Limbaugh says we need to return to ‘segregated buses.’

Last week, a video of a school bus beating showing two African American children assaulting a white student began circulating the internet. Despite claims by authorities that the attack was not necessarily racially motivated, hate radio host Rush Limbaugh jumped on the story and claimed that in “Obama’s America the white kids now get beat up.” Yesterday, Limbaugh proposed a solution to this problem — a return to segregated busing:

LIMBAUGH: I think the guy’s wrong. I think not only it was racism, it was justifiable racism. I mean, that’s the lesson we’re being taught here today. Kid shouldn’t have been on the bus anyway. We need segregated buses — it was invading space and stuff. This is Obama’s America.

I’m all for a segregated society, a society in which so-called “conservatives” are shunned, turned away and not hired for anything, let alone elected to anything.

I am so sick of all the time and energy wasted on those morons, only to eventually prove them wrong.

Who wants a sweaty old fat pig like Limpballs living next door?

    I don’t.

He’s a walking offense, a crime against aesthetics and beauty.

  2. Mike Hunt says:

Words simply cannot describe what a despicable waste of human flesh (and a lot of flesh) is our boy Rush.

  3. Trollspotter says:

A call for segregation? How long before Rush tries to defend the evils of slavery? Oh wait, I forgot, he already did.

  4. PatrioticLiberalChristian says:

LIMBAUGH: I mean, that’s the lesson we’re being taught here today.

Really? Do you have a copy of a secret educational curriculum? Do you have video of a progressive, liberal, commie, feminazis, islamofascist teaching something like this? Or, as is more likely, did you just pull this giant piece of crap out of your more gigantic a** as you tend to do so often?

What does this mean, exactly? That kids never beat up other kids on school buses before Obama became President?

  12. larkohio says:

Segregated busses? Let’s take a big leap back to about 1870.
    What a jerk!

  13. tom says:

Limpballs has really “jumped the shark” this time. Now that he has lost all that weight, he has returned to drinking “adult beverages”. What part of being an alcoholic/addict does he not understand?

I remained mystified about how this a**hole has remained on the radio and held an audience for all these years. The only answer I can come up with is that he and his listeners share one very important characteristic — they all rode the “short bus” to school right up until the day that they flunked out.

  14. Wayne A. Schneider says:

    “We need segregated buses…”

Segregated buses going to a non-segregated school.

    Such genius.

    Not.

  16. Badmoodman says:

Limbaugh says we need to return to ‘segregated buses.’

    – - Are we going to need separate buses for every ethnicity, Rush? An Asian bus, an East Indian bus, a European bus (with sub-buses for Irish, Italian, German, etc.)? Who’s gonna foot that bill, Rushbo?

  17. Bob says:

I wonder how long he’s been waiting for the right situation to call for return to segregation. Wasn’t this always ‘not a question of if but when’? They (the racists) need to do something before they become a powerless minority.

  18. Anonymouse says:

    Wow.

I’ll go out on a limb here, and make a prediction:

A high-profile voice on the right will, sometime within the next year, use an explicit racial epithet against the president.

My sincere hope is that this will (finally) unleash a backlash, rather than open the floodgates.

  23. LibertyLover says:

Limbaugh continues to walk on his dark and fearful path dragging other fearful people with him. He keeps ratcheting up the fear that people of color will treat people of no color in the manner that people of no color treated people of color historically.

For a very large man, Rush is truly a very small man on the inside. Miniscule, really.

But really — I don’t know ANYONE, liberal or conservative, who thinks that beating up a kid over a bus seat is “justifiable”, whether race was a factor or not.

Straw man on Limbaugh’s part. But why am I not surprised?

Well, for Rush and all his minions, they better get used to being the MINORITY. Because in a couple of decades, they will be.

  54. osage says:

    RACISM IS TODAY’S PREDOMINANT REPUBLICANISM

Would “intelligent” Republicans who claim that African American descendants of slavery harbor feelings of racism toward White Americans also claim that the descendants of the victims of the Holocaust harbor feelings of anti-Nazism toward neo-Nazis? If their ancestors had been enslaved and murdered by White Americans, what would they feel toward White red-neck hillbilly crackers still talking about Secession and waving rebel flags and actively promoting American neo-Nazi groups? Is there a Black KKK in America? Is there a Black neo-Nazi movement in America? Are there Black politicians suggesting that their states secede from the United States? Are there any Country Clubs in America who don’t accept White members? Are there literally thousands, perhaps millions, of towns and cities throughout America where White men and women are pulled over by the police simply because they’re driving through a predominantly Black neighborhood? Are there any “intelligent” non-racist Republicans in America?

