Fox News directs viewers to town halls hosted by Democrats.

Earlier today, Fox News publicized the time and location of “gladiatorial” town halls hosted by Democrats — but not Republicans. With “heated” and increasingly confrontational town halls now dominating news coverage, Washington correspondent James Rosen announced he had “obtained a large Excel spreadsheet showing the schedule of town halls for Democratic members of Congress.” Rosen reported the time and location of several town halls, including those for Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) and Sen. Arlen Specter (D-PA). To explain why Fox wasn’t reporting on town halls hosted by Republicans, Rosen assured viewers that if he “had the spreadsheet for the Republican members,” he would “share” that as well:

Media Matters for America’s Jamison Foser was able to turn up a list of Republican town halls with a quick Google search: “Well, I like to help FOX out when I can, so here’s a list of town halls that includes Republicans.”

We need to look up and attend all of our representative’s town hall meetings, either Republican or Democrat. We cannot just sit here and let Republicans frame this debate. We cannot let Republicans go unchallenged in their town hall meetings.

Can we all say agents provocateurs and be done with it?

Fox is inciting to riot mind you. Remind anyone of the sixties when the right wing beat up hippies, protestors, anyone who didn’t agree with them?

I mean, Nixon had a whole shyte-load of people working as agents provocateurs–sanctioned by the FBI.

    Wow, deja vu.

  8. MapleStreet says:

Translation: We don’t have a spreadsheet for the repubs because we didn’t bother to make one like we did for the dems.

And I betcha even after getting one gratis, they don’t run it because they don’t read emails from libtards.

Can I also ask: an earlier thread had protestors breaking up a meeting by banging on windows, etc. It said many refused a police order to disperse. Isn’t that cause for arrest ? So why weren’t there arrests ?

And how do these astroturfed teabaged riots compare with protests that got the DFHs arrested at the repub convention ?

RepubliCONs gone wild need to be sent to JAIL. Please Democrats in Congress and Senate, start using your power and send these THUGS to jail. Arrest them!

It should be so hard to have rules at these meetings. Very simple. Robert rules of order. You have to raise your hand to ask a questions. Or you can stand in line and wait for a mike to ask a questions. If you disrupt the meeting, you are thrown out. If you do something illegal, you are sent to the paddy wagon and you get arrested.

It really is simple. Come on Democrats. Get it together!
You have the power to quiet these insurance industry hacks.

Come on.. Isn’t it obvious that Fox News, the Victor Frankenstein helper, is contributing to the wingnuts running wild at the Democrats’ healthcare reforms?

The corporate sponsors for Fox News need to pay attention to this because if any of the lawmakers speaking at the events or individuals attending these townhalls are physically harmed, best believe three fingers will be pointed to Fox News.

On a side note: I am glad that the lawmakers are getting creative by holding conference calls to their constituents on healthcare reform. The more of them, the better.

There is already a rumor in right wing freeperville that three SEIU “thugs” beat a black conservative so badly at a town hall that he had to be hospitalized. Of course the only place you can find reference to this rumor is on right wing websites. Suffice to say, I’ve now read an in depth summary of each of the three House bills and a brief summary of a draft of the Senate version. It’s important to note that there is no single consolidated Bill as of yet and they are very much in flux.

None of the draft bills has anything approaching a direct take over of medical care. It’s a myth made up of whole cloth. And the same can be said of the screeching about abortion funding, rationing, government mandates of care, euthanasia, and the return of smallpox.

As for your assessment of various political philosophies? All I can say is that it almost makes sense when a professional like Limbaugh tries it but your arguments don’t sway me from conventional wisdom and historical precedent. I appreciate your effort but your apparent worldview is so opposed to the reality that further discourse is probably futile.

I might add that libertarianism has lots of appeal but the events of the times argue against it. Many of the problems we face today are the direct result of placing those with the most to gain by cheating in charge of policing themselves. Human greed dictates that a certain percentage will abuse any system that provides an opportunity of enrichment and, unlike natural parasites, humans will gorge until they kill the host.

Anyone looking at the decades-long dismantling of effective regulation and the horrific results would be silly to conclude that less regulation is the cure. A call for less regulation, in the current climate, simply ignores reality.

  110. eigenVector says:

belaccifer lacca says: “And inheritance? Gone? Great! So everyone starts off equal, right?”

Nope. It is up to the individual who worked for his money to decide what happens to it when they die. Certainly not government. When government takes it, that means ‘government’ is entitled to it. In my world view Nobody is entitled to any other man’s property, but if a man wishes to give to charity, then that is 100% up to him. If a man wishes to give his earnings to the government, then that is 100% up to him. If a man wishes to give all his money to his heirs then that is 100% up to him. It is his to enjoy as he pleases because it is he who has worked for it.

Now you may say, but the person who is ‘given money’ did not earn it. But they received it from someone who willingly gave it to them. They did not receive it as extortion from someone else. They did not receive it by use of force.

  111. belaccifer lacca says:

Ahh, but now we’re back to an uneven playing field, aren’t we? I thought that ‘Man is not entitled to anything except the right to his own life and his own pursuit of happiness.’

    Right?

  112. pete says:

A common misconception of the authoritarian mind is that a wise person “chooses to believe”. In fact, once one “chooses to believe”, one has closed their mind. A wise person questions, then learns, then decides. “Belief” doesn’t even enter the equation.

Oh, and one more thing nutcases: Shouting down my question at a townhall meeting isn’t exercising your freedom of speech. Its denying me that right. Remember, “The right for you to swing your fist in the air, ends where my nose begins.” -Thomas Jefferson.

    Oh, wait….

  114. eigenVector says:

@belaccifer lacca: “Ahh, but now we’re back to an uneven playing field, aren’t we? Right?”

No, I never said anything about an even playing field. All I said was a man has a right to his ‘own’ playing field, and that playing field is the field that he creates for himself. The man who receives charity is a man who was given it to him by a man who has worked for it, and not from a man who has extorted it from someone else, or from government.

Okay… what do we do about the Black Hills and all the gold that’s come out of there?

It’s pretty clear that that was taken from the Sioux by force… should the government step in now to redress the grievance? That is their ‘proper’ role, right?

Okay, my answer is yes. The

  118. WAYNEBRO says:

When they’re arresting Rupert Murdoch (Murdoch, wasn’t that always McGyver’s arch nemesis?) for inciting riots and violence, THEN I’ll watch Fox news.

That oughta be a good show.

  119. Buckie Boy says:

It would be a shame is when they leave the Town Hall Meetings that their tires didn’t seem to be holding air anymore…a real crying shame.

Now you bring up a GREAT question. One that splits me on half! Gosh I love these kinds of discussions

Okay, my answer is yes. The government should step in and return to the Sioux of the day what was theirs. Now we come to a problem because the government at the time did not do it’s job! The government of the day should have! However, the Sioux of the day do not exist today. Their descendants do, but they are not ‘entitled to it’ because it was not passed down to them. Whether it would have been or not, is speculation. But, it was not the Sioux who mined for the gold. It wasn’t until the late 1800s when the gold was found. The land was taken from the owners, so the land should be returned to those owners. The gold was mined by the legal owners of the day.

However: If the Sioux of today have proof that they have a contract with the prior Sioux that they shall inherit the property, then yes, the land and all the resources stolen from the land must be returned to them.

  121. eigenVector says:

jpreston says: “Sorry. They don’t like what you have to say here.”

I’m not. I have no opinion on what they like or don’t like. That’s for them to decide and not me.
I’m pretty sure my posts will be shot down. But I’m only here for my own entertainment, not to keep my posts ‘alive.’

I post on other sites and they just flag them as ‘under moderation’ and never come back to them. But hey, it’s fun and entertaining. And I enjoy the feedback: the good, the bad and the ugly :)

    Thanks!
    G’nite all!

  122. belaccifer lacca says:

If the Sioux of today have proof that they have a contract with the prior Sioux that they shall inherit the property, then yes, the land and all the resources stolen from the land must be returned to them.

If someone dies intestate their children inherit.. all they need to prove is they are the descendants of the original legal owners, right?

The land was not mined by the ‘legal owners’ of the day… if you agree that the Sioux were the legal owners those who took over after the land was stolen from the Sioux cannot by that theft, right?

  125. belaccifer lacca says:

What’s wrong? Have you been told not to talk about this? No talking points yet. Haven’t recieved the spin for this incident yet?

    http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/news/stories.nsf/nation/story/5420430FDF2036F08625760B00136BBC?OpenDocument

Seems people were arrested… those who got out of hand and violent on both sides should be prosecuted… seems like that’s what’s happening.

What about those who refuse to defuse these situations? Like the head of FreedomWorks… what to do with them?

