It is not that antisemitism is associated with neocons, it’s that antisemites are conservatives, politically.

It’s kind of like when people say that “Not all antisocials are serial killers, but all serial killers are antisocials.”

One quick clarification, von Brunn did not actually post on the site (as near as I can tell). Rather, he posted the rant on a Norwegian site (for some reason). It was then discovered by a user of Free Republic and re-posted.

False assumption. There are elements in the party that have always viewed “mainstream” republicans as RINO’s, and contemptable. If now, they are motivated to violence because of Obama’s election, they are merely acting out impulses they always possessed, but previously kept suppressed. They have not moved from their political position of obstruction. It is simply another form of obstruction. Violent obstruction.

So then, is it your view that, for these individuals, the relationship between political affiliation and violent inclination is incidental rather than causal?

The mere fact that his posts exist on their site is confirmation enough, for all but those inclined to disregard, because of politically partisan leanings.

I might add that when a Becky fan uses the term “un-falsifiable”? It makes me laugh until I pee.

I never claimed to be a fan of Glenn Beck, nor did I claim that von Brunn was a “leftist”. I was merely trying to question the assumptions that Beck is a racist, and that von Brunn is “right wing”.

And, yes, your argument does seem to be tautologous. I would be interested in seeing those writings you alluded to, though, should they resurface. That would, at the very least, provide compelling evidence that von Brunn viewed himself as right wing.

But hey, if one wants to paint the killer of Stephen Johns as a “leftist”? I won’t argue. I’ve found it’s impossible to argue with people who are batscat crazy.

In the case of the beast who murdered Stephen Johns, his hate for the GOP is because he thought they had moved left and abandoned his racist ideals.

Do you see how utterly un-falsifiable this position is? If a person committing violence agrees with the GOP, it’s because GOP ideals encourage violence. If they disagree, it’s because the GOP “moved left”. One could easily adapt the argument to vilify the Democratic party, the Catholic Church, or the American Medical Association if one were so inclined.
