JohnM, I commend you for calling yourself pro-life. Our infant mortality rate is high and many children in our country do not have access to health care and how many of them die in early childhood due to inadequate health care? The logical extension of your pro-life stance is to call for universal health care for all. I mean who among those kids could have been the one to find a cure for cancer, to discover the largest prime number, to invent something that could change our lives for the better?

If they wanted to kill so badly, why didn’t they volunteer for Iraq? Join Blackwater ? Plenty of killing they couldhave done in the name of their false God.

You are aware, are you not, that it is reported that Abortionist Tiller stated that he had performed 60,000 abortions, and 10,000 of these abortions were late term abortions. Again according to Abortionist Tiller only 800 of these 10,000 abortions were done because there was something “wrong” with the pre-born child. The something “wrong” included pre-born twins and pre-born with cleft palates.

That’s eight percent of these pre-born with a “physical” problem.

Ninety-three percent of the abortions are done for birth control.

The zealots are advocating for responsibility.

Believe there was a former abortion clinic down in Chattanooga, and the clinic had been made into some sort of memorial to all the pre-born who had been aborted there.

Seems there was a need in many of the almost mothers to memorialized their pre-born children. Inside of this former abortion clinic the walls were lined with little plagues with names the almost mothers had given to their almost children.

The Bible says you’re imbued with a soul when you draw your first breath, and not before.

If this is what you think the Bible says, bit is sure that’ll you’ll be gracious enough to post the book, chapter, and verse where the Bible says what you claim.

While your claim is not contrary to what the Bible says, as bit understands it, bit thinks the verse to which you refer actually says something different.

Bit thinks you’re referring to what Genesis says about the first man.

Genesis says that God breathed into the first man and the man became a living soul, and of course, the word soul is associated with breathing.

Genesis 2

[7] then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

bit believes this is verse to which you refer. Bit would appreciate any correction.

Since every living human came from this first man, it’s just as accurate to say that God put the breath of life – the soul – in every human. He did this by inviting people to participate in act of creation ( Genesis 1:28 “…be fruitful and multiply…”) One gets the gift of life from the Creator, and one gets the privilege, and responsibility, of passing this gift from the Creator to new generations.

If one rejects this “privilege and responsibility” by aborting their pre-born offspring, it seems to bit that the message to the Creator is this “Life is not an important gift which I appreciate; therefore, I choose death.”

Posting gross pictures doesn’t change any of the facts of the matter. Fetuses are not babies. Legislating the contents of another person’s internal organs is a violation of the Fourth Amendment.

If it’s legal to legislate the insides of other peoples’ bodies, then I could push to make it illegal to remove your appendix even if it burst, thus killing you. That might sound ridiculous to you, but maybe I’m going to start a pro-appendix religious movement and take over politics in your area. Anti-abortion legislation is the first step on a slippery slope to this sort of thing.

My point is that if you were truly Pro-Life you would recognize that anyone in our custody is entitled fair and humane treatment. Even Muslims suspected of being terrorists.

I never said that they should be killed, which is the equivalent here, not enhanced interrogation. I am pro life, which is why I want to protect innocent people from terrorists and if that means enhnanced interrogation to save those people it is worth it. That is very much pro-life.

These anti-choice people don’t understand how difficult the choice is in the third trimester to have an abortion. These women feel the baby moving around inside and it must be heartbreaking to have to make a choice.
