Last night on Fox News, former top Bush adviser Karl Rove chastised President Obama for his economic recovery package Congress passed last February and criticized him for his new proposal to enact “pay as you go” budgeting rules — paying for spending increases by either raising taxes or budget cuts.
“This is a cosmetic gesture. This guy is going to run up a $1.8 trillion deficit. That’s what it’s projected to be this year,” Rove complained. But when host Greta Van Susteren asked if the Bush administration is responsible for any of the deficit, Rove replied, “No.”:
VAN SUSTEREN: Do you take some responsibility, meaning you, the Bush eight years, for this…
ROVE: No.
VAN SUSTEREN: You take absolutely no responsibility? Because…
ROVE: No.
Watch it:
Rove’s denial is odd, not only because the Bush administration turned President Clinton’s budget surplus into massive deficits and left with nearly half a trillion dollars in the hole, but also because Bush presided over the largest debt increase of any U.S. president in history. But the timing of Rove’s denial is odd as well because the New York Times published yesterday the results of an examination of Congressional Budget Office reports going back almost a decade which found that Obama “is responsible for only a sliver of the deficits” and most of his adminstration’s contribution to the deficit is a result of continuing Bush policies:
About 33 percent of the swing stems from new legislation signed by Mr. Bush. That legislation, like his tax cuts and the Medicare prescription drug benefit, not only continue to cost the government but have also increased interest payments on the national debt.
Mr. Obama’s main contribution to the deficit is his extension of several Bush policies, like the Iraq war and tax cuts for households making less than $250,000. Such policies — together with the Wall Street bailout, which was signed by Mr. Bush and supported by Mr. Obama — account for 20 percent of the swing.
“In other words,” Matt Yglesias writes, “the very high deficits are not Obama’s fault according to any normal way of assessing political blame.” See Yglesias’s pie chart illustrating the Times’s story here.
Last night on the Young Turks, Cenk Uygur read the recent CBO report which said 80 to 90% of the budget deficits through the year 2012 are the fault of Bush and his recession.
June 11th, 2009 at 1:31 pmSure Karl. Whatever you say. The deficits were spontaneous events?
June 11th, 2009 at 1:33 pmROVE: No.
Karl Rove rolls out the official slogan of the GOP.
June 11th, 2009 at 1:34 pmEven Greta seemed taken aback by Rove’s obliviousness.
I guess Rove is not aware that this year’s budget is the one Bush signed. The fiscal year for the federal government runs from Oct. 1 to Sept. 30.
June 11th, 2009 at 1:34 pmjail that pos already.
June 11th, 2009 at 1:34 pm‘No’ That’s it. What a way to defend yourself Karl! I guess you can grab a magic wand and if you think hard enough, it will all go away. And what the F**k is Karl doing on T.V.? The man is a dangerous has-been.
June 11th, 2009 at 1:35 pmIt’s
Jefferson’sRoosevelt’sKennedy’sCarter’sClinton’sObama’s fault, damnit!!!**snort**
June 11th, 2009 at 1:35 pmI think Rove is splitting hairs here, he knows that Bush created alot of deficits but in his political hack mind they are now Obamas responsibility.
And in a way thats correct, its now someone elses problem….and dont expect a FOX employee to pin down a FOX employee and give an honest and insightful answer, it would be like Fox host debating a FOX host over Murdochs infidelity.
June 11th, 2009 at 1:36 pmKKKarl’s lips are moving. He must be lying again.
June 11th, 2009 at 1:38 pmHe’s basically admitting to working in the least responsible administration ever.
Eventually, even a chronic liar backs into the truth.
June 11th, 2009 at 1:43 pmRove: Bush Administration Has ‘No’ Responsibility For Current Budget Deficits
– - Rove, the poster boy for Irrelevancy.
June 11th, 2009 at 1:44 pmLuckily only about 30 percent of the public gets its “news” from the Faux network so 70 percent of us have a chance to know whats actually happening in the world. Unfortunately we seem to continue to be bombarded with coverage of what Faux says and I wonder how much that constant play of their lies makes for legitimacy in the eyes of the 70 percent who dont waste their time or breath watching Faux?