  126. belaccifer lacca says:

    jpreston says:
Maybe you would like to talk about how you filled the hall with Blue Shirts through the back door and closed everyone else out because there wasn’t enough room in the hall.

Is it only a ‘first amendment right’ when the people in the room are Republicans???

  127. belaccifer lacca says:

    jpreston says:
How many were put in the hospital and ruffed up and by who?

Seems like that’s what we’re finding out… do Union members not have a right to assemble?

  128. belaccifer lacca says:

We are talking about the Blue Shirts and what you did.

“Rambo’s” first blood. You can try and change the subject. No talking points yet?

Huh. I didn’t do anything. What’s the Rambo nonsense about???

    Are you advocating violence?

  129. belaccifer lacca says:

The ones organized by the left and who were instructed on how to block the media on what they see.

Is it only ‘free speech’ when people are instructed by the right?

And I don’t mean ‘blue shirts,’ That’s your ridiculous phrase. I mean what I say.

What do you mean by “Rambo’s” first blood?

    Are you advocating violence??

  130. belaccifer lacca says:

Again, how many people have been put in the hospital and by who?

    Keep dodging the question.

No- I haven’t. Let’s see the police report… do you have one? Are you advocating violence? I am not.

    You keep dodging the question.

  131. belaccifer lacca says:

What did you mean by “Rambo’s” First Blood?

  132. belaccifer lacca says:

No but the left did and carried it out.

Where is the left advocating violence?

  133. belaccifer lacca says:

    jpreston says:
Can’t comment on what happened. I’m not surprised. Hypocrite.

I have commented repeatedly… I have said let’s find out who’s responsible and prosecute them.

What did you mean by “Rambo’s” First Blood?

  134. belaccifer lacca says:

    From your link:

Don’t get into a shouting match with them. Instead, prep people on our side to keep raising the questions that we want answered. Repetition is the key. We need to arm our side with questions that play to the strengths of our message and make sure we keep bringing them up over and over so that the press recognizes those central themes.

    Where’s the violence advocated?

What did you mean “Rambo’s” First Blood???

  135. belaccifer lacca says:

    jpreston says:
By their actions when they beat up a guy outside the town hall meeting.

I posted the link. It’s also all over youtube. They arrested the reporter who filmed it but there are too many camera phones out there.

I posted the report from the reporter arrested… where in that story does he say that the ‘left’ was organizing a violent response?

    No where.

What did YOU mean when YOU said “RAMBO’S” First Blood???

  136. belaccifer lacca says:

You were hoping that the first blood would be drawn by the Anti-healthcare protesters.

No- I was hoping there would be no blood.

We don’t need violence… we have the facts on our side.

I think ANYONE who is violent or ADVOCATES any VIOLENCE needs to be arrested… how can I be clearer?

  137. belaccifer lacca says:

Interesting that you admit you’re anti-healthcare though… very interesting.

Also interesting that you refer to a Rambo movie to make your supposed point about non-violence…

Ghandi and King are my models.

  138. Trollspotter says:

No offense, jpreston, but it sounds to me like you invoked the First Blood movie as a means of justification.

Because the Democrats supposedly drew “first blood” here, it will now be perfectly justified for Jack Bauer, er, I mean Rambo, to kill as many on the left as possible. That’s the essence of what you’re saying, no?

“I’ll give you a war you won’t believe.”

  139. belaccifer lacca says:

I’m a peaceful man but it seems that the Lefts Hired Organized Union Thugs are not.

Okay, now you have to show who ‘hired’ these people… I’ll wait.

I doubt you will find that they are on anyone’s payroll, let alone the ‘left’s’

  140. flavorino says:

If the lunatic fringe is allowed to disrupt and cancel out the political discourse over health insurance the inmates will end up running the asylum…..

and health industry executives will be laughing all the way to the bank.

  141. belaccifer lacca says:

What’s more telling is that you haven’t gotten the talking points for this yet and you vane attempt to change the subject is feeble.

I never receive the talking points… can you tell me where to submit my email address?

I have said that those who commit or advocate violence at these meetings should be prosecuted, left or right.

I’m still curious how you know these were ‘hired thugs?’

Of course, if you can prove the the Union was advocating violence, I’m right there with you in calling for prosecutions… nothing you’ve posted so far does this… in fact, it seems to show the opposite.

  142. belaccifer lacca says:

    Piss-ant changing the subject.

    Typical.

    Change the subject hypocrite.

Have anything other than insults and vague threats? No?

    Typical.

  143. tombaker says:

    forget it jpreston

the whole stupid endeavor is blowing up right in the ‘baggers faces

they’re an embarrassment, as are most american “conservatives”

dull-witted lackeys sticking up for the over-privileged, and lobbying hard against their own best interests

man up and get over it, ya crybaby

  144. Trollspotter says:

jpreston, if you’d be so kind as to answer my question at #159? Thanks.

  145. belaccifer lacca says:

    The unions hired them.

They may be union members… that’s very different from the union ‘hiring them to beat up people and put them in the hospital.’

    I read your link.

I posted the relevant bit… about not ‘getting into shouting matches and staying calm.’

Does that sound like advocating violence to you?

Wanna call me a piss-ant again? It really makes your case look strong!

  146. tombaker says:

    pfffft.

    you’re a joke preston
and a poorly crafted one at that

(probably written by a scab comedy writer)

  147. belaccifer lacca says:

I posted no vague threats and the words are discriptive and they only are insults if they don’t apply.

    You’re a real winner, aren’t you?

  148. Trollspotter says:

    jpreston says:

We are talking about the Blue Shirts and what you did.

    “Rambo’s” first blood.

See, the way I remember that movie is after Rambo is wronged, we’re supposed to root for him to kill as many of the other side as possible. Aren’t they cops? Can’t remember. I know David Caruso’s in it.

Anyway, jpreston, help me out with this analogy of yours. Are you saying you’ll be rooting for liberals to get shot? For pissing off the mighty Rambo, how many libs do you think deserve to die?

Honest question here. I’d really like to know how violent this future is that you’re so excited about seeing.

  149. Trollspotter says:

Nice try at what? It’s your analogy. I want to understand where you’re going with it.

  150. belaccifer lacca says:

Where have I said that violence was okay, jpreston?

Where have I said that I hoped for any violence?

From the blog you copied the above nonsense from:

Time to Stand and Fight Back
The violence has begun folks, it will only get worse from here. There will be blood. Which, sometimes is necessary; sometimes confrontation must happen to evoke true change. Gird your loins.

If you care going to attend a town hall, a tea party event, or anywhere else to protest anything Obama is doing, be prepared:

    Make certain there are plenty of video cameras among the protestors;
Use the heavies in the movement (there are always some — guys exactly like me) as a flying shield against the aggressors. We’re not going to attack, but we’re not going to do some Ghandi number either.
Be prepared for worst, this includes, first aid and ambulance calls, not to mention lawyers for lawsuits.
Think ahead — The enemy will attack with fists. When that doesn’t work, they will use clubs. After that, as they become increasingly desperate, I wouldn’t begin to speculate.
No one will help us, least of all the Republican party. The authorities will always be late if they are available at all.
And don’t forget the second amendment, and that many states have “stand your ground” laws. In May of 2007, Senate Bill 378 authorized Texans to legally defend themselves with deadly force in many instances without first having to retreat.

Obama has declared war. It’s time to let him know that we’re not going to back down.

That seems unnessarcarily inflammatory to me… much like yourself.

  151. belaccifer lacca says:

You do realize that this URBAN GROUNDS blogs reporting of the events is not gospel, right?

And that the reporter who was actually arrested has a different account?

Who do you expect will be more accurate?

  152. belaccifer lacca says:

You don’t want to understand anything. You are just dodging my post. No talking points yet.

You keep saying this… it’s almost as if you have nothing else to say… why is that?

  153. Trollspotter says:

Hey, the taglines for First Blood are kinda interesting:

    One war against one man.

This time he’s fighting for his life.

    A one man war.

Is that how you feel these days, jpreston? It seems a lot of people are feeling desperate and outnumbered and persecuted. Which means maybe, they have no choice but to “fight back.” You know, the way that hero of yours Rambo did.

    There’s always a choice, though.

  154. belaccifer lacca says:

Why won’t any of you comment on what happened? Really, you must have an opinion about the left attacking a black man.

    Can you read?

I’m against violence. I’m against advocating violence. I want those responsible for acts of violence on ALL sides of this issue to be prosecuted.

    Can you read this?

  155. belaccifer lacca says:

So you condone the actions of the Purple Shirts SEIU union thugs.

So you can’t read. That explains it.

