I knew he would still be wallpapering this thread. I take the Holocaust seriously enough not to wear it out. I am not nor have I ever been anti-semitic. I’m agnostic. Why in the world would I be anti-semitic? The assertion that I would “forget” or approve of any persecution and systematic murder is anti-social.

And it would be perfectly reasonable for a Senator to want to investigate that allegation before confirming. I would have no problem with them doing this through open procedural rules.

Sigh… Apparently CFP doesn’t see the difference between a filibuster and an anonymous hold. Not to mention the fact that Alito was contested because of some very controversial rulings/writings while the GOoPers are making up crap about promoting “transnationalism” and Sharia law.

I just want to make a “general overall statement” not so much about this article but all of the Republicans actions against the Obama administration appointments.
It seems to me, that President Obama and his administration are running this country with almost a skeleton crew! So many of his appointments are being put on “hold” that he is being forced to run the country without the support of the much needed administration “bench” player (to use a basketball term), AND!! he’s not doing too bad. Good thing he’s smart, young and full of energy.
I hope the American people are paying attention and can see between the lines and past the Republican B.S.

The truth is that Koh didn’t attend a prestigious law school, such as Regents U.

Seriously though, Using this logic we can’t have anyone of English extraction as they would try to impose the Monarchy and Magna Carta. And the French system of Napoleonic Law is unfanthomable. etc. etc.

Congress needs to begin investigation of the torture and war crimes and watch some of this go away. These thugs are afraid of Dawn Johnsen and this guy for their outspoken stance against the wars and conduct of the Bush Crime Family. They will hold on to the NARAL of Johnsen but the crimes are also a big fear.

I think Cornyn and Vitter put Koh on hold as Colemen may be ready to give up his fight for the Senate seat if the Minnesota Supreme Court rule in Frankin’s favor as they are likely too.
