Absolutely .The problem here is that as the economy flounders support for the administration will fold among swing state voters . Progressives are not all that happy with the administrations lack of energy in restoring the constitution and the adoption or continuation of many of the worst offenses of the Bush years in this area .
As for health care , when polled Americans overwhelmingly want single payer and have for decades No country who has adopted single payer has ever gone back yet it is never taken serious in Washington, the reasons being too obvious to mention .
