Bachmann to speak at far-right How To Take Back America conference.
Until this year, the liberal group Campaign for America’s Future held an annual conference called Take Back America. Following the resounding victory for progressive change this past November, the conference was re-named America’s Future Now. But the Take Back America moniker didn’t stay dead for long. A coalition of far-right groups, led by Phyllis Schlafly’s Eagle Forum, is putting together a “How to Take Back America” conference in September. RightWingWatch reports that Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) has confirmed that she will speak at the conference. Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee is also speaking at the conference.

We concerned Minnesotans need help. I continue to ask TP to run stories on her and beg the readers to do what their conscience demands. I suggest writing your Reps and demanding censure. I do most every time she speaks.

Actually, there were liberals 50 years ago. They were the legislators who approved the New Deal, which included the WPA and CCC. Thank God for those programs, which helped lift my ancestors out of the poverty of the Great Depression, which Republican President Herbert Hoover did not one thing to alleviate. Thank you, FDR!

FDR was a true liberal in the best sense of the word. My now-dead parents often expressed gratitude for FDR’s presidency because they were young adults at the time of the Great Depression. Well, Eisenhower was the President. The last Republican who wasn’t out to ream the country for his corporate handlers. The guy who warned about the very cancer on the country today (the military/industrial complex). Too bad Nixon/Reagan/Bush was waiting in the wings. That’s when the “need” began in earnest. But there’s always been liberals, pal. This guy Jesus you all like to beat us over the head with was one.

You’ve made a number of threats over the past several months including a threat against President Obama. Several posters have saved evidence of these threats, and while I’m not the type to get involved in this sort of thing, others may have already sent that evidence to the authorities.