June 11th, 2009 at 1:45 pmWe have statistics, charts and facts. Rove just has one word: “no.” In wingnut-land that’s called “having a reasonable debate.” But the fact is, we got him stone cold on this; he shouldn’t have even tried. Shaking your head and stamping your feet while shouting “no no no no no!” Doesn’t win any arguments. It didn’t work when you were two years old, and it certainly isn’t going to work now, Karl.
Regarding Matt’s chart, I’m still unclear about the logic of separating the green slice for the stimulus bill from the grey “Obama agenda” slice. But even if you add those together with the yellow “continuation of Bush policies” slice, it still comes out about the same as the Bush deficit overall. We should also underline that most of the yellow slice is attributed to the the Iraq war and tax cuts on the wealthy, both of which are set to expire during Obama’s first term. So, things are guaranteed to get better, deficit-wise.
June 11th, 2009 at 1:45 pmI don’t see how we can hold Bush responsible for anything. I can’t think of a more irresponsible person. He is a weak man that let Cheney et al (fascist neoliberals run the government).
June 11th, 2009 at 1:46 pmI seem to recall being lectured about “personal responsibility” a few times by this fat loaf of manure.
June 11th, 2009 at 1:47 pmWhat about denying responsibility is odd for a turd blossom? None of this strikes me as odd: denial of responsibility in the face of contrary evidence. They and especially rove have done that for years.
“Yes, we bear some responsibility.” That would be odd.
June 11th, 2009 at 1:47 pmis it really surprising that rove denied having any responsibility?
the man is a liar
and an idiot
how can you admire a man who refuses to take responsibility for anything he does wrong?
i think rove and people like him are the scum of the earth
June 11th, 2009 at 1:48 pm(Interviewer-) Ms. Piggy: Was it you who hired Jeff Gannon to sneak into the WH for you Marine Corps wrestling training?
Ms. Piggy:- “No”
June 11th, 2009 at 1:48 pmMath is a discipline grounded in reality.
Rove is a Republican.
You begin to see the problem here.
June 11th, 2009 at 1:49 pmBut, but, but, Bill Clinton!
The trolls are hiding from the FBI today, so I thought I would say it for them.
June 11th, 2009 at 1:50 pmThe revisionism is reaching peak insanity. We all knew that once President Obama started wrestling the country out of its woes, the people who caused this mess would put their massive egos to work by setting benchmarks for his administration.
Now, they’re sneaking in the claim that no problems existed under their authority in hopes that the mechanics under the current administration will be seen as fixing what isn’t broken — and what is broken, broke after Jan. 21st.
The previous administration — including you, Bush’s turd brain — need get the hint that public servants don’t get to write their own legacy, they don’t get to turn in their own grades, WE DO.
June 11th, 2009 at 1:51 pmSo whose fault/responsibility is it ?
The one-armed man ?
June 11th, 2009 at 1:51 pmSo, the Turd Blossom waxes poetic. Such a way with words. The poetry rolls right off his toungue.
June 11th, 2009 at 1:52 pmThanks, shoeless. I knew something was missing.
June 11th, 2009 at 1:53 pmIt’s unfortunate that justice does not exist in America. If it did then Bush Sr., Bush Jr., Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rove, Wolfowitz, Richard Pearl, etc., would imprisoned for life for murdering millions of defenseless Iraqi men, women, and children in two wars.
June 11th, 2009 at 1:53 pm‘No’ is all Republicans can say anymore.
June 11th, 2009 at 1:54 pm….
the party of “no”.
:|
June 11th, 2009 at 1:54 pmFOX employee 1: “Is it your fault?”
FOX employee 2: “No”
FOX employee 1: “I have to act like I am pulling out fingernails here [giggles] you take no credit for these debts, this generational theft the current admin is having to deal with? Any responsibility whatsoever ever ever ever???” [serious journalist scowl]
FOX employee 2: “No” [smiles]
FOX employee 1: “Your such an honest, awesome, beautiful adept and cheerful person, thanks for your brilliant insight. A real angel. FOX is lucky to affo…umm, have you”
FOX employee 2: “Thanks for having me on and making me speak the truth, your a tough but fair and balanced investigative journalist of the highest caliber, heckuva job” [smirk]
June 11th, 2009 at 1:56 pmCan anyone tell me what’s the status of Rove’s written testimony to congress?
