At some point, the one bleeds into the other. Any person who decides to kill hundreds of thousands of people for a lie, I can’t love, and in fact I justifiably condemn anybody who claims to.

But I don’t see her as a fair game target, based on anything she’s ever said.

The more I have read of Sotomayor’s unpublished opinions, the more I am convinced that she should be confirmed. There is a substantial chance that she is going to surprise a lot of Liberals on some issues, which is more than Conservatives can hope for from most potential Obama nominees. I still predict about an 80-19 vote to confirm.

Really, what do they say about Democrats on right-wing sites? If Ted Kennedy made a moderately agreeable statement to them and that was reported there, none of the site commenters would bring up other issues they had against him? I find that hard to believe.

I suspect that Laura Bush is considered to be irrelevent by the GOP, and thus she never received her talking points script. For this reason, she says what she thinks — and as a result she sounds more lucid than the party parrots.

Kudos to you for managing to comment on Laura without any comments about her marriage choice. I think most of us are in agreement that her husband’s no prize, but I’m rather surprised by the hateful slams against her by some of our posters this morning. C’mon, people, get a grip — her comments on GMA don’t merit bashing her.