  156. Trollspotter says:

    jpreston says:

You don’t want to understand anything.

That’s not true. I genuinely want to know the meaning of your choice of First Blood as a way of describing this situation.

    jpreston says:

You are just dodging my post.

Actually, I asked you my question before you asked me yours, but whatever.

I think it’s unfortunate, as there’s no call for physical violence on either side. It’s the responsibility of both sides to keep things cool.

  157. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

“Rambo’s” first blood. You can try and change the subject. No talking points yet?

Gee, I don’t know how to break this to you chief, but the term ‘First Blood” did not originate with the movie Rambo.

  158. belaccifer lacca says:

Great! Now comment on the fact that it was a leftist, Organized group, bussed to the Meeting, given special treatment by the Democratic party, and commited violence.

Can you show that the Union was advocating violence? ‘Cause everything you’ve posted so far FROM the Union shows the opposite… weird.

  159. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

It seems that the first person put into the hospital over this was a black republican. He was put there by SEIU union thugs. You know, Obama’s blue shirts.

Well I watched the video and from what you can tell from the video you can’t tell who threw the first punch troll, so as usual you’re just lying.

On another note, I can’t help but notice that as soon as the liberals in this video stood up to your “angry mob”, the big brave republicans started crying and calling for the police.

Yesterday you clowns were in here bragging about how liberals won’t show or stand up to you.

Now we see that like most bully’s, as soon as someone stands up to you, you guys run like cowards.

    :D

So much for the big brave republican protesters.

  160. tombaker says:

if people show up at a town a hall with the intention of obstructing and preventing it, and have only screaming to contribute, they shouldn’t be shocked when they’re manhandled out of the way, and that’s all the treatment they’re due.

they’re lucky they didn’t get tasered and hauled off to jail.

There were 6 arrests at another TH recently, and once the message is out that mobs will be dealt with, the whole thing will blow over like the dandelion fluff it is.

(except for some wild-eyed righty killing someone – that’ll still happen somewhere for sure)

  161. belaccifer lacca says:

Huh. I’v watched it twice… I see an altercation and people trying to get the police’s attention… I fail to see an organized effort to attack people… nothing looks organized at all, really.

    You seeing things?

  162. WAYNEBRO says:

Got your asses kicked and cried to the police.

No doubt we’ll be seeing more of this, because most people probably aren’t going to put up with your bullying tactics.

  163. belaccifer lacca says:

    I made my point.

Ahh, good. We’ve reached the stage where you declare ‘victory’ and go home… well done.

When you are ready to talk about the issues like an adult you can come back, bye now!

  164. WAYNEBRO says:

Here, for anyone who wants a good laugh, here’s the big brave republican protesters crying to the police and cowering from the same crowd they tried to harass and intimidate.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dqpfU_AC7Ls

    Yea, real tough guys.

    :D

  165. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

So the attack was just fine by you. Interesting.

I could care less if everyone of your bully protesters gets their asses kicked.

When you go looking for trouble you usually find it.

  166. tombaker says:

preston – you and your ilk are pathetic, unrepentent crybabies, for whom “working the ref” comes second nature

craven competitors from the opening whistle – you cheat, then claim you’ve been cheated out of thin air. you’re pansies who cry foul when at last they taste a little of their own bitter medicine

the “game” you’re clumsily trying to play here is as old as the hills, and as shop-worn as a sunset strip tranny hooker. it’s especially sad and shameful the way you delight in “workin’ it” when it’s something that couldn’t be more cliche. exactly what turnip truck did you just hop off, to think anyone here would buy your sad little story for even a second?

man up and move on – life’s too short to spend it the way you are.

  167. belaccifer lacca says:

Another dodge. You are not capable of talking about the issues. You dodge pretty good though.

Are you capable of reading? When will you show me where this was an organized effort to attack this man by the Union?

    I’m waiting…

You did link to a web-site encouraging RIGHT WING ACTIVISTS to arrive armed at these meetings, however. Interesting…

  168. belaccifer lacca says:

You did link to a web-site encouraging RIGHT WING ACTIVISTS to arrive armed at these meetings, however. Interesting…

Correction… you posted an unattributed quote… there was no link… I had to find it myself.

Can you find a union page advocating the same?

  169. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

Another dodge. You are not capable of talking about the issues. You dodge pretty good though.

Listen to the whiny little troll.

Big bad tough republican “tea-baggers” out shouting down every liberal meeting they can find, and now the little sissy is in here crying about “talking about the issues”.

    Newsflash punk.

When you stop your bully tactics of shouting down meetings then come talk to us about “talking about the issues”.

Until then, we’ll be looking for more videos on YouTube of republican rioters getting their assess handed to them.

  170. tombaker says:

so righty j. preston the 3rd isn’t a staunch advocate of Law and Order??

wtf stripe of conservative do you fraudulently claim to be??

it sounds like you’re the 8-pounds-of-shit-in-a-5-pound-sack type to me.

  171. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston the little worm says:

WAYNEBRO favors violence. He’s not afraid to tell how he feels. How about violence on a black man minding his own business handing out flags on the sidewalk obstructing no one?

    Quit lying troll.

I said I could care less what happens to pieces of sh$t like you.

    Learn to read troll.

  172. WAYNEBRO says:

You guys want to go out and try to harass and intimidate liberals and act like thugs?

Then don’t come crying to us when you get back what you put out.

  173. The Republic of Stupidity says:

    jpreston says:

How about violence on a black man minding his own business handing out flags on the sidewalk obstructing no one?

Sorry, but the video i saw of that wasn’t very conclusive or convincing.

Spin away, Li’l Feller… spin away.

  174. WAYNEBRO says:

    Listen to the troll whine.

Big bad tough republican’s want to stir up trouble and harass and intimidate others.

Then when someone stands up to them?

    They whine like little wimps.

  175. belaccifer lacca says:

    Watch the video.

Done. Three times. It don’t show what you say it shows. At all.

Show the SEIU advocating violence. It’s not on that video, that’s for sure… and it’s not on the website you linked to… as I’ve already posted that memo encourages people to stay calm and not engage in shouting matches… do you read your own links? Are you watching a different video?

  176. tombaker says:

sod off – and watch your party rot

i’m watching the video of the brooks brothers riot.

    and after that, Matewan.

  177. belaccifer lacca says:

sod off – and watch your party rot

i’m watching the video of the brooks brothers riot.

    and after that, Matewan.

This one thinks that John Sayles is where you get a good deal on a toilet… he has no ability to reason or relate to anything but ‘Rambo’s’ First Blood, unfortunately.

  178. belaccifer lacca says:

    jpreston says:
    You make me sick.

    The feeling is mutual.

Have anything showing the UNION leadership advocating violence in any way, yet?

Didn’t think so… do you understand your own argument?

    Didn’t think so.

  179. The Republic of Stupidity says:

    jpreston says:

Which thugs are you talking about?
    ___________

    No, no… you’re confused… AGAIN.

Heh… you just gotta be ***YOU***, huh?

He was referring to the Rent-a-Brownshirts the Republican operatives have been bussing in, to deliberately disrupt and intimidate. You know, the ones who get their marching orders from Glen Beck.

  180. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

Well well well, if it isn’t my old friend jpreston. I see you are bringing your fascism back yet again. I look forward to humiliating you yet again.

Apparently the fascist theocratic Republicans want violence. I suspect they are going to get it.

  181. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpusston says:

You mean the citizen minding his own business far away from the Town Hall meeting handing out flags or the disabled guy with tubes hanging out of him being slammed against the wall because they were closing the door, or the business man who was assaulted and beaten and had his shirt ripped.

Which thugs are you talking about?

No, the scumbag protesters who got it handed back to them on the video you referred us to.

    Didn’t you watch it troll?

  182. The Republic of Stupidity says:

    jpreston says:

Don’t worry though, he will be on the TV lying thru his teeth and the video will show what a liar he is.
    ___________

You’re an idiot. I feel sorry for you. Oh, and a hypocrite too.
    ___________

    Whoa… CLASSIC projection.

  183. belaccifer lacca says:

jpreston, a question… why are you dodging my request for you to find some evidence of the Union advocating violence of any kind?

    It’s a puzzle.

  184. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

I’m not surprised that you can’t see what happened. It’s tough with a closed mind.

Don’t worry though, he will be on the TV telling his story and the video backs him up.

You’re an idiot. I feel sorry for you. Oh, and a hypocrite too

No, your mother was an idiot for not aborting you when she had the chance.

As for the video, we saw it and the video doesn’t show anything that you claim it shows.

What it does show, is that people are getting fed up with the republicans running around threatening everyone.

