If Hannity actually did research, as opposed to reciting talking points, he would find that Ensign was a member of Promise Keepers.

Actually all Hannity needed to do on his time off was refrain from watching himself on TIVO and watch some real news somehere else.

Unfortunately I think you are right and that is the reason why TP doesn’t purge this site of useless, vile trolls.

There are many other ways to keep the hit count up, rather than encouraging trolls. One way would be to post the thread in reverse order, with the most recent replies at the top. The way they do it here, it kills a thread once it gets beyond 100 replies.

As far as a “sweet deal” to the UAW, I don’t think that having their salaries cut and benefits cut amounts to any kind of a “sweet deal”.

Anything that’s short of disbanding the union would be considered a sweet deal by wingnuts like him…

HANNITY: I’m not getting this. Explain to me and I’m wondering if you can’t keep the promise to your family, can’t keep your promise to your wife, you’re having an affair, you’re lying about the affair repeatedly, why should the American people trust you when you say you’re not going to lie to them? Why should we trust you?

(Should come as no surprise that Hannity was talking about John Edwards, not Ensign.)

Hannity, like many other political commentators, tell their audience what they want to hear. There is no consistency or rationale to their positions. His audience is very limited and most people do not take Hannity serious. He will continue doing what he does the best, BS’sing his way through a TV program so all the criticism will not change his positions. Think of Hannity like the Energizer Bunny; he keeps banging the drum without any real purpose.