June 11th, 2009 at 1:57 pmThis is not a surprise…sociopaths usually don’t take personal responsibility…though they tend to make everyone else responsible…
June 11th, 2009 at 1:58 pmRove: Bush Administration Has ‘No’ Responsibility For Current Budget Deficits
Bush is no longer responsible…but if these should be in jail criminals say this statement enough,do they actually think the viewers will believe it was not Bush’s fault?
June 11th, 2009 at 1:58 pmhellinabucket@29, Yeah, what ever happened about that. I remembersaomething mentioned a couple of weeks ago, but you how hard it is to keep up with the Bush Adm. scandals. There is so many of ‘em, you lose track!
June 11th, 2009 at 2:00 pmI don’t understand what Rove is so upset about. After all, I heard that “Reagan proved deficits don’t matter”.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:01 pmThe Bush deficits are going to get even worse from obligations incurred by looking the other way. Veterans care, health care instability are two major examples. Hands off is very expensive, and I’ve said before, the Rove-Bush-Cheney brand of hands-off at home and carnage overseas necessitates the government getting bigger and more investment and aid doled out just to the return to some level of normalcy.
The great irony through all of this is that while Bush/Cheney have put this country trillions in the red, they are crediting $190,000 and $120,000 annual taxpayer pensions in their personal accounts.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:01 pmYes, Bush was responsible for the immense deficit, but Karl Rove knows that ’saying makes it so: the bigger the lie, the more you can hoodwink people with it.” What is to be done about Fox news and the Murdoch News Corp, who are Goebbelsian to an alarming degree?
June 11th, 2009 at 2:01 pmHow can I get PO’ed when I am having such a good time poking fun at them?
June 11th, 2009 at 2:01 pmRove is a pathological liar who should be arrested for refusing to answer subpoenas. God will get him for all his lies.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:02 pmROVE:
June 11th, 2009 at 2:03 pm“You should know by now Greta ,that anything wrongly done cannot be our fault; it is always the draker man’s fault. We,Republicans are not known to make mistkes, Greta….,period”.
….and we have another lie from the Lying Rove Report. The party of “all lies” at it again not surprising, in fact it’s becoming sicking and disgusting.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:04 pmYou’ll make someone a wonderful wife, Karl.
In prison.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:15 pmFrom Bush’s brain to a manure spreader. What an easy transition for this sleazeball.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:16 pmYes, he had Dick Cheney write it for him. It reads, “Leahy, go fu(ck yourself.”
June 11th, 2009 at 2:16 pmCarl Rove is possibly the creepiest man alive. He can with a straight face say something like, “The Bush Administration is not responsible for the current financial crisis” and never flinch. These people have to go. We need to seriously boycott Fox news and all of the goofballs that are associated with Fox news and the neo-conservitive party. They are completely out of their minds.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:17 pmThree chemicals mix
June 11th, 2009 at 2:18 pmDeep inside of balding ham
Thought processes spawned
My Car broke down today and I can’t fix it. I blame Bush for that. He should fix my car.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:19 pmmicalpeace,
June 11th, 2009 at 2:21 pmBush is at fault for the Swine Flu, don’t you agree.
Bush came into office with a $5.5 trillion national debt, and left it at $11 trillion. How did that happen, Karl? Clinton effectively reduced the national debt by $500 billion over eight years, and left Bush with a $300+ billion surplus!
President Obama made it clear that he was putting the costs of the wars into the budget to fulfill his promise of transparency. That, coupled with the financial disaster that happened under BushCo’s watch, is what explains the huge budget deficit.
Lying fcuking idiot!
PEACE
June 11th, 2009 at 2:21 pmwtf are you even trying to say there, Mr. Game?
or are you just a fussy lil righty with nothing real to say?