  167. Lora says:

First, of all, Joe Wilson did not criticize President Obama for anything substantive. He heckled him as “a liar,” when, in fact, the bill in question clearly says that people in the US illegally will not be eligible. The only thing completely substantive here is the text of the proposal, which both you and Wilson are ignoring.
I personally know some Caucasians as well as Asians–for that matter–who occasionally criticize Obama or express disappointment with him without being racist. But you, errornk, give yourself away with expressions like “their savior” and “super-bama.” It is also more than a bit strange that you are spending so much time defending Rush, whom you claim not to stand.

they (Rachel M., Keith O.) rarely criticize their savior, but if they did, they wouldn’t be called a racist because they are liberals. Only conservatives who criticize a black person for something completely substantive (nothing to do with race) get these accusations from the left who has run out of options while super-bama’s popularity plummets

  168. misscoleopteramolly says:

LIMBAUGH: “Any criticism of Obama’s political agenda is pronounced blatant racism…”
    ___________________________________________________________

“Pronounced” by whom? There has been plenty of criticism of President Obama’s political agenda, by both progressives and conservatives — as there has historically been for any president’s agenda.

So what’s racism and what isn’t? If a libertarian opposes the establishment of new government programs and has held this view for many years through several presidential administrations, I wouldn’t label his opposition to a government-administrated public health insurance option as “racist” merely because the president is biracial. That would most likely be his position no matter who was president.

However, there seem to be a number of issues where a lot of conservatives have done abrupt about-faces on their positions since Obama became president. For example, Bush running up the national debt to fund wars based on lies was perfectly OK, but when Obama wants to spend money to stimulate the economy, all of a sudden every wingnut is an overnight debt alarmist.

The first biracial president has brought along a number of other interesting “firsts”:

    – First president to be criticized for using a teleprompter when giving speeches, even though every president has used one since the device was invented.

    – First president to have widespread doubt cast regarding his birth. No other president has had to put up with this to the degree Barack Obama has.

    – First president to be condemned for having “czars”, even though he’s not the first president to have them. He doesn’t even hold the record for the most — that honor goes to GWB.

    – First president to be openly catcalled with “you lie!” during a joint address to Congress. No other president has been that blatantly disrespected — at least not during the age of television, for which we have a record.

And this is just a partial list. Are we supposed to just figure that all this stupid stuff that never mattered before and magically became important recently just coincidentally happened at the same time a biracial man became president?

It’s enough to make a reasonable person go “hmmmm…”. But in all fairness, it may not all be race motivated. I’m sure some of it has to do with the fact President Obama is a Democrat — and any Democrat sitting in the White House would drive the wingnuts crazy.

Ever wonder why it took a century after emancipation for civil rights to pass, even though true virulent racists have always been a minority? Well, of course you don’t, but I’ll tell you anyways. Because of the second group of people who allow the virulent racists to have their way. The lunch counter manager who even though they don’t hold racist beliefs still won’t hire or serve black people because they might lose business from racists. It’s that group that most enforces the tyranny of the majority. Without their help, the hardcore racists wouldn’t be able to do anything.

Rush made an explicitly racist statement. He is a racist. But you are defending his statement. Whether or not you hold racist views personally, you value the opinion and goodwill of real racists over standing up against racism.

    president Obama’s approval rating

I think what they’re pointing out is that since Obama’s approval rating is in range of normal Presidents instead of being sky-high like in the beginning of his term, that means he’s doing a bad job. At least, that’s what I think they’re trying to say. Right-wingers talking about approval ratings gets a little weird; in their world, 60% can be horrible if it’s a Democrat, whereas 20% can be great if it’s a Republican.

