G. Gordon Liddy On Sotomayor: ‘Let’s Hope That The Key Conferences Aren’t When She’s Menstruating’
Yesterday on his radio show, conservative host G. Gordon Liddy continued the right wing’s all-out assault on Judge Sonia Sotomayor. First, just like Tom Tancredo, Liddy slammed Sotomayor’s affiliation with the civil rights group La Raza — and referred to the Spanish language as “illegal alien“:
LIDDY: I understand that they found out today that Miss Sotomayor is a member of La Raza, which means in illegal alien, “the race.” And that should not surprise anyone because she’s already on record with a number of racist comments.
Finished with the race-based attack, Liddy moved on to denigrate Sotomayor’s gender:
LIDDY: Let’s hope that the key conferences aren’t when she’s menstruating or something, or just before she’s going to menstruate. That would really be bad. Lord knows what we would get then.
Finally, Liddy disputed the entire idea that there’s anything wrong with the paucity of women and total lack of Hispanics on the Court:
LIDDY: And everybody is cheering because Hispanics and females have been, quote, underrepresented, unquote. And as you pointed out, which I thought was quite insightful, the Supreme Court is not designed to be and should not be a representative body.

Liddy and his radical colleagues, mostly on the radio, are so far failing to get the conservative leadership on board with their racist and sexist attacks. Last night, Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) called the attacks “terrible” and “wrong.” Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT) was asked if he agreed with Newt Gingrich’s characterization of Sotomayor as a “Latina woman racist.” “No, I don’t agree with that,” Hatch replied.

You’d be referring to the Ricci case there. Regardless of whether you agree with it, Title VII of the Civil Rights act and standing precedent require that any employment test which skews wildly against one racial group must be thrown out. That’s what the New Haven fire department did, the lower court ruled they were correct to do so, and the 3-judge panel that Sotomayor was on let that ruling stand.
So all you’re saying here is that she’s a “racist” because she’s not an activist judge on behalf of white people.

How else would you recommend introducing currency into an economy? Think about it: at some point, whoever’s introducing the currency technically owns it. Therefore, at some starting point, you just have to “magically” assign currency to an ownership entity. Otherwise, there can be no currency. There’s no alternative. The problem with most conspiracy theories is that the people proposing them have no alternative suggestion for how things could work better. The more you think about it, the more you realize that some artificial agency needs to be assigned ownership to new currency, in order to distribute the currency down the bank chain; whatever you call that initial agency becomes your “Fed” under any hypothetical scheme.

But it’s independence is there for a very good reason: in many countries where the legislature controls the money supply, the political temptation to print money to solve any economic downturn is often too strong to resist. Therefore, the money supply should not be in the hands of politicians. Tell me this: whose hands should it be in?
There’s no reason for me to engage in the ravings of a conspiracy theorist unless that person is also willing to propose an alternative solution. So, what are yours? Tell me or STFU.

The thing is, despite a certain degree of fluctuation males produce hormones for life, whereas women’s hormone levels drop significantly after menopause. Even if a guy wasn’t taking extra hormones, he can’t be trusted not to produce them. The only people with consistently low hormone levels are pre-pubescent children or older women. Thus, only older women should be judges.

The U.S. v. Sanchez-Villar decision: this was a case where an illegal alien possessed a firearm and 1.2 kilos of cocaine with an intent to distribute both. The charges were affirmed in both a district court and the appeals court, so the whole “2nd amendment being a fundamental right” argument is valid. This was a criminal–an illegal alien, at that–with a gun, not a citizen.
Yes, Sotomayor was one judge who ruled AGAINST an illegal alien. And here we thought she was a sympathizer. Moreover, this was a three-judge panel, so how was this solely her decision?
The second case they provide (Maloney v. Rice) regards a misdemeanor charge for the possession of nunchakus that was heldearlier this year, again by a three-judge panel. The nunchakus were destroyed, but Maloney stated his 2nd Amendment rights were violated. However, this was a state law that was enforced, not a federal law to regulate arms, so the appeal was rejected. In other words, this is due to the New York law itself being the crux of this decision, not Sotomayor’s desire to overturn the 2nd Amendment. If there was no NY law, I would think that Sotomayor would reverse the decision.
Finally, as a graduate student she wrote a these on “Deadly Obsession: American Gun Culture”. While this would assume that she has a target on banning firearms, we won’t know until we fully read this article. For the record, 1) this was NOT her graduate thesis at Princeton, merely a paper she had written before graduation, 2) this does not indicate if she was judged correctly in this paper. What did her professors have to say about the paper? If their input was correct in determining her argument invalid, it could have easily swayed her thoughts about the 2nd Amendment.
Two court decisions where she was amongst a three-judge panel and a paper in college. That’s all you have?

Earlier this year, Sotomayor ruled that states do not have to obey the Second Amendment’s commandment that the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed, according to CNSNews. In Maloney v. Cuomo, Sotomayor signed an opinion of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit that said the Second Amendment does not protect individuals from having their right to keep and bear arms restricted by state governments.
Not surprising an illegal alien President with a record of Hating the 2nd Amendment would pick a gun grabber for SCJ. After all, in 2000, Barack Obama cosponsored a bill that would have limited the purchase of handguns to one per month. That may not sound significant, but the truth is, such a bill would impede the rights of law abiding citizens. There is no justifiable reason to limit the ability of people who have no criminal record from purchasing any legal fire arm.
Obama at the same time also voted against allowing people to violate local firearms bans even in the case of self protection. What does that mean in application? Criminals who are already breaking the law have nothing to worry about, because Obama has made sure that law abiding citizens cannot carry a weapon to protect themselves against those criminals.
According to the 1998 Illinois State Legislative National Political Awareness Test of July 2, 1998, Obama also supports the banning of all semi-automatic weapon sales and transfers. When most people hear “semi-automatic weapon”, they think of the gun in the hand of the gang banger. That may be true, but there are a lot of other guns that are semi-automatic, which would also be included in such bans. Shotguns, for example, that are used by bird hunters would fall under the ban. The only reason to try to ban a whole class of guns, with such a wide stroke, is to start the progression of banning all guns eventually.
I don’t try to be some super prescient ominpresent demigogue like Stupid the Bruce, I simply read the Globalists’ records, their books, their decisions IN THEIR ENTIRETY!
The evidence is not only voluminous, it’s right in front of us!