What it does show, is what happens when a group of thugs goes running around the country trying to bully and intimidate people.

Keep looking for trouble, and trying to stir people up to anger, and chances are you’ll get exactly what you put out.

  185. tombaker says:

    i’m glad you’re sick, jpreston

i hope it lasts through the weekend.

and keep right on with the crazy righty jabber – it only pushes more independent minded people over to the D’s anyway.

you’re the Left’s best recruiting tool.

    and fundraiser.

    (and punching bag)

  186. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

Fascism = SEIU Purple Shirts = Democratic party = assaulting citizens

Fascism is a right wing ideology, not a left wing one.

And you do realize you’re in a thread about neocon scumbags calling up the SEIU and threatening to SHOOT them, right?

  187. WAYNEBRO says:

Now I know why the right wing is so big on gun rights and so afraid of losing their guns.

    :|

Because the only time these cowards are really “tough” is when they’ve got a gun in their hand.

  188. WAYNEBRO says:

Sorry, the SEIU thread is one over. This one is about FOX NEWS rallying these protesters around the country to go and attack and harass liberals.

Wonder if FOX will be held accountable when someone really gets hurt at one of these things?

  189. belaccifer lacca says:

You people don’t get it. You guys blew it. Obama’s job approval rating is 50 %. You pissed the people off this time.

Okay, we’ll see you in 2010 when the economy is turned around and these health care reforms have started to work for people!

    Good luck!

You guys are gonna need it.

  190. Trollspotter says:

jpreston, if there’s one thing I’d like you to take away from this, it’s that by trolling here you are hoping to provoke. You want there to be more violence instead of less. It’s irresponsible.

I would invite you to think about how many ways everyone you and I know and love will suffer. If it goes from bad to worse and there’s rioting in the streets, just take a moment and think about all the ways it could play out and how bad it could go. If you could do that with honesty, and think about wanting to spare your loved ones that horror, maybe you wouldn’t be trolling here. Maybe you’d be helping people to calm down and not trying to rile them up.

  191. ralph the wonder llama says:

    This troll’s got some stamina.

Not much in the way of game. Or style. Or even intellectual capacity.

But he’s got stamina. Particularly when it comes to the “it’s true because I say it is X infinity” gambit.

  192. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

You people don’t get it. You guys blew it. Obama’s job approval rating is 50 %. You pissed the people off this time.

    Oh we get it troll.

We get that you’re the same troll that’s been in this blog since day one, paid (or volunteer) by the RNC to sit here and do what the town hall meeters do. Shout down the discussion and sow right wing talking points.

We also get that if you keep running around threatening people, telling everyone how “pissed off” you are, that you’re going to end up trying to bully the wrong guy or guys.

Just like we saw in the video, where one of your tea baggers got back what he was putting out.

  193. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

    jpreston,

You and your fascists are exposed to every American. You can pretend that Democrats are bussing people in, when there is overwhelming evidence that it is the wingnuts that are bussing in brownshirts.

You and your fascist movement are doomed to failure, regardless if you use violence or not. They is why you are resorting to violence now, it is your last resort.

You know your party is finished, and still try to defend the indefensible. It’s time to start rounding up these fascist wingnuts and imprison them for as long as possible.

  194. ralph the wonder llama says:

    Trollspotter says:
jpreston, if there’s one thing I’d like you to take away from this, it’s that by trolling here you are hoping to provoke. You want there to be more violence instead of less. It’s irresponsible.

I would invite you to think about how many ways everyone you and I know and love will suffer.

Oh, Trollspotter, that’s an admirable approach, but one that will be completely wasted on the right-wing troll.

I suppose he may actually HAVE some loved ones, but it’s clear he’s unable to empathize with any of them, which is what you’re asking.

“Empathy” is a dirty word to them these days, doncha know.

  195. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

Someone already did. It was done by you leftists.

    I said “really hurt” troll.

The big republican pu$$y got knocked down.

He got a little “boo boo”.

And and the rest of the “angry republican protesters” there cried like he’d been killed or something.

I always knew you guys were pu$$y’s.

You know how you can tell?

It’s always the group who goes around telling everyone how tough they are.

They always turn out to be the pusses.

  196. tombaker says:

  197. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

    WAYNEBRO says:

    A phone call.

A phone call threatening to murder people.

Something that’s actually happened recently, in that church where a neocon went in and murdered people because they were “liberals”.

You guys are punks. Cowards and punks.

You’re out in force, screaming like raving fools, threatening people and shouting down liberal speakers, and all over the fact that you “good Christians” are so damned petty, stingy and selfish that you can’t spare a few of your measly tax dollars to give to the poor.

And when someone stands up to you?

Like most bullies you immediately start blubbering and calling for help.

This is “Think Fast”. All subjects are allowed.

    Uhh, actually it’s not.

Any word on that link to the UNION advocating violence in any way yet?

It’s just that you seemed so sure that it existed…

  200. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

    jpreston,

Even if a wingnut got the crap beat out of him, it does not justify the violent confrontations the GOP and you yourself are advocating. It is irrational to blame all the Democrats because a wingnut was injured. You crazy fascist theocratic Republicans are begging to get physically pummeled much like the way you were pummeled at the polls.

  201. WAYNEBRO says:

Can you man up and find that link?

    That’d be great… thanks.

  203. WAYNEBRO says:

    Well troll?

    I’m waiting.

    Was what a threat?

    Show us a “threat”.

  204. The Republic of Stupidity says:

    Stupid and closed minded.
    ___________

    Whoa… CLASSIC projection… AGAIN…

Sorry, dude, but yer a loooooooser.

More than one of us have looked at that video today. It simply does NOT show what you keep claiming it does. it doesn’t even come close to supporting the spin you’re so desperately trying to sell here.

belaccifer lacca asked you why are you dodging his request for you to find some evidence of the Union advocating violence of any kind?

Since you have NONE, you just duck it. It’s not like that teabagging fool in Texas twittering about bringing guns to town halls, is it?

Sooooooooo… since you have nothing to back up your silly claims, you resort ot name calling and petty insults:

“Go look at my posted links piss-ant.”

“You’re an idiot. I feel sorry for you. Oh, and a hypocrite too.”

    “Stupid and closed minded.”
    ____________

So sorry, Li’l Feller… but that’s pretty much admitting you got NO GAME

    NEXT!!!!!!!

  205. tombaker says:

pissed the people off this time

    um, jpreston?

are all the people balding, paunchy white men with trucker caps, and their ratty-haired, house-dressed bluehaired opposite-gendered counterparts?

i know i don’t get out much, but when i do i only see one or two people like that around town, and a fair # of those have Obama stickers on their cars.

(is this one of those role-playing games, where we’re working in a different “world”?)

if so, i apologize for berating you.

but seriously, where do you live, that those are “the people”? Waco? One of its “suburbs”?

  206. WAYNEBRO says:

    Well troll?

I’m still waiting. Feel free to produce the “threat” or admit that you’re even a bigger pu$$y than we all assumed.

  207. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

    jpreston,

Why are you surprised people might want to threaten you? You are a fascist traitor, and threaten the security of the Unites States of America. You are lucky Democrats are nice enough not to have you hung for your treason.

If I were you I would stop trying to provoke people, because if you succeed, you could end up getting exactly what you are asking for.

  208. The Republic of Stupidity says:

Man… Teh Stupid just flows like wine w/ this one…

***TRoS leaps to his feet and applauds wildly***

You are truly a Troll’s Troll.

  209. WAYNEBRO says:

    http://thinkprogress.org/2009/08/07/fox-directs-viewers/

Does that look like the ThinkFast thread to you?
No wonder you can’t interpret your own video link…

  211. WAYNEBRO says:

    Levi the Dungbeetle says:

    jpreston,

Why are you surprised people might want to threaten you?

    No one threatened him.

No one even remotely threatened him.

No one even said “boo” to him.

He apparently is delusional, or a liar.

    :|

    Or both.

  212. The Republic of Stupidity says:

    jpreston says:

    More projection.

He’s got nothing, boys. He’s gonna go on like for HOURS… until Mummy comes home and kicks him off the dial-up.

  213. The Republic of Stupidity says:

It would also seem he can’t read either.

  214. belaccifer lacca says:

No wonder you can’t interpret your own video link…

Or rather, you can interpret it… you’ve been ‘interpreting’ it for hours and rather creatively… let me know when you recognize that this is NOT the ThinkFast thread and then we can discuss what constitutes ‘advocating of violence by the union’ okay?

  215. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

jpreston wants people to threaten him. That is part of the strategy of this whole astroturf campaign. The fascist theocrats want to instigate as much violence as they can, so they can claim Democrats started it, and then they will all attack innocent Americans on all fronts.