    An ignorant troll named watchdog
    Loved that rascal Rush,
    And brought him some Viagra
    And other fancy stuff.
    Rush, the tragic racist,
    Loves the Oxy-C
    And frolicked on his vacation
    With underage kiddies.Oh!
    (repeat)
    Together they would travel
On a boat with Joel Surnow.
    Watchdog kept a lookout perched
    On Rush’s stubby pole.
    Dominican drug dealers and pimps
    Would bow whenever they came,
Pirate ships would lower their flags
When Rush roared out his name. Oh!
    Rush, the tragic racist,
    Loves the Oxy-C
    And frolicked on his vacation
    With underage kiddies. Oh!
    (repeat)
    The racist avoided combat,
    with bleeding hemorrhoids.
Wrapped himself up in a flag
    and chased some little boys.
    One grey night it happened,
    Watchdog came back for more
    But Rush the tragic racist,
    Would fu(k him nevermore.
His fists now clenched in anger,
    Oxycontin fell like rain,
    And Rush no longer went
    Into that dark hole again.
    Watchdog had grown too old,
    For Rush’s sexual game,
    Cause Rush the tragic racist
    Prefers a young boy slave.
    Rush, the tragic racist,
    Loves the Oxy-C
    And frolicked on his vacation

Is the paranoia of the racist because the fear that a successful black President will prove that racism is evil and destructive. When these people attack the opportunity for the kinds of improvements that this President is working toward because of race we are all discriminated against.

I never thought I’d be able to write something too vile about Pudge Limpdiddler, but a comment I submitted yesterday ended up in moderation. I haven’t figured out if it was because I applied the nickname “Lumpy” to him or if it was something else. I only used one four letter epithet and that was a synonym for shit that gets thrown around all the time. I suppose I should go look at the site rules of the road sometime.

Anyway, time marches on and Lumpy “Racisms-R-Us” Pudge Limpdiddler has demonstrated in the (n+1)th instance that he is at heart, a loudmouthed bigot with access to a microphone. I was ready to consider the matter closed regarding Lumpy’s racism back when the Donovan McNabb biz hit the news, but oh, no, a whole lot of people thought that was picking on the fat boy. I’m sure the trolls whined about it for months, if not years. The arse is a racist, or a would be racist.

For the benefit of the trolls, a racist is a person from a group who is 1) a bigot regarding ethnic groups, and 2) whose group holds the dominant political power in a community, region or nation. Bigots are everywhere, in every group, whether it be a social, political, ethnic, or religious class, but if you’re in a dominant ethnic class, you’re a racist. Ergo, white American ethnic bigots are, generally, racists, particularly if their bigotry concerns African-Americans, Asian-Americans, and Latin Americans who don’t appear to be ‘purely’ European in origin. Racism is a social construct which can be dealt with in various ways by a society; bigotry is ingrained in the personality and is not particularly amenable to social correction, but can be socially suppressed. If you’re a bigot, you’ve got to man up to enough good will to correct it yourself.

Lumpy has no such good will, and he makes too much money to give up on being a racist. Besides, if he can’t spew hate, what the frack will he do for the rest of his drug addled life?

  254. DRxJ says:

    Clear Channel’s WOAI website is http://www.woai.com. Their contact numbers are: Phone:(210) 736-9700 Fax:(210) 735-8811

  277. DNFP says:

The analogy of a “cyst on the a$$ of America” keeps coming to mind…

  278. linzloo08 says:

Why does anyone still listen to this idiot?Oh well, his followers are just brain dead morons who don’t (or can’t) think for themselves and take everything he says as gospel (ha thats a funny one!).

  279. conservative guy says:

This comment has been voted down. Click to read.

  280. linzloo08 says:

Oh well, this is coming from the same guy who was praising the duo who “exposed” ACORN’s “corruption”, so I’m not too suprised he’d say something like this today.

  281. barfly says:

    conservative guy says:

    Right on Rush.

Look who’s trying to sound hip.

    It’s so cute.

  282. RUCerious says:

    TRoS, yes, it certainly is.

  283. USCKitty says:

    conservative guy says:
    Right on Rush.

about the only thing Rush forgot was his white hood and cloak, but that would make it too obvious, eh? (as if it weren’t obvious enough)

  284. tombaker says:

CG likes to try to stink last

    on a lot of threads.

    he’s boring.

  285. Craig Mack says:

First of all, I thiink Limbaugh is one of the biggest pieces of trash on the face of the planet, and wish he would gargle with Drain-o. That being said, anyone who thinks that race had nothing to do with this is flat-out ignorant.

I grew up as a “Half-breed” In Over-The-Rhine cincinnati (Mom is Native American, dad white), so I have a pretty decent take on this subject. (Being the pale-faced minority)Trust me, if this kid that got beat down was black, this wouldn’t have happened.

