That’s not exactly accurate – groups like Irgun and Hadassah were already murdering Palestinians in the 1920s and 1930s.

I believe: It was the Jewish military superiority, aided by the U.S. in the Cold War and beyond, that stamped the Arabs and Palestinians so far into the dirt that they felt they had no choice but to become suicide bombers and carry out the terrorism they still do today, in order to save themselves.

Eh. If they really wanted to overcome, they’d follow King and Ghandi. I believe nobody wants to win. They just want to kill and be killed and go to ‘heaven’.

Any Jew who thinks his sand is sacred is insane. Any Palestinian willing to bomb him/herself for some sacred sand is insane. This will only stop the same way it stopped between Egypt and Israel–from the very top, at the Presidential levels of all countries involved.

Netanyahu’s rhetoric and actions do a great diservice to the people of Israel (Jew, Arab, and Druze alike)…Labour needs to withdraw from the government and shift power to Kadima (which, since falling from power and Obama taking over here) has given clear indication that they’d move to freeze settlements and work towards a just peace.