The fascist theocrat Republicans are planning to start a civil war, mark my words.

  216. WAYNEBRO says:

    Well come on “jpreston” troll.

    Come on, don’t quit now.

Lets see some more of that bogus smuggery you were so freely exhibiting before.

Let’s here some more of your mocking of everyone and your right wing nonsense.

  221. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

jpreston, if you want people to threaten you, just say so. I am sure we could all come up with various threats we would love to carry out on you, and the rest of your ilk. We want to keep our democracy intact, and you seem to want to tear it apart because you aren’t in the majority anymore.

Get over it. You lost, and you lost big. The future of the GOP looks grim as more and more Americans come to realize how soulless you, and those you represent, really are.

You fascist theocrats are out of power for at least a generation, and if you think violence is going to change that, then bring it on. I for one would love to stop typing and take out the trash.

  222. WAYNEBRO says:

    Here.

    I’ll predict it again.

Just like your father used to tell you (in between tapping the prostitute next door and swilling down Pabst Blue Ribbon), if you go looking for trouble, sooner or later you’re likely to find it.

If you go out to harass and intimidate people, don’t be surprised if they start standing up to you.

    :|

    Don’t like it?

    Don’t go looking for it.

  223. tombaker says:

I’m telling my mom that you’re a stink, jpreston!!

    AND A BUTT!

(this is like having pee wee herman do a troll cameo)

  224. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

    jpreston,

What leftist purple shirts? Please provide some evidence that there were any purple shirts involved.

As for you flagging someone for threatening you, who cares? You deserve to be threatened, and for those threats to be carried out.

As for me being an idiot, you are welcome to your opinion in this country, but ignorance cannot be used as a defense at your treason trial.

  225. Trollspotter says:

    ralph the wonder llama says:

    Yeah. It’s disappointing for sure.

When I was a kid, I never once imagined that the land I loved would someday have millions of people in it fighting hard to make “empathy” a dirty word.

Doesn’t look think they’re winning that fight, though.

  226. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

He did threaten me and I FLAGGED his post and reported it to the moderators.

    WHAT??????

You are a liar. I did not threaten you in any way, shape or form.

  227. WAYNEBRO says:

If you go out to harass and intimidate people, don’t be surprised if they start standing up to you.

    Another threat kido?

    How is that a threat?

  228. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

    jpreston,

I realize it is difficult for you to be honest, it is not in the nature of a fascist to worry about the truth, but can you at least admit that Republicans are using Nazi style brownshirt tactics?

I don’t expect you to do anything but to project the sins of the fascist theocrat Republicans on Democrats, because that is all you wingnuts ever do.

  229. WAYNEBRO says:

First, you’d have to be admitting to being one of the “angry protesters” for that comment to even APPLY to you.

Second, it’s not a threat to predict what SOMEONE ELSE might if you go looking for trouble.

    :|

Boy, we really are getting a glimpse into the pussification of the neocon right tonight.

    What a pu$$y.

  230. Rich H says:

Oh Oh Oh This looks like fun, can I threaten someone too?

  231. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

    Jpreston,

The video does not show what anyone’s political affiliation is. If you have any other evidence please present it or you are simply being disingenuous. Not that I expect you to do anything other than spout wingnut talking points, but I will make the offer anyway.

After all, if there really were “purple shirts” there, you should have more evidence than a video which is open to interpretation. Either you do, or you do not, which is it?

  232. tombaker says:

If the news reports I see are not fake, like that footage of the moon landing was (right jpreston?), then the average age of the “healthbagger” appears to be 72.

Therefore, in another 20 years (whether lefties have them killed by robots in their sleep (and, probably, they will)) there ought to be be about 14 “conservatives” left in the U.S., given that kids have been naturally moving to the left of their parents, politically, for the last 400 years.

I’ll take that as good news.

Sucks to be a Righty, I reckon.

  233. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

I’ll leave that up to the moderators to judge.

You could end up like RHF did. Geeze I hope so.

    Lol, you’re joke troll.

And I already flagged you for abuse for making false claims about threats when clearly there was no threat, and I encourage my fellow TP’rs here to do likewise.

  234. ralph the wonder llama says:

Man, this jpreston troll is one terrified little pussy. He sees threats everywhere.

“Is that a threat? Is THAT a threat?”

Jeez. Reading comprehension might help, but I suspect this one was born to be scared.

  235. ralph the wonder llama says:

    Levi the Dungbeetle says:
    jpreston,

I realize it is difficult for you to be honest,

    Difficult?

So far it looks like it’s impossible.

  236. tombaker says:

@289 – Rich – I’m pretty sure you just did, but let’s ask jpreston anyway.

jpreston, were you just “totally threatened” by Rich’s inquiry re: threatening??

if so, we’ll totally mark that down on the Official Register of Slights to jpreston, and submit it to the officials.

  237. Rich H says:

I haven’t seen any threats, but I’ve sure read alot of whining about threats.

  238. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

Fascists like jpreston cannot accept reality so they live in an alternate reality, where they are not a super minority, where violence will solve their problems and where insults gain political points.

Sorry jpreston, your political philosophy is history. You fascist theocratic Republicans will be remembered by history as the group that finally broke the two party stalemate in the United States, and for that we thank you.

  239. Rich H says:

Who was the all time threat maker, John Kerry?

  240. Trollspotter says:

jpreston and all you other trolls reading this:

Why are you on a blue blog trying to cause a fight at such a volatile time in America’s history? I understand you get a cheap buzz from trolling and some of you are tragically addicted to it, but come on. Take off your troll hats for one freaking second and think about the long term consequences of trying to provoke more violence instead of less.

If we went all out, think about all the blood both sides would shed. You really want that horror? It sounds like a good idea to you?

  241. WAYNEBRO says:

I’m sorry if I scared you troll.

    :|

Guess if you’re that scared of someone pointing out that people might start “standing up to you” then maybe you guys better stop with the “anger and intimidation rallies” now, huh?

  242. Art says:

    FYI
I got a robo call from Senator Vitter’s (R-LA) office that he will be holding a town hall meeting on Monday, 8/10 at 10:00 am at the Jefferson Parish Offices (Yenni Building) near New Orleans. He intends to discuss the government takeover of health care. (yes, it said “takeover”)
    All are invited.

  243. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

So you are also blind. Those who beat up this guy were wearing “SEIU Union Purple Shirts”

No one “beat the guy up”.

A scuffle ensued and he fell down or was pushed down.

That doesn’t constitute in my neck of the woods “getting beat up”.

    :|

Although I’m sure it does in yours.

  244. WAYNEBRO says:

By the way, if you’re so frightened of me and my words, why are you still here?

    :|

    Jus sayin….

  245. The Republic of Stupidity says:

    jpreston says:

The video shows them and they were arrested for the assault.

    It’s all on tape.
    __________

Actually, it’s not. More than one of us have looked at that tape, and it doesn’t show what you keep desperately claiming it does.

Six people were arrested, according to the St Lo police.

    No names were given.

Two men were arrested for ALLEGEDLY assaulting a thrid man, handing out flags. No charges have been actually yet. there is NO MENTION by the St Lo PD as to UNION affliliation of the two men arrested.

“Gladney … said he had been hired by the Tea Party folks to hand out the flags.

Gee… did the Tea Baggers hope something this would happen, or did they PLAN IT?

  246. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

I know why jpreston is worried about being threatened. All the fascist theocrat Republicans are worried right now. They have awakened the sleeping giant of the American People, and we are very angry.

We have removed them from power, and we will remove the rest of them until they are just a footnote in a history book. You bet they are scared, because they are afraid some of our laws might soon be applied to them, and they will be hanged for their treason.

Personally, I do not think hanging is a good punishment for the treasonous behavior of fascist theocratic Republicans. I think crucifixion would have a much stronger impact.

  247. WAYNEBRO says:

Seriously jpreston, really, I’m sorry if you’re frightened.

Are you alone? Is someone there with you?

    :|

    Someone hold him.

  248. Rich H says:

Oh please, if anyone was wearing a Union t-shirt and was found to be assaulting anyone – rest assured it would be some republican operative trying to get on tape to plaster all over the internet.

Is this what little j is upset about? Absolutely laughable.

Now get home j and hide behind your mother’s apron.

  249. tombaker says:

Levi, you should totally stop threatening j’preston with your ultra-violence.

I don’t want anyone being treated the way Righties treat the people they’re scared of.

