For those of us unfamiliar with the prison system, what is “the federal governments most secure prison”? What officials banned the book? What is the source of the quoted paragraphs?

Not only the stigma of being convicted of a crime upon potential release, the fear of being raped, the violent subculture which almost guarantees gang affiliation, the inevitable grappling with the abject disenfranchisement that may impede upon rehabilition methods and as a consequence increase recidivism… but now.. they can’t even… read… the president’s.. books… speechless.

Oh please… Come up with another REAL reason than that lame excuse. Obama’s book is a bio of his life. You might as well as say to ban My Pet Goat that Bush was supposed to be reading [upside down] when the 9/11 attacks occurred. National security concerns for Obama’a book? No, they simply don’t want any books written by Obama to be read by the prisoners regardless if Obama written a cookbook. This smells personal and political reasons.
