How dare Arpaio enforce the laws of Maricopa county? Who does he think he is, Sheriff? You would think hetook an oath or something.

An excellent outlook on life, pete. One of the greatest things about going to school at this age is spending time with young people. Some of them are “late bloomers,” but more of them are just really great people. I enjoy being around them.

I always enjoy your comments, and usually learn something from them. :) I also enjoy the rare occasion when you go off on a troll. It’s truly a sight to behold!

Zooey,

I retired young and spent much of my career with younger employees and coworkers. And I have a voracious thirst for new data. Growing up I was taught to respect the newest data over old knowledge and have tried to avoid the trap of being caught within my generation.

And another part is that my parents were old enough to be my grandparents while my grandfathers served in WW1. So I was raised by people who were a generation older than most and then I spent much of my life with younger generations. So, I can mingle with people from anywhere or any age.

Just an FYI. I’m retired and have always been a nightowl. And yes. I collect Social Security, and a small union pension that I had to fight for, after a lifetime of paying in. My needs are adequately met and my modest luxuries are sufficient.