  250. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

    jpreston said,

Those who beat up this guy were wearing “SEIU Union Purple Shirts” who were asked By the Democratic party to attend the Town Hall meeting

I have an army T-shirt, does that mean I am in the Army? You know it does not. I do not know if these “purple shirts” really were SEIU union people or not, and neither do you. It is quite possible that the fascist theocrat Republicans would plant people with SEIU T-shirts and made sure they beat someone up, just to score political points. Fascist theocrat Republicans are well known to do just this sort of stunt.

As for your claim that the Democratic Party asked them to attend, do you have any evidence to support this claim? Please provide an unbias link proving it.

  251. Rich H says:

I don’t know Tom, I keep hitting the refresh button on my computer and all these strange words come up somehow and they don’t agree with me.

    ___________

And who the hell and “Grandam and Grandpa”?

Whose grandma and grandpa are they?

We do know the guy who got roughed up was HIRED by the teabaggers to do what he did. He himself said so.

But back to granny and gramps… can they produce valid birth certificates?

  254. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

    I’ll leave then,

We’re wondering what you’re still doing here.

    :|

People who feel “threatened” don’t usually sit and “chit chat” with their “threateners”.

  255. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

I have tried very hard not to threaten jpreston. jpreston is here to pick a fight, and I am more than happy to engage him, either on a verbal battlefield or a literal one.

I am not a Christian, so I do not hold to the belief that life is precious. If the fascist theocrat Republicans want a civil war, I will not be taking prisoners.

Any voice is allowed here that’s looking for an open, honest debate. You didn’t come for that. You came here to rile people up because you want too see violence in the future. Tempers are high on both sides, so don’t be surprised if you get your wish.

    jpreston says:

    * a couple of insults, intended to provoke *

See the problem here? You come here and try to get people angry. It’s not a good long term strategy.

    jpreston says:

It is a trajic time in our history. So far all I have seen from the left right and Obama is a dividing of the country.

And here you are doing all you can to divide it further. Why?

And you don’t speak for the nation, jpreston. You don’t and you know it.

  261. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

Now you are beating up American citizens for voicing their 1st amendmendment rights and putting people in the hospital.

    We are?

The guy in the video wasn’t injured.

Couldn’t see a scratch on him.

Didn’t hear anything about him being “put in the hospital”.

However YOUR crowd, the Neocons, have murdered hundreds if not thousands of Americans over the years.

You gunned down a doctor a month or so ago.

You gunned down a minister and a bunch of church goers just for being “liberal”.

You’ve threatened the President, Congress members, Glenn Beck made a joke on TV about assassinating Nancy Pelosi, and you’re now out in force, threatening and harassing liberals at town halls across the country.

And now you’re in here whining like a little puss, fabricating threats where there are none and trying take your methods and accuse us of them.

In other words, you suck troll.

    Send in the next one.

  262. Rich H says:

I regret I was too late to witness the entire debacle that was j, the rabble rousing pansy.

  263. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

They were asked to attend the meeting to block the protestors from getting too close to the Rep speakers

    So?

The protesters have been harassing and even threatening or assaulting liberal speakers.

I hope they bring a hundred more like them to the next meeting you “tea-baggers” plan on overthrowing.

  264. WAYNEBRO says:

In fact, I’ll be happy to chip in for his bail so he can get out in time to attend the next meeting your RNC paid thugs plan on attending.

  265. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

    jpreston said,

They were asked to attend the meeting to block the protestors from getting too close to the Rep speakers. They were ushered into the hall (all wearing their purple shirts with the big SEIU logo on them) through the back door (on video). They came in buses and were organized.

The invitation was issued to them two days prior to the meeting.

I asked you to provide a link to prove what you are saying, not to hear you repeat it again. Repeating it over and over does not make it true, not matter how well that works at fascist theocratic Republican rallies.

If you cannot back up your propaganda with unbiased sources, then you lose all credibility, not that you had any to begin with.

Your political philosophy is finished jpreston. I know it hurts to lose not just an election but an entire political movement, but that is reality. When you choose to be fascist, Americans will always vote against you.

  266. WAYNEBRO says:

The troll claiming to feel threatened Says:

Kenneth Gladney, a 38-year-old conservative activist from St. Louis, said he was attacked by some of those arrested as he handed out yellow flags with “Don’t tread on me” printed on them. He spoke to the Post-Dispatch from the emergency room of the St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, where he said he was waiting to be treated for injuries to his knee, back, elbow, shoulder and face that he suffered in the attack.

    Once again, so?

He showed no injuries in the video. He was waving his arms around fine.

The fact that he scraped his knee or scratched his elbow when he fell down doesn’t constitute getting “beaten up”.

And what HE says is moot anyway.

He already admitted to being paid to be there to stir up trouble (I doubt he was handing out flags when the attack happened). No doubt this was simply what is known in legal terms as a “mutually combatant situation” and the guy got what he went looking for.

  267. Trollspotter says:

    Levi the Dungbeetle says:

If the fascist theocrat Republicans want a civil war, I will not be taking prisoners.

I think most people won’t. If it comes to that. But it’s one thing to be ready for it, quite another to try and urge it into happening. I wish the trolls could absorb that.

  268. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

Even if Kenneth Gladney claims he was injured, and was assaulted, he cannot be trusted. He is admittedly a paid Republican shill. Nothing he says can be taken at face value.

We learned not to trust fascist theocrat Republicans when Bush and Cheney told us they knew Saddam had WMDs. We learned a difficult lesson that cost about 5000 American lives and over 100,000 Iraqi lives.

Republicans are liars at their core. They will lie about anything to score political points, even if their nation burns because of it. Americans will never again trust the word of a fascist theocrat Republican.

  269. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

The beatings were in order to, right? .

    Great.

    What beatings?

The guy fell down or was knocked down and got a boo boo.

We’ll mail him a band aid.

  270. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

So now you are admitting that they were an organized group of leftist thugs.

I don’t know if they were organized to be there or not, but I’ll tell you this.

    I sure HOPE they were.

I sure HOPE the democrats are finally starting to stand up to you right wing thugs.

If there were “organized to be there”, then GOOD ON THE ORGANIZERS.

  271. tombaker says:

    oh,

it’s one of those “slip-and-fall” cases?

then they’ll need a good trial lawyer,

    but wait!

trial lawyers are the devil to righties!

    (classy operation there, righty)

  272. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

If the Democratic Party did ask the SEIU to provide security, it was a mistake. They should have had security provided by heavily armed riot police instead.

  273. Rich H says:

I thought j went home to pull the covers over his head, why’s he still here? Didn’t he just say he was leaving?

Funny stuff j, you and your cohorts go around 24 hours a day threatening and killing innocent americans then you come here and say you “feel” threatened.

I’d feel threatened to if I felt the world turning against me. Why don’t you tell us what that feels like?

Frankly, you and your ilk will (sadly) reap what you’ve sowed. Too bad your party hasn’t sowed any good will.

  274. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

Now you are beating up American citizens for voicing their 1st amendmendment rights and putting people in the hospital.

Voicing their 1st Amendment rights is not “shouting down” other peoples right to voice theirs.

That has nothing to do with the first Amendment.

As for “putting people in the hospital”, just think.

If that happens, at least now they’ll have health coverage.

    :D

  275. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

Don’t worry you will grow up some day kido. You make up soties but that’s expected from a little boy. I’ts not your fault.

I do not make up “soties”.

    :|

And if I am a “little boy” as you claim, what does that say for the fact that I can spell and you cannot?

  276. WAYNEBRO says:

By the way, weren’t you writing TP management and claiming I was threatening you?

    :|

If that was true, then why are you still talking to me?

  277. WAYNEBRO says:

Or were you making false reports and bearing false witness against me?

  278. Rich H says:

    waynebro,

can you reply to j for me? I’m scared.

  279. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

    WAYNEBRO says:

Yup. I did. They also have a copy of the post little willy.

Lol, they have a copy of every post Einstein.

    :|

    It’s their blog.

  280. WAYNEBRO says:

    Rich H says:

    waynebro,

can you reply to j for me? I’m scared.

    Sure.

Jpres? I just stood up for you.

Rick says you stink and I told him like sh$t you do.

SEIU-Missouri Statement on Last Night’s Healthcare Town Hall Meeting

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
    Published August 7, 2009 6:58 PM
    Brandon Davis, 314-600-5407

St. Louis – Today, the SEIU Missouri State Council released the statement of Executive Director Brandon Davis:

“Last night, in St. Louis, a Reverend and SEIU member was assaulted at a town hall dedicated to discussing our national healthcare crisis. The incident, along with a town hall in Tampa, Florida, has been all over the radio and cable news shows. GOP operatives are rushing to paint it as SEIU thug violence. That couldn’t be further from the truth.