June 11th, 2009 at 2:22 pmRove is absolutely 100% correct. The question was “do you take any responsibility . . . ” He wasn’t asked if the Bush administration was responsible, just whether they would take any responsibility. The obvious answer will always e “No.” Because they have never taken any responsibility for their multiple screw-ups and disasters. And they never will.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:24 pmAnd how much bigger was George’s deficit compared to Clintons?
oh wait, 9-11 changed everything, including “the maths”…
the main difference between obamas spending and bush’s is that most of obamas spendin WONT end up in the hands of war profiteers like halliburton, who are being paid EXTRA every time they screw up, to fix thier own mistakes..or if we’re really unlucky they will just hand us a bill twice for doing the same subpar job…
June 11th, 2009 at 2:24 pmDo turdblossoms bloom in the spring?
I think KKKarl is blooming. Either that or he’s in heat.
The stench from that shit flower can be smelled over the internet.
But…instead of pollinating the air, he pollutes the airwaves.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:25 pmtombaker,
June 11th, 2009 at 2:25 pmI’m not a Righty, I’m a Lefty who nhates Bush. My car broke and I blame Bush. I blame him for everything, Bush is everywhere!
I believe the Republicans are suffering from some sort of unknown disease. Given the choice of saying something reasonable or the preposterous, they opt for the later and usually in front of a TV camera.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:28 pmwell, there ya have it, tom
gameboy isn’t right or left, he is waiting until he is old enough to vote to make that decision
June 11th, 2009 at 2:28 pm…and Trajan shows up right after the smell of turdblossom.
How predictable!
SSDT (same shit, different Troll)
June 11th, 2009 at 2:28 pmgummble-bee-itch,
June 11th, 2009 at 2:29 pmI agree Bush must be blamed for everything. Bush is behind all of the world’s ill. I have a relative with Cancer, I blame Bush for thst.
Oh good. We finally have a troll show up.
It’s not a very good troll, not very clever, and it’s doing that “fake progressive” thing.
But with all the rest of them cowering in their bedroom closets, at least this little feller has the lack of sense to show his face.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:31 pm- – From The CATO Institute, fer crissakes:
“Karl Rove should have been named Man of the Year at some point by the Democratic National Committee. The political consultant/Bush adviser played a big role in expanding the burden of government, convincing Bush to saddle the nation with fiscal disasters such as the “no-bureaucrat-left-behind” education bill, the corrupt farm bills, the pork-filled transportation bills, and the horrific new entitlement for prescription drugs. He also helped ruin the GOP image with his inside-the-beltway version of “compassionate conservatism,” thus paving the way for big Democratic victories in 2006 and 2008.
I can understand why libertarians have no desire to listen to his advice, but I’m baffled why Republicans or conservatives would give him the time of day. Yet he is a constant presence on FOX News and has a weekly column in the Wall Street Journal. With no apparent irony, his latest WSJ column is entitled “How to Stop Socialized Health Care.” Too bad he didn’t follow his own advice in 2003 when pulling out all the stops to enact the biggest entitlement in four decades,” – Daniel Mitchell, CATO at Liberty.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:34 pmPoor blame game
Cant come to grips with the reality of the situation so he/she attempts to deflect and not discuss the substance.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:34 pmralph the wonder locust,
June 11th, 2009 at 2:35 pmHow an I fake? I blame Bush for everything. I cut myself shaving 2 days ago, it’s Bush’s fault. I hate Bush so I am a progressive.
zoinks!!
that’s some ineffectual trollery, if ever there was any…
June 11th, 2009 at 2:35 pmThe Blame Game Says:
Just flag the idiot troll and get it banned… again.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:36 pmSince when have Republicans taken responsibility for ANYTHING? When they question the very existence of ‘facts’, why would we expect them to acknowledge any adverse responsibility.
There is a story that Rove was active in debate-club in high school and would always show up with more index cards (austensibly containing salient quotes or facts) than anyone else. However, most of the cards were blank and merely there to intimidate his opponents. With blank cards and bravado, he could always find the perfect rebuttal, since he was not constrained by ‘truth’. It was a winning strategy since disproving a plausible lie is a greatly more difficult than inventing it in the first place. He won by changing the paradigm.