People tend to turn a blind eye to the fact that racism exist on both sides (Actually, they’re to pussified to admit it). It doens’t matter if its revers, upside-down, or sideways, racism is just that….racism. We would all agree the Klan is racist trash heaps, but several people on this site would probably sto short of saying the same thing about the Black Panthers. I didn’t say everyone, but some. Bottom line, racism exist in all planes, and from all angles.

And, just my opinion, just because someone disagrees with Obama, that doesn’t make them a racist. When people make that statement too much, it becomes a “little boy who cried wolf” scenario. If you believe me to be an idiot, fair enough, but before you dissent, let me ask you this: Are Rangel, Cynthiana Mckinney, and other senators/reps of color racist because they disagreed with Bush? I’m just sayin…..

  286. Wayne A. Schneider says:

    conservative guy says:

    Right on Rush.

    Go lefty tonight, CG

  287. ElBruce says:

    Craig Mack says:

…anyone who thinks that race had nothing to do with this is flat-out ignorant.

Wait, so your side the one insisting that any physical altercation between people of different races must always be a hate crime, even though there’s no evidence that it is. Do I have that right?

    .

    Craig Mack says:

I grew up as a “Half-breed” In Over-The-Rhine cincinnati (Mom is Native American, dad white), so I have a pretty decent take on this subject.

Oh, my apologies. It’s only (and always) a hate crime if it’s black-on-white violence. Got it.

  288. EugeneDebs says:

    ConservaTROLL

    Kill yourself you racist shitweasel

  289. Kenneth says:

There you go Debs. Bottom of the barrel, guteral name-calling again. Do you ever have anything constructive to say?

As for the rest of you – Why in such a tizzy? Some of you must listen to Rush to get your shorts to tight in the crotch! Or did Rush give you a snuggy?

  290. tombaker says:

    guttural, kenny.

it’s actually an adjective that describes sounds, not words.

it’s funny when people use words that are over their heads.

    did you say something constructive?

    i’m sorry.

  291. USCKitty says:

    Kenneth says:
There you go Debs. Bottom of the barrel, guteral name-calling again. Do you ever have anything constructive to say?

As for the rest of you – Why in such a tizzy? Some of you must listen to Rush to get your shorts to tight in the crotch! Or did Rush give you a snuggy?

You want us to be silent about racism? It seems to racism apologists, it’s not the racism that we should be outraged about, but rather the outrage itself and that the racism isn’t racist, but rather the outrage itself. Racism should be called out when it bears its ugly head and no one is going to intimidate us into silence. Sorry…

  292. USCKitty says:

Craig, you ignore the fact that African-American leaders have faced attempts to de-legitimize them. Take for example black leaders in the Reconstruction era. They faced dehumanizing caricatures from those “honorable” white Southerners who wanted to suggest that they were too stupid and uncivilized to lead society. Fast-forward to today, and you have a movement that questions Obama’s legitimacy suggesting that he was born in Kenya. Look at the fringe’s racist signs telling him to “go back to Africa.”

Bush faced questions about his legitimacy not because of his race, but rather because of how he came to power. You cannot make the false equivalence when there isn’t any equivalence to begin with.

  293. Kenneth says:

    #153
    Rasmussen Daily Tracking poll.

Presidential Approval Index: -8, down 2
    Strongly Disapprove: 40% Up 2%
    Total Approval: 47% Down 2%
    Total Disapproval: 52% Up 1%

  294. USCKitty says:

Rasmussen leans heavily GOP. I would be interested to see what the other polls say. It seems that all of our conservative friends on here go to Rasmussen, perhaps because they don’t have TEH LIBRUL BIAS…

  295. tombaker says:

Those #’s can’t help you, Kenny,

any more than your rhetorical unicorns.

Longing for the good old days of GWB?

    That’s funny.

Maybe Mitt will fix it for you?

    I’m sorry.

  296. Wayne A. Schneider says:

    Kenneth says:

Do you need to have it explained to you why those numbers are meaningless? The vast majority of the people who express disapproval with the president are doing so because of false things they have been told about him and his policies. (Most of the teabaggers from this past weekends rallies believed false things about Obama.) Considering how much the right wing has been lying to people (about virtually everything), it should come as no surprise that people might have less favorable views of the president. Thanks to the right wing and their propensity for lying, there is no longer anything like a civil debate in today’s politics.