“In fact, the Reverend, a St. Louis Post-Dispatch reporter, and others who attended in hopes of a peaceful dialogue about our nation’s healthcare crisis, endured the latest attempt by right-wing fringe groups to hijack the democratic process through violence if necessary. Last night, the Teabaggers’ violent tactics broke and dislocated the shoulder of the Reverend.

    ____________

Not quite story j’s been desperately peddling the last couple of hours, huh?

I’m sure the truth will come out. S/b interesting to see who’s telling the truth and who’s lying.

  282. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

    jpreston said,

Don’t worry you will grow up some day kido. You make up soties but that’s expected from a little boy. I’ts not your fault.

When the fascist theocratic Republicans cannot attack you physically or threaten to attack you, they insult you. It’s not going to work jpreston, America is on to you and your kind and we aren’t going to tolerate it anymore.

  283. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

    WAYNEBRO says:

Lol, they have a copy of every post Einstein.

    :|

    It’s their blog.

I know. :) They have a couple of yours special delivery. See, they don’t like certain things that you post, it’s against the “Terms of Use”. Aint this fun willy.

They especially don’t like people making personal threats of violence made against other posters. Ask RHF.

    Yea?

Well funny, they’ve never said word one to me. In fact, Faiz and myself have emailed each other many times, and I’ve never heard anything about it.

And given their commitment to morality, I’m guessing what they really don’t like, are right wing trolls coming in trying to start trouble, then falsely accusing someone of making threats.

I’ll bet they frown on that.

  284. ralph the wonder llama says:

Gee, is jpreston still whining about being threatened?

One would have thought that after hours of posting comments on a blog and having no harm come to him through the folks he’s insulting, he’d have recognized that they could not harm him, and would breathe a little easier.

I guess that takes a little higher brain function than jpreston can muster.

  285. ralph the wonder llama says:

This is just a guess, but I’m betting that, if it fit his ideology, jpreston could watch last year’s Super Bowl on his DVR and insist that Arizona won it.

  286. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

    jpreston said,

With Obama’s 50% approval it seems that people like you are reaping what you sow also.

Granny and Grandpa are prolific voters.

An approval rating of 50% is incredibly high at this point in Obama’s presidency, especially given that he has black skin. I guess if you feel the childish need to win some kind of political point by pointing out his approval ratings have fallen slightly, it just shows how desperate you fascists have become, clutching at any straw, hoping to stay afloat.

It’s not going to work. The fascist theocratic Republican Party has been exposed for all its evil. Granny and Grampa didn’t keep you in power in 2008 and they won’t get you back in power in 2010 or 2012.

  287. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

Right Willy. You must be right. Email buddies. Maybe he can help you out. I’m sure he will.

    Help me out with what?

You honestly think someone over at TP is so incredibly stupid as to let a right wing troll play them?

    They can see my comments.

And as every other poster in here has pointed out, there was no threat.

    Not even remotely.

So all we have left, is a little puss of a troll who can’t handle debating me so he lies and hopes the management at TP is too stupid to read.

  288. WAYNEBRO says:

    hmmmmm, troll?

    Are you there troll?

    :|

I’m checking my inbox and I don’t see any messages yet from TP warning me about “threats”.

    :|

You sure you spelled everything correctly in your complaint?

  289. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

    jpreston,

I am waiting for you to provide evidence that the Democratic Party asked SEIU to provide security for the town hall meeting. I don’t expect you will provide any proof, because you have none. You are just parroting lies, again.

When will you wingnuts realize that your lies are transparent, and they have cost you everything. More lies will not restore you to political power.

  290. WAYNEBRO says:

    jliar says:

One thing for sure, if they don’t enforce their “terms of use” agreement then it becomes non binding. From that point on, legally, anything goes. The legal department would surely frown on that.

    Either way, it’s a problem.

    No, you’re a liar.

    That’s the only problem.

You’ve shown no threats from me whatsoever nor have I even remotely made any.

All you’ve done is prove that the republicans will lie whenever they can’t handle the debate.

  291. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

I never said they were asked to provide security though. You go back and read what I did say. I’m tired of reposting things to you morons.

Well we’re not, so get to it.

  292. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

    jpreston said,

Considering how far it has fallen I would say that the “bloom is off the rose” so to speak.

The country will not stand for the beating of their grandparents on national tv. Rat out your neighbor sites, lies about taxes, ect.

The President isn’t elected solely by Democrats. It’s the independants that decide who will be elected.

What kind of crazy uses the saying “the bloom is off the rose”? Most pundits say the honeymoon period is over, and I agree. But Obama’s approval rating is still incredibly high given that his honeymoon is over. Not that approval ratings mean much at this point. If you want to look at his approval rating, wait until the next presidential election. Right now, it’s just troll droppings.

You are right that Americans will not stand for their grandparents being beaten on national television, so you should not send them to any more town halls inciting violence. If the fascist theocrat Republicans think putting ignorant elderly people in harms way is going to earn you the sympathy of the American people, you are sadly mistaken, again.

You are right, Obama is not going to be re-elected by just Democrats, he will be re-elected by the independants that have fled the Republican Party in droves. You wingnuts just don’t get it, the more you push, the less independants that support you.

  293. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

Not just a threat willie but a personal threat of violence.

    You’re a liar.

  294. WAYNEBRO says:

    WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

Not just a threat willie but a personal threat of violence.

Here, once more to show you what a liar you are.

HERE is my comment you claim was a “personal threat of violence”.

August 7th, 2009 at 8:27 pm Add Karma Vote Up | Subtract Karma Vote Down | (1) | Report Abuse

No where was there ANYTHING threatening. Predicting that IF “you guys” (NOT PERSONAL, UNLESS YOU ARE MORE THAN ONE PERSON INHABITING A SINGLE BODY) keep going around starting trouble that you eventually will end up messing with the wrong person, is in NO WAY a personal threat of violence.

You are thus proven for all to see, a LIAR.

    L

    I

    A

    R

    LIAR.

  295. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

    jpreston said,

It was reported on your favorite so called news channel. Why don’t they have a link to it? Hmmmm. (fishy). It was reported 2 days ago. It wasn’t a secret. Don’t worry, it will be posted sometime maybe. Hey, I heard it.

I never said they were asked to provide security though. You go back and read what I did say. I’m tired of reposting things to you morons.

I’m not surprised you can’t prove me wrong. If you could, you would have already.

You continue to repeat your point, and continue to fail to back it up. I have made no effort to disprove what you are claiming, I just want to keep an open mind and see if what you are saying is true. Apparently it is not because you cannot or will not provide a link as evidence.

Now I can understand why, when you are asked to provide evidence, you need to resort to name calling. It is the motus operandi for the fascist theocratic Republicans.

When you are able to stop throwing around trite insults, you might be a worthy opponent. As it is you are just making the plight of the fascist theocratic Republican Party just a little bit worse.

  296. WAYNEBRO says:

Saying that the teabaggers and protesters would end up bullying the wrong person in no way constitutes a threat to you.

But, on the other hand thanks for admitting what a pu$$y you are.

  297. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

    jpreston said,

Next time you talk to a senior citizen you try and tell them that they can’t go to a Town Hall meeting. How’s that been working out for you so far?

The last time I was at the grocery store, I was wearing my Obama 2008 T-shirt. I was approached by two elderly men, both of whom wanted to discuss the political situation in our country, and both of them said they would never vote for a Republican again.

How do you think that is going to work out for you fascists?

  298. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

    WAYNEBRO says:

    ——————————————————————————–

    jpreston says:

Not just a threat willie but a personal threat of violence.

    You’re a liar.

You don’t have to convince me. I saw what I saw and I sent the post to them. I also sent a couple of your posts where you glorified the violence of the past couple days.

You were so happy to tell me all about how you enjoyed it and advocated for more of it.

You have to convince them Willie.

Wrong scumbag. It’s YOU who have to “convince them”. Willie.

In this country, the US, the accused doesn’t have to prove himself innocent.

The ACCUSER (that’s you) has to prove him guilty.

And so far you’ve proven nothing other than you’re a liar, a coward and not a very bright one.

  299. ralph the wonder llama says:

    WAYNEBRO says:
Saying that the teabaggers and protesters would end up bullying the wrong person in no way constitutes a threat to you.

WAYNEBRO, you know what they say about conservatives.

  300. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

    WayneBro,

I wouldn’t even worry about it. The admins of TP know jpreston is a troll and they know you are a regular contributor. Who do you think they will believe?

Blog sites like this get spam from fascist theocrat wingnuts every day. They learn to ignore it because they know what is going on as much as we do.

  301. WAYNEBRO says:

It’s so funny to watch the neocons during the day, hanging democrats in effigy, threatening people with murder, shouting down and intimidating people at town halls, and then come into the blogs and cry about “civil discourse”.