This is why it is important to prosecute the criminals (like Rove) in the previous administration. We must brand them as criminals so their credibility is compromised.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:37 pmOh, I get it!
If the troll pretends that progressives blame Bush for everything, even stuff that sounds completely absurd, it hopes it can thus discredit the legitimate blame actually due the previous administration.
Again, not very clever… but let’s face it… Twajie doesn’t have a lot to work with.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:37 pmOne big advantage to indicting these criminals is that they would have to talk to the media through their lawyers.
Amazing how orange coveralls and handcuffs have an effect on lies and blather.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:37 pmHi The Blame Game:
June 11th, 2009 at 2:38 pmSorry about your car. Which relative? What type of cancer is it? Hope it works out…
Sadly Rove is entirely corret. The Bush administration was not responsible in this case. In fact they were not responsible for much of anything. Unfortunately, the fact that the Bush administration was SO irresponsible has put us in quite a jam.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:38 pm(Sigh…) when you’re right, you’re right, Wayne.
Flag and freeze seconded.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:39 pmme thinks the blame game should look at his/her parents if he wants to start blaming.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:40 pmSo if one irresponsibly plays with matches in a field of dry grass, they aren’t responsible for the brushfire?
June 11th, 2009 at 2:40 pmdbadass,
June 11th, 2009 at 2:41 pmA cousin of mine has Leukemia, it is all Bush’s fault. If Bush was never selected in 2000 She would be healthy. As for my car, If Bush was never elected I would of been able to get a new car since wages would of gone up dramatically. Bush ordered companies to keep wages low, thus I ncould not get a new car. I blame Bush for everything.
hi Trajan.

June 11th, 2009 at 2:42 pmWhy do you want to silence me, I blame Bush for all my problems.
I wonder if it is Bush’s fault that you got stick with that skanky chick in Kentucky? Was it?
June 11th, 2009 at 2:42 pmI also wonder how your cousin feels about you using her illness as an excuse to be a childish jackass… Maybe you just made that part up too sort of like that Latin King crap. Just another loser crying out for attention….
June 11th, 2009 at 2:44 pmIs this a new generation or mutation of troll? An ether troll? While GW bears a great deal of responsibility for many things, I don’t think leukemia is one of them.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:44 pmIt was either the skanky chick or his cousin but her dad beat him to it.

Old and familiar troll with a new handle. It has to be the old one because its shtick is so pathetic no other troll would ever copy it.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:45 pmI’m betting it was either the fault of either Bush, or dollar beers at the Roadhouse.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:45 pmok, you guys have fun, I have a 700 mile ride to prep for. headed to Pittsburgh for stepdaughter’s graduation
wish me luck headed thru WV, they probably won’t like the big “O” logo on the back rest of my bike

June 11th, 2009 at 2:48 pmCan you swing by Primanti’s for me?
dbadass,
I don’t know what you are talking about? My Cousin got Leukemia because Bush didn’t provide Healthcare to her. I blame Bush for her condition.
Who are the Latin Kings? Aren’t they a Flamenco band?
June 11th, 2009 at 2:48 pmNext thing you know, Rove will be denying that the Bush administration is responsible for the Iraq war.
Oh, wait…
June 11th, 2009 at 2:49 pmGreta asked the wrong question. Deficits add to the national debt. She should have asked if President Fu(k Face (h/t Les Grossman)has any responsibility for the approximately $4.898 T in debt the FF administration ran up during eight years of tax cuts for already wealthy and wars of choice.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:49 pmRove is, as always, a firm believer in the old saw: If you say anything over and over enough, it will become true. Just look at the eight years he was in power (wasn’t Georgie!).
June 11th, 2009 at 2:49 pmYou don’t suppose Twajie married that skank, do you? That would be really stupid.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:50 pmralph the wonder locust,
June 11th, 2009 at 2:50 pmKentucky? My wife is from Union City, New Jersey So I have no idea what you are talking about. I met my wife before Bush and I’m glad I did. If I had met her during Bush, we would be divorced and Bush would be to blame.
Sounds like the latest troll schtick is to claim they inherited stupidity from Bush. Or maybe it is just contagious.
