your statement is categorically wrong. It serves, quite literally, no purpose other than to attempt to deflect the conversation away from the merits and towards large-scale argumentum ad homimen, to insert memes with no basis in reality as being truthful, and to stir hatred and divisiveness on all sides for pathetic political gain and personal power.

So, nice try. Okay, not really, it’s a pathetic effort. Argue ideas you oppose on their merits, present ideas of your own by highlighting their merits, and attempt to convince through logic and rational thought your ideals.

Your goals AND your means are transparent. They are also entirely unconvincing. In any debate, formal or no, you would long ago have conceded. It is in your best interests to try again. Only, try harder this time.

    olbermann rescinds chrity offer…

    Shocker!

You just never get tired of being wrong do you?

He didn’t rescind the charity offer genius.

He’s still donating the money, even more than he planned. 10,000 dollars to a charity for families of the fallen in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

He’s just donating it now on behalf of Eric Mancow INSTEAD of Sean Hannity, because Hannity’s too chicken to honor HIS word, and follow through with being waterboarded.

    So you’re wrong again.

    What a shocker.

  300. ElBruce says:

    Proud Says:

Just answer the question. Are the Bush/Cheney policies that Bambi is continuing the right policies or is Bambi just too inept to come up with his own solutions?

This is a very interesting question, and one which we will be grappling with for a while. It seems to me the problem is this: On the one hand, since they’ve been detained without charges and tortured, it’s nearly impossible to prepare an actual legal case against any of the detainees – almost all evidence is either nonexistent or inadmissible. On the other hand, it’s inconceivable to just cut these people loose in the U.S, since God only knows how many of them are, were, or will become actual terrorists. Thus, due to the actions of the Bush administration, Obama is stuck in a hell of an impossible legal position regarding detainees.

I only hope that he manages to navigate his way through it in some way that ultimately upholds the rule of law in the United States, while also preventing any future terrorist attacks.

Obviously, you and your ilk hope otherwise. That is because you are all filthy traitors to the Constitution and to the American way.

    .

    OS Says:

How do you know they were terrrists if they never got a trial?

Maybe the bombs they were making?

Citation please? All I know is that the people who are holding them for being terrorists say they are terrorists while refusing to supply any evidence. Could be your mom for all they’ve cited regarding any specific case evidence.

    .

    hyacinthgirl Says:

Okay, I’m fairly new here, but I have a question about the likes of Proud and OS. Do these ‘people’ (I use the term loosely) come here before they are bitter and angry and want to try to rain on our parade, or are they just attention seekers who want any kind of attention even if it’s negative, or are they people who are bullied and miserable in their own lives and come here to take out their frustration on others.

I’m kind of on two minds regarding this. On the one hand, I think that people like them really would do better at redstate or freeper. On the other hand, I appreciate that they bring the right-wing perspective here for us to kick around, giving us the opportunity to clarify our positions against their concerns and “arguments.” Thus, they are both complete wastes of skin, while still remaining useful to the likes of us. It’s damn near a koan in its self-contradiction. Thus, I don’t really worry about it.

    .

    OS Says:

    olbermann rescinds chrity offer…

    Shocker!

Here’s a good link for it. Conservative radio jock Erich “Mancow” Muller decided to undergo waterboarding to prove that it wasn’t torture. After the procedure, he had to admit that it definitely was torture – that he would have said anything they wanted. Olbermann is giving $10K to the charity of the guy who did the waterboarding, and is rescinding his offer to Hannity, since Mancow has made Hannity’s blather irrelevant. Mind you, Hannity had plenty of time to take up the offer himself, and cowardly refused day after day.

  301. WAYNEBRO says:

Uhh, rather than tap dancing to another topic tinker bell, how about you address the lie you just posted about Olbermann?

How about being a man for once in your wormlike existence, and admitting to being wrong there?

I dont hate OS, or Proud, they be funny.

  303. Moderation says:

    OS Says:

    Some feel no hatred

    Name one…

That is extraordinarily easy. Myself. I do not hate the Cheneys, or the Bushes, or conservatives in general. Disagreement, anger, a desire to see wrongdoings punished under the law, and so on, are not expressions of hatred. If I hated them, I would wish them harm, or worse, death. Yet, I do not. Instead, I wish them nothing more than a fair sentence spent in prison equitable to any crimes committed in all of our names, and against humanity as a whole. If the Rule of Law deems that to be a life sentence, so be it. That is not hatred, no matter how much you wish it to be.

