When a person claims to be "PRO-LIFE", but is for the "DEATH PENALTY", they have a serious "DISCONNECT", on LIFE.
Their motto is: "BRING THEM INTO THE WORLD, SO WE CAN KILL THEM." There's something wrong with that "PICTURE."

There is something wrong with this picture. It’s completely missing an important piece of information.

Every preborn child who is aborted by its mother is completely innocence. Regardless of the reason for the abortion the preborn child – each one unique in the history of the world; has done nothing to deserve its fate.

To bit this seems to deny, "...the right to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness..."

This innocence is lacking in those who receive the death penalty as punishment for the crimes they have committed.

Hope this helps you understand.

You have to look outside this country for rational sex education. You can pretty much take your pick of European country and find that they have less abortion, less STD, less teenage pregnancy/parenthood, and less of just about any other negative stat you care to mention. Even many Third-World countries have better stats.

Why? Rational sex education in public schools and easy, often free, access to condoms and other birth control. If one claims to be anti-abortion then it's not possible to rationally restrict access to birth control. My own big idea is to simply put a condom dispenser in every public bathroom in the country and I'd make them free in public schools. Most would end up as water balloons but it's a small price to pay for such a huge public health benefit.

How many bloody acts of violence have been carried out in the US in the name of Christianity?

What occurs to me is the piece posted recently on Gawker about why people vote republican and the fact that resolution of misinformation only seemed to make the misinformation worse or more severe. Don't forget, we have evidence that basically states that these people believe what they want to believe, and with types like OR, they believe it VERY feverishly.

If you take and lock away Terry for what he and his followers undoubtedly view as "the truth," (regardless of how flawed the logic may be) you will be positioning Terry as a martyr for his cause and only making him more powerful. I don't want to see Americans, left or right, hurt by this radical, but really, the only thing you can do is wait him out, and let the cause crumble under the weight of its own hypocrisy.

pete says:

Well golly, bitty. Educating children to make responsible decisions is what sex education is all about. Unfortunately, the same sick freaks who scream about abortion are also dead set against any kind of comprehensive sex education as well. If all you Psychochristians would just STHU then abortion here would plummet, just as it has in more rational countries.

Educating children to make responsible decisions is what sex education is all about.

Really? When do you expect that there might a sign that the government sex education is actually working?

Unfortunately, the same sick freaks who scream about abortion are also dead set against any kind of comprehensive sex education as well.

This remark assumes facts not in evidence, but then again, the liberal TP posters haven't tried for accuracy in this thread have they?

The remark also assumes that all it takes is "comprehensive sex education." The extent to which values are taught in school is the same extent to which www.charactercounts.com teach values. Do you think getting your values from a website will instill as sense of importance? The culture has been teaching meaninglessness, and that's what it's getting in return - meaninglessness.

Like the scripture says: sow to the wind and reap the whirlwind.

Government sex education doesn't work because it doesn't involve the emotional and spiritual self. Seems someone in the government thinks covering the plumbing is all it takes or covering the plumbing is all that is legal.

The romantic image in the magazines in the checkout lines will easily override the teaching about the plumbing.

No, but my people do tend to be Rebels. Oh. that's right. The U.S. has a history of rebellion.

And, what was it Jefferson said about the rights of the people to overthrow a government?

Should bit read the above comments and understand that most TPers support the idea of black genocide - black genocide masquerading as a right from the U.S. government?

bit has previously posted links to US government statistics showing that more that 1/3 of all abortions are to women of color, and that in some states, Alabama specifically, 1/2 of all abortions are to women of color.

If this health bill, so-called, provides US taxpayer provided abortions, what do TPers think will be the response of impoverished women of color? Is this someone's idea of genocide? If so, it would be fitting because the beginnings of the abortion industry came from those interested in limiting the undesirables. See bit001.

Would it not be more just, and saner, to simply teach people to be responsible in their sexual expression?

What kind of people make their women, and their offsprings, the source of an industry devoted to killing? ( "Every time there is an abortion, something dies." - Al Gore) And as a consequence, death has a direct link to the US Treasury. This is intolerable, and it is unjust. It is unjust to force responsible citizens to pay for the abortion for either irresponsible or uncaring citizens. The more injustice the government perpetuates the more one should expect to see the end of the U.S.

    MAAFA 21 DVD
They were stolen from their homes, locked in chains and taken across an ocean. And for more than 200 years, their blood and sweat would help to build the richest and most powerful nation the world has ever known.

But when slavery ended, their welcome was over. America's wealthy elite had decided it was time for them to disappear and they were not particular about how it might be done.

What you are about to see is that the plan these people set in motion 150 years ago is still being carried out today. So don't think that this is history. It is not. It is happening right here, and it's happening right now.

Seriously, while I personally find abortion wrong, I would never seek to impose my view on any woman. If they choose to have one, then that is their own business. And since it is a medical procedure, logically medical insurance should help pay for it.

When you say you personally believe it's wrong, do you mean you feel you would be killing your child if you had it aborted?

Why are these domestic terrorists not being arrested?

A very good question with no easy answer. But part of the problem is that the DOJ, FBI, DHS and other relevant law enforcement, is still populated with Bush-bots who think anyone wearing a cross can't be a terrorist.

Cats R Flyin

I pulled this out of the "egg as human" article you posted. I personally think this line tells the tale just as effectively as the entire article managed to.

"Hanks' group Colorado Right to Life, whose long-standing feud with Focus on the Family founder James Dobson for not being anti-abortion enough is the stuff of local legend."

If you have a feud with FotF because they aren't anti-abortion enough, you're way past radical.
