Woman yells ‘Heil Hitler’ to Jewish man praising Israel’s national health care system.
Conservatives have strenuously denied that there is any anti-Semitism on display by anti-health reform protesters at town hall meetings nationwide — despite all the evidence to the contrary. Last week, Las Vegas radio station KDWN AM720 sponsored a “contentious” town hall, emceed by conservative morning show host Heidi Harris. At the event, local news stations were interviewing an Israeli man who was praising the “fantastic” “national health care” in Israel. During his remarks, a woman yelled out, “Heil Hitler!” The man stopped, became visibly upset, and exclaimed, “Did you hear this? She say to a Jew, ‘Heil Hitler’! Hear? I’m a Jew! You’re telling me, ‘Heil Hitler’? Shame of you!” After he angrily confronts her, the woman mocks him by making a crying sound to imply he is a whining baby. Watch it:

The fascist Republicans are using so much hate, they will be left with a very unified minority with no political power whatsoever.

After spending the last 2 years of my life working on the Obama campaign, I went to Washington DC for the Inaugural, then returned home to New York City, packed my bags, exercised my rights as a holder of Dual US/German Citizenship, and put myself in Self-Imposed Exile here in Munich, Germany. Ironically enough, it’s where Hitler had his last residence and my place is within walking distance of his old one.
Breaks my heart to feel that I had to leave the United States to flee the Brown Shirt Nazis, like this disgrace of an American, that came out of the woodwork with Sarah Palin last year.
Sad to say but it’s the smartest move I’ve ever made in my adult life.
What I love about it is that I’m actually in a Socialist country and can see how well this system works for people.
Something an idiot like that woman will never know because odds are she’s like 4 out 5 Americans surveyed, one of the 80% of Amricans that doesn’t have a US Passport, which means that she’s never left the country and doesn’t have a clue as to what she’s talking about.

I grew up in NYC with Death Camp Holocaust Survivors and I’d love to sit her down with some of them for a little history lesson.
When it came time to explain to her what a Nazi truly is, I’d make her put a mirror up to her face and make her take a good, long hard look at herself.

In that dynamic, the balance between supply and demand sets a price point that the market can bear and that can support the marketer. Innovation can produce more desirable products and more efficient production techniques, and the reward for the producer is higher sales and more profit. Higher demand raises prices, and less demand lowers them to the point where the buyer finds it worth purchasing.
Choice for the buyer is a critical component of the dynamic. The buyer must have the choice between one vendor or another, and he must also have the choice to decline to purchase from anyone. It’s this last — the ability to do without — that really puts downward pressure on price.
Health care delivery does not feature this last critical element. It is a foolish choice to do without health care insurance no matter what the cost, because the risk should serious injury or disease strike is catastrophic. Thus is a for-profit system, there is no downward pressure on cost.
Health care delivery should not be treated as a consumer good, as a commodity. It should be treated as a public service.
Just like education. Just like law enforcement.
Neither of those processes respond well to the profit motive, because they are most useful to the society when they are universally available. When their availability is restricted by cost (as happens with consumer goods like plasma TVs or designer jeans) the greater society is less efficiently served and the whole process is distorted.

Case in point, ironically, today a co-worker stopped by after having been off for a while.
He had a heart attack while out of town. He usually gets his medical care from the V.A. as he is a veteran, but when the heart attack struck he got himself to the nearest hospital to seek help.
The first bill he just got?
$100,000
This doesn’t include any billing from the doctors, this was just for the angioplasty. The V.A. didn’t cover it as he didn’t seek treatment at the V.A.
At this point I’m not sure if there are options for him and I don’t know if the V.A. covers expenses provided by private hospitals.
The point is why should he or anyone else have to endure that?
Who are you to be the arbiter of care?

You can always ask the State of Hawaii Department of health, the hospital he was born in and the doctor who delivered him. From there you can go ask the FBI, the Secret Service who did background checks on his birth certificate and confirmed it and you can go to the State Department where it was determined that his Birth certificate qualifies for a passport or you can go here. I worked for many years without coverage and was fortunate enough to finally land a job with great benefits — there are very few such jobs left in this country.

The private sector isnt doing a very good job of controlling costs and 18,000 Americans per year DIE from lack of access to healthcare with them in charge. What you believe isnt really the point. The point is to stop those deaths. Half of all bankrupcies are healthcare related and more than half of THEM started with healthcare. The point is to stop that problem. Our biggest industrial competitors Japan and Europe HAVE national healthcare programs and it puts THEIR industries at a competitive advantage since they dont have to shoulder the lions share of the healthcare burden the point is to do something about THOSE THINGS.

The deficit for FY 2009 (Bush’s final budget) was projected to be $1.2 Trillion on January 20, 2009.
Today it stand somewhere around $1.8 trillion, after the stimulus bill and various other emergency measures intended to keep our economy from tipping into a second Great Depression.
Obama has increased that deficit, as everyone knew he would have to.
But he hasn’t even come close to doubling it, let alone tripling it.

KDWN also has a Rabbi on our weekend line up hosted By Rabbi Ytz Wyne. I believe that your concerns should be directed to Channel 8 as they should remove that video, as that was not part of the Town Hall and probably took advantage of an emotional man, since there was no “mobs” that showed up. We have partial clips on Heidi’s page on kdwn.com, the full Video will be up on the home page shortly. Again that was not what the KDWN town hall was about.

