You’re always apologizing for them, they embarrass you every chance they get, and you only go to see them on special occasions.

I bet everyone wishes they could constantly fail at their job and STILL get paid, that would certainly relieve the pressure of actually having to competently perform at work.
Would sure free up a lot of time.

Well, it could be, but there’s a solution. We can get rid of Scalia, Thomas, Roberts, Alito and Kennedy. Then there’d only be one.

As far as the Catholic issue goes, Sotomayor will be banned from taking communion if she refuses to vote against Roe v Wade. It’s funny, it used to be that conservatives were afraid of Catholics because they were supposed to take their marching orders from the pope instead of the constitution, now it’s the opposite…

Yeah, I’m worried about that, too, and I’m a Catholic….well, baptised and raised one, but this does not bode well for Roe v Wade, unless she really is that rare human being who can divorce her personal and religious views from those of interpreting the law. We can only hope. Personally, I am also worried about the increasing role religion is taking in the running of our country…..I’m a firm believer in the separation of church and state, and in my estimation, “church” seems to be sticking its nose where it doesn’t belong, no matter what the denomination.
