I don’t like or trust Geithner. On the other hand, he admitted his mistake and payed the fines and survived the media storm.

Bible Spice, on the other hand, is running around proclaiming that “all the investigations have been dismissed” when she has been found liable and made payments to make the investigations go away. And then the media keeps repeating her lie that all charges were dismissed.

It’s a subtle difference but, I think, a significant one.

There was a time Ms. Palin when the Whitehouse would have insured these frivolous matters were not investigated. Times have changed and the Cheney/Bush machine has been put out into the street. You need a different mind set, the Republicans are not in power and it is not business as usual!

1) 2 years as governor in Alaska is adequate experience to be president.

2) She couldn’t hack 2 years as Alaska governor due to all the scandals, but 4 years of president of the US will be just all peachy-keen neat-o ?

If all the ethics charges are frivolous, why was she required to pay back money on two separate occasions? In my corner of the world if one is forced to repay monies it’s a sign of wrongdoing.

Per diem expenses are intended to reimburse State officials whose duties require them to travel and spend the night away from their own residence.

Seems that Palin has been charging the State of Alaska the maximum per diem she can for living in her house in Wasilla instead of in the Governor’s mansion which is in Juneau.

The mansion comes as a perk with the office at no charge and has to be paid for whether someone’s living there or not.

The Governor’s annual salary in Alaska is set at $125,000.00. Palin’s reimbursement checks for these bogus per diem charges have been cashed and exceed the amount of her salary.

This story isn’t really news, as you can find right wing idiots trying to defend Palin against these charges before the election was held last November. What’s new is the fact that the State has officially cited her for violating statutes governing what constitutes a valid per diem expense.

A legal action is in progress to force Palin to return those per diem fees she charged the State.

Unbelievable. As if Alaska just made Juneau its capital and she didn’t know that before running for governor 2 years ago.

Sarah Palin is such a fraud.