  297. chrisfrenzy says:

Look at what’s happening. We’ve got Glenn Beck who is positioning the first black POTUS as a racist [for the benefit of real racists]. Michelle Bachmann convincing people that Obama wants to put arch conservatives in interment camps. Rush pushing segregation. And Pat Buchanan saying Hitler never wanted to go to war. Meanwhile, all of these people have a direct line into the mushy brains of America’s Most Armed and Dangerous.

If I were some kind of conspiracy nut, and I’m not, I’d think that something is going on here.

  298. Virtual Pebble says:

@ 300. chrisfrenzy says: Look at what’s happening. … Michelle Bachmann convincing people that Obama wants to put arch conservatives in interment camps. Rush pushing segregation. … If I were some kind of conspiracy nut, and I’m not, … September 18th, 2009 at 9:54 am

Ain’t nobody here but us chickens, peckin’ around the ol’ graveyard – you did say interment camp, no? It’s internment camp, yer thinking of for arch conservatives, chrisfrenzy.

Aside from that, you are, unfortunately, correct. Well, I don’t know about the conspiracy nut deal – only you can figure that out.

(arch conservative? is that one with a raised eyebrow or one with a curled lip?)

  299. aziumin says:

You didn’t even listen to Limbaugh’s show – or the following show, did you? You didn’t know how absolutely *soaked* with sarcasm that whole routine he did was, did you? You don’t even know why he was doing that bit, do you? No, of course not. You can’t be bothered with facts – you’ve got propaganda to spread and RAGE to incite. Limbaugh’s whole point in his spiel was to show how the left is just *dying* for the chance to inject racism into any issue so as to distract from substance in favor descending into hyperbole. Limbaugh was trying to show how electing Obama to the presidency has done nothing to ‘fix’ race problems in this country and that the left is continuing to milk the race issue for all they can get out of it anyway they can. Way to prove him right, morons. Here, why don’t you people read the FULL transcript off of Limbaugh’s site (instead of the heavily edition and annotated garbage posted at thinkprogress) so that you can see just what Limbaugh said, how he said it, and the context of why he said it the way he did:

    http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_091509/content/01125106.guest.html

The way you guys are choosing to react shows that you are doing *exactly* what Limbaugh predicted – deliberately taking his comments out of context so as to manufacture ‘racism’ to pretend to be angry about so that you don’t have to allow yourselves to be challenged on the issues. Limbaugh 1, libtards 0.

  300. joe cantwell says:

    ***

    from c&l:

Limbaugh also suggested that racism itself was acceptable.

“If homosexuality being inborn is what makes it acceptable, why does racism being inborn not make racism acceptable?” the talk show host asked. “I’m sorry — I mean, this is the way my mind works. But apparently now we don’t choose racism, we just are racists. We are born that way. We don’t choose it. So shouldn’t it be acceptable, excuse — this is according to the way the left thinks about things.”

    ***

    i read a troll’s comment other day

that expressed the exact same opinion.

    no surprise there.

    :)

  301. roddyo says:

WOW – all of you screaming about Limbaugh’s racism – you obviously didn’t listen to his entire rant. He was being as sarcastic as anyone could be – there was no doubt about that! It’s scary to see that the media can take something like this and twist it to either 1. Make conservatives look bad or 2. incite more racism!!

  302. roddyo says:

All of you who are so angry at Limbaugh about this should go and listen to the ENTIRE rant. He was being sarcastic – I heard it live and I completely understood that he was being sarcastic. Please be willing to listen to both sides of a story before you flip out!

  303. Craig Mack says:

El Bruce, way to cherry pick and tunr statements into whatever you want. I now feel like I’m talking to a teenager.
Please show me where I said “hate crime” during my post. I’m saying that race was a factor, not a “hate crime”. And BTW, if no matter the color, an incident like this is pretty simple to judge. Now sift through this, and see what you can pull out of it…

  304. Chuckie2 says:

The incidence of black-on-black crime and black-on-white crime far outpaces the reciprocal percentages. It is a problem we need to solve at home in our communities.

Solving a problem first involves being honest with ourselves and admitting the problem exists. Watching the video, it is very very difficult to believe this was not racially motivated, and were the races involved reversed I wonder what people would say about the motivations.

Now, you can go into tirades about all the other bad things other people have done, but how does that make us better people?

  305. USCKitty says:

    aziumin says:

That’s a common defense…I’m sure his racist quotes in the past were all sarcasm and slapstick humor…

  306. bonncaruso says:

Hey, do you all think this segregated bus thing will help the GOP win black, hispanic and asian votes in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2020, etc….?

