When the unemployment rate hits +10%, and that unemployment rate becomes persistent, and taxes rise, and over regulation occurs, and no Private Capital Formation leading to Private Sector jobs exists, then add in some Cap and Trade and Socialized Medicine, you basically have one heck of an Economic Train Wreck.

Your comprehension is that the only thing that would be happening would is that 50 million people would be added to the rolls and this would cost an extra $60 million per year, therefore $1200 per year savings.

But your comprehension is very shallow and leaves out a lot. The cost of the currently-covered 250 million people who choose the public option will be approximately cut in half. If 120 million of these choose the public option, their cost could drop from $7,000 each to $3,500 each, therefore saving $420 Billion. This is just an example, not an exact prediction, but anyone should be able to see what I mean.

Did you learn your math at the same place you learned your politics? $350 Billion divided by the 47 million who do not have anything, makes $7,446.80. This is more than any other country in the world pays! And the range is $350-$400 Billion annually. At the higher end of the range, it becomes $8,510.63. And you could increase the savings by including lower pharmaceutical costs (like the rest of the world).

The $350 million was from the alleged savings by paperwork reduction that was used to “sell” the misguided belief that everyone could be insured for $100 per month just by paperwork reduction.

I did not use $350 million to divide into anything.

The right has no poll numbers in their favor on reform because people aren’t convinced they have anything to offer. Even among 50% of republicans, broad support exists for the public option.

*Give bonus payments to groups who successfully ration healthcare and reduce costs

*Increase the cost sharing by the patients

*Tax current employer health care programs

So the two major ways to reduce costs are to reduce and ration healthcare, and to charge you a bigger share for doing so.

Yep, sounds like a wonderful plan to me. What really amazes me is all of the people who swallow this spoon fed drivel and nod and smile like those bobbleheads in the car windows at everything Obama says and does. It doesn’t take rocket science to see right through this stuff, just a little common sense and the ability to think for yourself. Guess that’s why most of the bobbleheads here don’t get it.