If so quarantine is definitely recommended.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:51 pmBush is probably also to blame for Columbians being pussies…
June 11th, 2009 at 2:52 pmand old school hip hop sucking so badly…
June 11th, 2009 at 2:52 pmIf we took Rove’s illogical logic seriously, George Bush Senior would be responsible for Clinton’s surplus.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:54 pmRove’s influence on the Repubs is simple. Create whatever reality you need and simply repeat it until it becomes the truth. They have had too much success with it to stop now.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:56 pmdbadass,
June 11th, 2009 at 2:57 pmColombians ain’t pussy I can tell you that. They are no joke, I lived in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area back in the 80’s and I’ll tell you it was crazy. Go tell a Colombian he’s pussy and you wake up with a necktie. You really live in a fantasy.
As for rap, I’m not into that.
Hey Twajie, taking your new wife to Cabo, and meeting Sammy Hagar there, even though he’s in Ohio?
June 11th, 2009 at 2:57 pmRove is just a continuation of Lee Atwater. He’ll never give up or admit anything willingly. That’s why Conyers has to step up to the plate and demand the emails.
June 11th, 2009 at 2:58 pmExcept I seriously doubt that Rove will ever be capable of a deathbed confession.
June 11th, 2009 at 3:03 pmjjm Says:
What is to be done about Fox news and the Murdoch News Corp, who are Goebbelsian to an alarming degree?
I’m no anti-immigrant zealot, but it kind of bothers me that the political discourse in this country is being intentionally slanted by an Australian buying up all our media and then telling them to present crazy sh!t as if it were news.
.
Badmoodman Says:
- – From The CATO Institute, fer crissakes:
Hey yeah, you’d think that if the R’s really were going to reinvigorate their party by marching further to the right, shrinking their base and jettisoning all the “fake conservatives” – as dumb as that is – the only way to do it right would be to throw overboard the ones who were behind all of the spending during the Bush years, not to mention the ones who cynically played the evangelicals like a violin but delivered on none of their promises. Karl Rove should be enemy #1 to anybody who wants to play the “true conservative” game.
.

I’ll bite – stem cell research?
June 11th, 2009 at 3:03 pmhellina, we all know how Atwater ended. Wouldn’t wish that on anyone, but if Rove is following that play book so closely, well…
PEACE
June 11th, 2009 at 3:04 pmAnd with Rove’s response, yet another hole gets blasted in the theory that conservatives (or at least neoconservatives) truly believe what they say about the importance of taking personal responsibility for one’s behavior…
Oh, wait…of course! I forgot…how silly of me. Every time that the conservatives pontificate about this, what they really mean that everybody else needs to do this — but not them. How very convenient…
June 11th, 2009 at 3:05 pmWhat reality does this dumb shit actually live in?
That’s a legit question – anyone who knows the answer, hook me up.
June 11th, 2009 at 3:05 pmIt’s now clear that Rove has limited cognitive functionality.
June 11th, 2009 at 3:05 pmPerhaps he should be put to sleep.
ElBruce,
June 11th, 2009 at 3:08 pmYes, I bush allowed stem cell research there would be no diseases.
This is the problem with trying to have an honest debate with the republicans. They don’t deal with facts because they don’t want what is best for Americans. They want to win the argument any way they can so that they can continue to line their pockets with as much money as possible. Rove and his neo-con ilk are anti-American–period. Let’s stop treating these people as if they have something constructive to say for the benefit of our citizens.
June 11th, 2009 at 3:11 pmThis incarnation is no more interesting than all the others.

June 11th, 2009 at 3:11 pmVAN SUSTEREN: You realize there actually is a large rederal deficit, right?
ROVE: No.
VAN SUSTEREN: Are you feeling OK?
ROVE: No.
VAN SUSTEREN: Do you need to take a break? We can go to commercial…
ROVE: No.
VAN SUSTEREN: Alright well, Karl, let’s introduce the next story.
ROVE: No.
VAN SUSTEREN: OK… what do you want to do, Karl?