    :) :) :)

    (evil, evil grin!)

  307. Right Conservative says:

Wow. I thought you “progressive” libbys actually would have learned from the “soccer Mom’s” or “SUVs” satire from a few years back. I know this style of humor is lost on you libbys, but try and listen the WHOLE broadcast instead of just castigating him for speaking the truth.

He was speaking of “Obama’s America” because this is where racism will still exists against white people. Especially since we were slave owners. We haven’t apologized enough yet.

  308. obamaswhiteman says:

I could not be more disappointed that a person like this even has a public speaking platform. However, I am a believer in free speech. With that said, it is my turn to speak freely. Rush, are you snorting oxy’s again? How is it that in this day and age someone can be as ignorant as you obviously are? People beat each other up because it is what happens among young adolescent males whose hormones are out of control. Maybe there was some racism there but racism is being kept alive by white people like you and black people like you. The same people that cannot let go of the past and just realize that we are all HUMAN BEINGS. Hey Rush, how about we segregate busses so that drug addicts have to be strapped to the roof of the bus? Or even better not let drug addicts on the bus because they are a social strain. Or even better let’s stop letting heavy people travel at all because it takes more fossil fuel to move a great big fat bastard like you from point a to point b. If you want to discriminate please make sure you do it across the board and include your fat drug addict ass in a group that disserves less than any one of us. Thanks and have a nice day.

  309. i aint you says:

Birds of a feather will flock together; humans naturally will naturally segregate themselves, according to beliefs, race, etc. But what I find ironically funny is that is seems only a true racist will be the first to scream racism, and the best part of it all – - it was your Resident Berry who started the fire again with his snide remarks

  310. USCKitty says:

Funny how the conservatives claim that racism is humor, when it is clear from Rush’s intent that he was not joking. Perhaps what is more telling is that for someone who constantly plays the race card, he knows he can fool his viewers into thinking it’s just sarcasm and slapstick humor. What you conservatives seem to want is a society where we are all free to express racism but not to be called out on it.

  311. USCKitty says:

What you conservatives fail to realize that this rhetoric can lead to violence. These so-called “jokes” have gotten people killed. I bet people weren’t laughing then. Racism is not innate but it can be learned and it is our responsibility to overcome our own prejudices and to call it out whenever it exists.

  312. USCKitty says:

oh lastly, IF it is humor, it tells more about the person making the racist “joke” than it does the people who are outraged over it. What does that tell you about your god, your idol, Rush?

  313. curettage says:

    USCKitty:
Newsweek had a cover story, which asked ‘Are children born racists?’ If the answer is ‘Yes’ then the incident on the bus in St.Louis WAS, more than likely, racial. Who is the bigger ASS?…Newsweek or Limbaugh??

  314. USCKitty says:

Yes, no one is denying that we have our own prejudices, but it is our responsibility to overcome them, unlike the majority of you on the other side who think well there’s nothing we can do about it. Trust me, overcoming our prejudices which we have learned whether subtly or not is one of the hardest things to achieve. Limbaugh wants a world where racism becomes acceptable except when directed towards whites.

  315. USCKitty says:

Ask any researcher who studies prejudice. This does not excuse any laziness towards overcoming our prejudices through learning. We as people are molded not only through nature but through nurture, you know what is innate and what our environment shows us. To cite these studies to justify racism is not only distorting the intent of those studies, but to further perpetuate the problem.

  316. USCKitty says:

If Limbaugh were sincere in claiming that there’s nothing we can do about it, why would he use this incident to stoke up resentment against President Obama? How come he’s quick to condemn the kids on the bus while ignoring racism on his side by trying to make African-Americans the sole racists. Did he have anything to say about the incident at the Cracker Barrel? No, of course not, because it wouldn’t resonate with the “white victimhood” picture he wants to paint in order to stir up the masses.

Lastly, before I sign off, he is being hypocritical when he seeks to compare racism as being innate to homosexuality. Even if he were to be shown that homosexuality is innate, would he accept being gay just as he accepts racism with a cavalier attitude? Face it, even if he was being sarcastic, the man has a history of making bigoted comments, most recently against Representative Frank, which you disturbingly dismiss with a cavalier attitude with nary a thought. Just because Rush wrote it on his webpage about how he’s a victim, you have to swallow it too, because it allows all of you on the right to wallow in self-pity as well.

So by your logic, conservatives must accept homosexuality as much as they seem to accept racism, because they are both innate.