Stopping the spending right now would leave us in this financial fiasco. We will see how the stimulus works out. It seems to have stemmed the bleeding the stock market is up. I know that Stiglitz and Krugman two Nobel Prize winners in economics think a stimulus is the way to go NOT to stop spending money and sink into another great depression. I would have liked to see more productive spending from it and less tax cuts but at least we arent hemorraging jobs like we were before the stimulus.

I’ve had close encounters myself, at town hall meetings opposing a corporate private prison.
Their over-dramatic outrage is something you really don’t expect to see outside of a mental institution.
In these cases, their outrage seems both disproportionate and inappropriate to the issue, you know what I mean?
I can see where people would get upset about war, especially an unjust and unconstitutional one.
I can understand why people that have to commute would be upset at gasoline price gouging.
But, outrage that our system of government wants to assure that everyone has proper healthcare???
The man in this video, an immigrant, is one of the few I’ve seen expressing valid outrage at the cost of his 2 hour emergency room visit.
Half the people I know are either bankrupt or near it because of health expenses, or they are taking the chance that they won’t need it, and not buying health insurance.
You don’t see them here. They don’t want to call attention to themselves because they have to dodge bill collectors or are embarrased that they can’t afford health insurance.

Instead, she said “anybody who goes to the ER and has no health insurance should be required to talk to a social worker who would find her one”. It is amazing how misinformed and underinformed people are when it comes to health care reform. The nature of the whole problem that 99% of people who do not have health insurance does not have it because either they cannot afford it or because they are denied by every company because of preexisting conditions. And that is the point. There is no social worker in the world who would find insurance for someone who is denied by everyone because of preexisting conditions. The health care reform would force insurance companies to stop discriminating and accept anybody regardless of their health. THEN and only then the social worker can help. Just watch the movie called Sicko if you have not seen it yet and you are opposing health care reform. Then you will figure it out. It is simply outrageous that in the richest country in the world over 40 thousand people has to die because they cannot see the doctor on time because they have no insurance. This is just wrong. 40 thousand people who die. How many 9/11s is that? Just think about it.

It has been going on for centuries. I voted for Obama, but am an open minded individual so I listen to alot of Retardlican talk radio and ideas, in order to get a perspective of how they think. Let me tell you I was listening to so much that I started to believe what these untermensch, corporate zombies were saying and began regretting having voted for Obama, and I am from Chicago and admire this man. I really began to think that he was part of some wide Nazi conspiracy, that was run by the banking Jews,(how oxymoronic, but this is really what these goons think), but soon came to my senses after doing some research from credible sources and it later strengthened my resolve as a “Loony Liberal”. Whatever. These people are basically brainwashed and they almost started brainwashing me. They blame the banks for our problems, but really it is there own genetic inbred stupidity as the reason they can’t rise up and succeed in the worlds richest country. I don’t like the fed either, but from doing my research I actually have come to find that we are better off with them then before. Our generation just never had to experience the problems they had a hundred years ago without a central bank. It was anarchy. The Fed just needs to have at least more transparency or Gov’t control. The funny thing about it is who would you have control our finances. The Gov’t. Yeah right. It is a neccesary evil for now. The ” conservatives” say disolve the fed, but having the gov’t control the economy is big gov’t, is it not? These people have no idea what they want or how to do it. Read The Federal Reserve Act by Robert Owen circa 1919 and you’ll get a perspective of the problems. I won’t get into it any further. If you have half a brain you’ll read up a bit on one of the most important organizations in the world. Second, all these dooshy Cons(ervatives), leaders use the guise of religous morality to further there selfish agenda. They really don’t care if all there support base died in a fiery crash, but in order to stay in power they say that they are protecting Americas children when really Rush Limbaughs popping pills with prostitutes and these evangelical false prophets do meth with 15 year male hookers(real examples). These dudes just want your money, votes, and idiotic following so they can further subjugate your children to work in there american sweat shops, pay there tithes and fight there wars. They only care about you because you pop out plenty of fresh faced slaves who listen to there redneck mommy and daddy and blindly do there bidding. This lady is a perfect example. She listens to these talk shows, and there are many out there, and actually believes her children are better off without healthcare, because her “fearless christian leaders” say so. She blieves Obama will start population control, and he’s from Africa, and he’s a Muslim, etc etc. She has no valid argument. I bet she is one of these evangelicals that thinks the exterminaion of the Jews was part of God’s Plan, as said by superchruch pastor DAN HAGEL,(another false prophet for profit). How foolish can people be? Do Jewish Americans know the only reason that Cons support them so avidly financially is that they think when they rebuild the temple Jesus will come back and convert them, (or kill them)? The last is I am tired of my fellow Dems getting intimidated and pushed around by these apeish slave Cons. Didn’t our idealogy win the last wars. Civil war and civil rights? I feel a war is coming and I will be first to volunteer. These fools were in power for 8 years and screwed everything up and I didn’t bring a gun to any of G.W.’s events (though I really wanted to). I think Obama needs to take advantage of his unlimited power during wartime, dissolve congress, and get some radical change going. I don’t know about you, but after seeing this I decided I am going to the next townhall debate in Ohio with my gun, as proud gun yielding democrat. Sun tzu said to always try peaceful means first and if all other ways are expended attack with no mercy. Our president got in power fair and legitimately .