ROVE: I think I’m having a stroke. No No No No No No No No No…
VAN SUSTEREN: We’ll be right back.

June 11th, 2009 at 3:31 pmNo big surprise there.
June 11th, 2009 at 3:52 pmThis lying cretin and the rest of the Bush gang never took responsibility for anything that went wrong when they were in office….why would they do it now.
Curlew Says:
Luckily only about 30 percent of the public gets its “news” from the Faux network so 70 percent of us have a chance to know whats actually happening in the world.
Actually, I doubt that 30% of Americans get their “news” from Fixed. It’s probably more like 5%.

You forgot about his doubling the National Debt.
BTW, anyone besides me frustrated with the “your posting too fast” message that then blows away your post?
June 11th, 2009 at 4:02 pmElBruce:
OH YEAH! I’d forgotten all about that.
June 11th, 2009 at 4:03 pmBTW folks, good on you for ignoring the new ridiculous troll. It works to ignore them!
June 11th, 2009 at 4:06 pmShorter Rove: Everything we did was fairy tale story perfect.
What really happened: Train wreck with criminal intent.
And why is this traitor not in prison yet?

June 11th, 2009 at 4:47 pmThe illegal wars and occupations which started with the War Criminals Bush & Chenney and are currently continuing by Obama (Who now owns Bush’s War Crimes) are driving the US into bankrupcy.
June 11th, 2009 at 5:25 pmSo, KKKarl, it must be good sh*t.
June 11th, 2009 at 5:29 pmWhy would anyone believe anything that comes from this criminals lips anyway? Is this a surprise to any thinking person? KKKarl belongs behind bars.
June 11th, 2009 at 5:49 pmThe illegal wars and occupations which started with the War Criminals Bush & Chenney and are currently continuing by Obama (Who now owns Bush’s War Crimes) are driving the US into bankrupcy.
See we get left wing trolls too. Especially ones who don’t understand how war works or the US economy for that matter. STFU. Whining on a blog isn’t impressing anyone you tool.
June 11th, 2009 at 5:59 pmI suppose we really shouldn’t be surprised that the Bush administration (represented in this instance by Rove) is denying any and all responsibility for the budget deficits — not considering the fact that Dubya reportedly has something of a long record for doing this. Nearly every single business Dubya has ever been put in charge of has suffered under his management and been left significantly worse off at the time of his departure than it was when he assumed control — and to top it all off, he usually expected other people to clean up after the messes he made. It would appear that this is nothing more than par for the course where he’s concerned…

June 11th, 2009 at 7:36 pmThe Bush Administration turned out to be the Bart Simpson.
“I didn’t do it!”
“It wasn’t my fault!”
“Clinton did it too!”
“Congressional subpoena?, Eat my shorts!”
Enron, 9/11, anthrax attacks, war profiteering, politicizing the Justice Dept, Katrina, Jack Abramoff, Debt, lies, propaganda and an economic meltdown.
“I didn’t do it!”"It wasn’t my fault!”
June 11th, 2009 at 9:32 pmThis is the same Karl Rove that claimed Bush had no responsibility for not preventing the highly successful terrorist attack on 9/11 even when he was warned on Aug 6th that bin Laden was determined to strike inside the US and that FBI agents in Minneapolis and Phoenix warned about pilots not wanting to learn about how to land a commerical passenger jet. Bush screwed up so many things in such a big way many of us think he was the worst President ever. Now that takes some doing.
June 12th, 2009 at 7:29 amFCUK OFF AND DIE, YOU SCUMBAG PIG OF A HUMAN.
YOU’RE NO PATRIOT, YOU’RE A GODDAMN TERRORIST.
AND I CAN PROVE IT.
June 12th, 2009 at 9:47 amMORE lies from the peanut gallery.
June 12th, 2009 at 11:42 amKarl, the American people are NOT as stupid as you and the GOP think we are.
It’s interesting to consider that the only place right wing crazies publically reveal thier insanity is on FOX “News”, the only “news” station that won’t call them on their lies.
How did the land of the free and home of the brave ever spawn these crazies? What is the flaw in our national character that has resulted in these fascist whackos getting a voice on national television?
