It doesn’t matter whether Obama is a Christian, Muslim, or any religion. The wingnuts are simply afraid of a man with a funny name (as Obama said on the campaign trial for the Presidency)of being a successful President as we had for 8 years of the worst President ever. His name doesn’t bother mev either. My concern is that he cleans up the mess done by Bush and be the public servant to the American people. This redundant rhetoric to whether Obama is Muslim or not is nothing but fear mongering and the wingnuts are running out of ideas of attack against Obama.

There’s his purpose, right there. You don’t need any secret codes, you can just read what he’s saying: the “Holy Land” has historically been fought over by three closely related faiths, and maybe they should get along with each other instead.

The Quran is overtly anti-Christ. It denies his death and resurrection. The Quran rejects Jesus as the Son of God (Quran 4:171), and states that Jesus is not the sacrifice of God (Quran 4:157). The Bible and the Quran are inherently opposed and you cannot reconcile the two on this issue. Because the Quran strongly and continually denies Christ, there is a side to the Quran that is overtly demonic in inspiration. Many Muslims and Christians affirm that the Quran has a tremendous amount of influence and power, with the help of spiritual forces.

However, strictly speaking using that phrase does not require adherence to any specific theological tenet this is a statement with which bit agrees. OTOH, bit accepted some time ago that his thinking is not the same as a typical Muslim. You might want to work with the idea that not everyone is as open-minded or tolerant as you, or bit.
Even bit isn’t as leading or deceptive as you.

There is nothing in the New Testament that suggests that all religions – religious pluralism – are to be respected. Your remark reflects a political view, not a religious one.

There are a lot of ecumenical groups who would disagree. Are you saying Christians who tolerate the existence of other faiths aren’t really Christian? In that case, you’re going to have to kill a lot of people before your current Crusade is over, many of them Christians.

Peace be upon you, bitblt. That’s not a secret code, it’s pretty damn clear. As a matter of fact, Jesus used to say it all the time.

Grouping Moses/Jesus/Mohammed together might follow a tradition of holding them as being of roughly equal holiness, but the tradition of using that phrase does not require adherence to any specific theological tenet. It’s just a tradition of respect and wishing well to others. Something you are congenitally incapable of understanding.

So if you believe we all sons of God because we were created in God’s image, then don’t you believe that abortion is a reprehensible action against the Creator, who created life?

Anyway, now that it’s okay to talk about Obama’s Muslim father and his experiences with Islam, of course there are questions, as this was taboo during his campaign!