    You are a joke troll.

  302. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

Willy, it’s not up to me. It’s up to them. They read your posts and decide.

You did read the “terms of use agreement” didn’t you? No democracy here.

Lol, at least I am educated enough to read them.

Or did you think we didn’t notice that you switched to a word processor when we started mocking your illiteracy?

    lol

And it’s you who’d better read them troll.

Making false claims about another blogger, especially charges as serious as accusing someone of “threats of violence” is a serious violation of those rules.

    Not to mention civil law.

  303. WAYNEBRO says:

And as for why you’re calling me willy, I’m not sure, unless of course you’d like to suck on mine.

  304. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

    jpreston,

I hope it is in the news. I hope the media covers every one of the tea baggers disrupting town hall meetings, and investigates who they are, where they are from, and how much they are being paid. I hope they are all humiliated on national television because maybe then they will snap out of their brainwashed state.

The media really does need to continue to expose you Republicans for the fascists you really are.

  305. WAYNEBRO says:

Of course, the truth here is TP saw your stupid complaints, saw my report proving your false charges were fabrications, figured out it was two bloggers debating, one who couldn’t handle the debate so he turned to making false complaints about the other, and so they laughed it off.

That’s what really happened of course.

But its’ fun watching you cry about it like a little girl.

  306. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpusston says:

I used the proper chanels. It’s not up to me, it’s up to them. I didn’t write the stuff, he did. You have to stay within the rules here. I know that they bend them for Liberals and enforce them for Conservatives but sometimes they enforce them for legal reason. In that case neither a leftwing nor a rightwing is safe. RHF and Trajan found that out.

You really are a little puss.

  307. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

jpreston used the proper channels to report a lie. That is abusing the system and probably grounds for banning. At least if TP wants to ban you.

Frankly I think TP loves you wingnut trolls. If TP banned all the wingnut trolls, TP would be no better than RedState, and we wouldn’t have a venue to take out our frustration over the rise of fascism in America.

  308. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

Granny is going to have to listen to all her grandchildren telling he why it is wrong to support Republicans. Grandma isn’t going to be able to convince young people that you fascist theocrat Republicans are worth voting for.

What is much more likely is the young people will educate their grandparents and you will lose even more votes.

The Republican Party is finished. Deal with it.

  309. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

You guys really blew it big time.

    :|

Something tells me that’s not the first time you’ve spoken those words.

  310. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

Thanks willie for letting me know. I guess your safe then.

Do they know that you’re only 16 years old? :) :)

    Safe?

Are you saying I wasn’t safe?

    You’re threatening me???

    Is that a threat?

    :0

And if you think I’m 16 what are you doing threatening children???

  311. WAYNEBRO says:

Well I better report this threat.

  312. WAYNEBRO says:

    Please stop threatening me Jpreston.

    :|

    Please stop it now.

  313. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

It’s amusing to watch as this fascist claims to want to curry the favor of young people, but bashes someone for being young.

Do you think 16 year olds like being treated like dirt by Republicans? In just two short years they will be voters, and in two short years, some of their grandparents will have died.

You Republicans really are blowing it big time.

  314. WAYNEBRO says:

    Levi the Dungbeetle says:

It’s amusing to watch as this fascist claims to want to curry the favor of young people, but bashes someone for being young.

Not only that he threatens 16 year olds.

    That’s pretty serious.

  315. WAYNEBRO says:

    jpreston says:

It’s not a threat. I thought you should know. It’s out of my hands.

    So you’re saying it’s not a threat it’s a promise?

You’ve hired someone to “get me”??

Oh my….stop threatening me like this.

  316. Levi the Dungbeetle says:

Time has come for me to get some sleep. I think I have done my part in further discrediting this worthless wingnut troll yet again.

I leave the troll-bashing to the rest of my fellow progressives. May the day come when we can visit these fascists in prison, or buy the DVD of their treason trials and hangings.

  317. WAYNEBRO says:

Thanks troll, for showing everyone once more what the right wing is about.

    Nothing.

    You’re about nothing.

You don’t know what your ideal are until they’re handed to you by your local RNC leadership.

And you spend the day out in public trying to intimidate others, then when someone stands up to you, you run crying to mommy.

You’re nothing, and your 15 minutes were up 20 minutes ago.

  318. WAYNEBRO says:

And if FOX NEWS keeps directing people to town hall meetings to try to harass, threaten and intimidate liberals and liberal speakers, then no doubt we’ll be seeing more pu$$Y republicans like the moron in the video you show graciously showed us, getting back what he started.

People no doubt will stand up to you.

If you take that as a threat then that’s your problem.

    I can’t help it if you’re a wimp.

But it’s not a threat and in no court of law could it ever be construed as one.

Its just a simple and accurate prediction based on the facts, as we saw today.

The republicans want to “Buffalo” people. They want to silence debate, intimidate and harass, and thus control the government and the country through brute force and intimidation.

But Americans aren’t easily intimidated, and they will no doubt stand up to the republican rioters like we saw today.

    Don’t like it troll?

    Tough.

    Do something about it.

  319. cd says:

It’s going to be funny when a fat old freeper tries to take on one of the burly Democrats that got elected to Congress in 06 and 08.

  320. WAYNEBRO says:

And as for MY opinion on what should be done with these neocon rioters?

I’ve made that clear repeatedly over the past several days and I’ll say it again.

    LOCK EM UP.

Escort them out and when they resist, LOCK EM UP.

That’s what “I’D DO”, if anyone wants to know.

And my posts over the past week state that in those words, repeatedly.

  321. WAYNEBRO says:

Free speech does not include silencing others rights to free speech.

When you go into a meeting with the express purpose of silencing the speech of others you are simply violating several laws including the rights of others to be heard.

This is unConstitutional and it’s unlawful and if I were in charge I’d have security escort each one of the idiots out and when they resisted, I’d lock em up.

    Plain and simple.

  322. Rich H says:

I go out to dinner and when I come back I find waynebro still kicking some troll as*.

Good going wayne (not that you need that from me).

To j, if your trying to reach the All Star level of troll droppings, don’t hold your breath, you’ve got to make this thread go over 2,000 and you’ll have to come up with something better than “quit threatening me!”

    Whiner.

  323. Rich H says:

  324. WAYNEBRO says:

No, that would be the republican moron in the video you showed us earlier, who went out looking for trouble, and…..well…..found it.

    ;)

You know the right wing is in trouble, when their latest desperate strategy is to adopt the strategies of code pink.

    jpreston says:

I didn’t change the post in any way. It’s up to them to decide what was said. But keep in mind, I also sent the posts where he was glorifying the recent violence also.

Something about hurting Old men and women if they protest.

You go look up what he said.

His own words. I didn’t write any of it, he did.

Wow, I must have missed this one.

I said no such thing. I didn’t even mention “old men and old women”.

    No where.

    At no time.

    Not even close. Nothing.

Notice how this scumbag doesn’t bother to actually post the comment.

    He just eludes to it.

    That’s because it doesn’t exist.

  328. WAYNEBRO says:

    Your desperation is apparent troll.

Can’t debate me on the issues, so you turn to cheap lies and false slander about my character instead.

You’ve been weighed, measured and found wanting.

  329. WAYNEBRO says:

The trolls betting no one will check, and just assume I said “something” similar to that.

So here. For anyone who thinks the troll has even a modicum of credibility, here. Do this.

Hit “ctrl f”. That will bring up a “FIND” window. You can also click on “Edit” and then “FIND”.

In the find window, type the word “old men”.

You will note that it appears three times and three times only.

Once when this troll accuses me of saying it.

Once when I responded to his accusation.

And in this comment I am posting now.

    That’s it.

At no time did I, or anyone for that matter say anything about beating up old men and women. It doesn’t appear.

He just pulled that one right out of his a$$.

It’s a complete fabrication that has zero basis in reality.

He’s banking on the fact that most casual readers coming after won’t bother to check through 400 some comments. Which they won’t. Why would they? So he feels he can just fabricate some complete and utter lie and accuse me of it, and it will stick because no one will check.

Well, now I’ve shown anyone interested (who didn’t know already) how to quickly confirm a lie someone makes about you.

Simply do a quick “FIND” on the page and if the words don’t come up, they ain’t there.

    :P

    And that’s the truth.

    You know I would suggest we post the Rethug meetings and go “harrass” them back but you see;

I am trying to follow our president’s example of class and intellectualism vrs frothing at the mouth Facists fanatics.

    Therefore,

Write your representatives and demand THEY get their BUTT in gear and on the offensive and if they don’t expect to be voted out of office in 2010!