Note also that you, too, attempt nothing more than a deflection from the meat of a post in favor of highlighting and attempting to raise up a single quote-mined point. You ignore the merits of the bulk of the argument in favor of a quaint sound byte to exploit for gain for “your side”, personal gain or no. It’s really quite transparent, and simply does not work on those who know what to look for, and do not allow emotion to cloud judgment. You can certainly do better than that if you put even a modicum of effort forth.

  304. WAYNEBRO says:

Seriously is this what you do for a living? Or is it just some sort of psychosis, some sort of “Tourettes” like disorder?

You accuse Olbermann of rescinding his “Charity offer” which he did not, merely changed the persons name he was giving on behalf of, and then you flutter onto the next one liner, never bothering to clean up the sh$tstain you left with the last one.

Do you really believe in God? Do you really think that “bearing false witness” is going to get you into his good graces?

How about you act lie a man for a change instead of a worm, and just apologize for your lie about Olbermann?

    I’ll be waiting.

And just like Olbermann, the wait for a conservative to show a modicum of honor…will no doubt be a long one.

There is so much wrong with this post.

Unfortunately, this crap is par for the course. It’s a confluence of two standard wingnut tactics:

    1) “All liberals are pro-terrorist.” This is so blatantly obviously wrong that I need marshal no facts to support the contrary. It is sufficient to point out that there are no facts whatsoever supporting it.

    2) “You progressives are angry at the right wing, that means you are full of hatred instead of love.” First of all, we’re not hippies; “love” is besides the point. Secondly, we are justifiably angry at the people who have systematically tried to destroy everything that our country stands for, and continue to. Frankly, it is the right wing that stands for hatred – of Arabs, of Muslims, of all people of color, of homosexuals, of women, and of anyone who cares about their fellow human. Their policies are across the board pro-murder, pro-war, pro-rape, pro-torture, pro-evil in all of its myriad forms. To the (frankly retarded demand) “don’t hate the hater” I can only reply, “who else could I conceivably hate?”

I read your link. What’s “dishonorable” about characterizing the situation in Iraq in 2006 as a civil war? Presumtive, certainly. And he’s often over-the-top. But “honor” is not the same thing as “agrees with OS.”

Here’s the original NYT story. Here’s where the reporter of the original story walked it back and admitted that maybe the “unreleased report” didn’t say what she said it said.

Olbermann has nothing to do with that story, BTW.

I don’t know how relevant any commandments are, but I do know that wingnuts follow the commandment fromt he book of Rove, “attack them at their strength.” So if they’re claiming that Olbermann “has no honor,” they must actually see him as a pretty honorable guy.

  321. WAYNEBRO says:

    ElBruce Says:

I don’t know how relevant any commandments are

Well they’re quite relevant to both Jewish and Christian persons, as well as providing basis for core principles in our legal system.

Breaking the 9th commandment is illegal in US courts of law.

If you bear false witness against someone in court, you can find yourself in serious civil and or criminal trouble.

And since most conservatives “claim” to be Christian, I find it quite relevant, irregardless of the legal, moral and ethical connotations.

If you noticed, OS and Proud are derailing/hijacking this thread.
They don’t want this topic discussed. They want to give this idea a chance to get some traction. A Palin/Cheney ticket in 12 is their best shot. Think about it. Who else do they have?
    Canford? Boner? Newtie?
The Governor of Floriduh is their best option. And their turning on him for being too much of a centrist.
Nope, this is all they have. That’s why these two keep taking this thread off topic. They have too. Their scared to see what will happen if this actually comes to fruition. They need time to build this up. If we see this coming from miles away. We have time to prepare for this. And prepare we will.
So go right ahead you two. Keep up the stupidity. You’re not fooling anyone.
But I’d like to suggest that everyone just ignore these two asshats. They don’t deserve a response.

    OS Says:

olbermann is so desperate to find people to parrot his views he has to pay them. LOL!

This what I’m talking about. This asshat actually thinks that those who go on FUX NOOZ actually do it for free.
Now, I ask you. Is this clown worth responding too?
