Newsmax removes column that called for military coup to resolve the ‘Obama problem.’

In a column published on the right-wing site Newsmax yesterday, John L. Perry writes that a military coup against President Obama is possible. Newsmax appears to have taken down the column from its website this morning. Media Matters has archived it, however:

obamamilitaryThere is a remote, although gaining, possibility America’s military will intervene as a last resort to resolve the “Obama problem.” Don’t dismiss it as unrealistic. [...]

Military intervention is what Obama’s exponentially accelerating agenda for “fundamental change” toward a Marxist state is inviting upon America. A coup is not an ideal option, but Obama’s radical ideal is not acceptable or reversible.

Unthinkable? Then think up an alternative, non-violent solution to the Obama problem. Just don’t shrug and say, “We can always worry about that later.”

In his Washington Post column, former Bush speechwriter Michael Gerson acknowledges that “military leaders seem impressed” with President Obama’s decision-making process. “Obama’s engaged, deliberate style has fans in the military,” he writes.

Update Media Matters notes that Perry’s rhetoric is simply a continuation of “a trend of increasingly violent and revolutionary rhetoric advanced by conservative media figures.”
Update A spokeswoman for Newsmax sent a statement to TPM admitting that the magazine removed the column after several reader complaints:

Newsmax strongly believes in the principles of Constitutional government and would never advocate or insinuate any suggestion of an activity that would undermine our democracy or democratic institutions.

  1. Red Pill says:

More conservative cowardice. Does Newsmax lack the courage to stand behind its convictions? And as for Perry, if he truly believes the treasonous dribble that he spouts, should he not have the fortitude to withstand public scrutiny?

  2. RUCerious says:

    Congratulations, traitors!
You stepped over that fine line between dissent and treason, and don’t try to hide behind the ’some people say that’.. bullsh!t.

I guess it’s okay only when they don’t hold the ball.

Seriously if you don’t like the current powers, then just wait 2 years for elections (yes I know the President is every 4). It may suck but hey we had to wait 6 years to get some kind of control back.

Whether a military coup is viable or not, is not really the issue for me. The mere thought of conservatives supporting such a blatantly racist move is incredulous! It seems that all we had to do was elect a Black president to embolden the racist, militaristic elements so prevalent in the conservative movement. What a bunch of political hypocrites!

Seriously, what a bunch of idiocy, written by a gaggle of mucking forons!

  19. Purple State says:

    What “Obama problem”?

Gee, Newsmax makes it sound like there’s a family of termites in the White House. You know, just call the GOPkin Man, and he’ll exterminate them libs!

Seriously, military force lurks under any government, even the US. Of course there is a capacity for a rebellion.

But is it necessary? So far all of the fear is driven by pundits that throw out conspiracies against SEIU, ACORN, George Soros, and the entire city of Chicago. There is no need to take back the White House and government by force, because there is no underlying threat.

Yes, I suppose I am “shrugging” at this. Now how about we cooperate to get things done about health care reform?

  20. EnnuiDivine says:

These people are truly horrified of a rather unimpressive centre-left president. Man. I can only imagine what would’ve happened if Kucinich won the election.

I think the reactionary right would’ve made him “disappear”.

These people whine and moan that they’re “afraid for their country”. With people advocating a military coup against the democratically (and very widely) elected President of the United States…I’d be terrified, too.

  21. bureaucrap says:

Fortunately, as the note points out, President Obama is actually quite popular in the military, because he actually listens to what is coming up the line, rather than dictating what he wants spouted back to him. So these right wingers are pretty much off in fantasy land.

If the administration had simply bailed out the automakers, the Righties would have been fine. What freaks them out is the decision to take a piece of GM in order to have a little control over how the money (our money) is spent, and to get some of it back. Because just throwing money at corporations is Good. Getting a little control, that’s SOCIALISMO! It proves that Obama really is Castrochavezhitlerosama. Pay attention!

And, more important, the GOP can’t stand not being in charge. As soon as they were chucked out, they threw everything they could find against the window, figuring something would stick for all the little GOPers.

The “Obama Problem” is that he hasn’t burst into tears and left office.

  27. stewarjt says:

What would the reaction be of the right wingers and the capitalist, corporate media if the same suggestion had been made during G.W. Bush’s presidency?

I was thinking something similar, it seems to be the same rhetorical technique.

Actually, many writers over many of years preceding the holocaust discussed the “Jewish question,” including Marx. The meme that there was a “problem” with having Jews in society as a separate culture had been long established and supported for generations until by the time the Nazis provided a “solution,” nobody was questioning the question any more.

So, what do we do about the Wingnut Question?

  41. ralph the wonder llama says:

joe cantwell, I’m going to have to diverge from your analysis in #37.

I think b-cup will show up, offer lukewarm “condemnation” of the column, but then will explain how someone on the Right could reasonably feel that way, and we should try to understand and address their concerns rather than simply dismiss and attack. That would be more “effective”.

I totally agree. This kind of talk is dangerous. My hope is moderate republicans, or the RINOs, start speaking up and quashing this, but I don’t see that as likely. I’ve said the same thing about Islam too. My fear is someone will take a shot, and that somehow the ringer talk show hosts will get charged with incitement or something. I am so puzzled by this perception that Obama is socialist. These blatant lies and distortions are not supported by his administration, in fact Obama is a centrist and not err “liberal” enough in my view. Take healthcare reform, he has allowed the house and senate to push forward the bills and plans, he hasn’t jumped in with his plan and shoved it down anyones throat. He has been vilified by the right wing nutballers from day one. His more liberal supporters the gays, and the folks that want to get our troops out of Afghanistan and Iraq are not happy either. In my opinion Obama is trying to please too many people and trying to please people who literally smear him and want him to fail.I think being too nice is not working for him, and he needs to take the gloves off and move the agenda forward, fully realizing we will never please the right. The fact that these wingnuts can’t figure out that the only constitutional solution to the “Obama problem” — whatever that means — is to win an election tells you all you need to know about their twisted, undemocratic mindset. Think about it. The same people who cited the president’s status as commander in chief of the armed forces to justify Bush running the entire bill of rights (other than the second amendment of course) through the shredder now advocate having a military coup depose the president for the sake of restoring the constitution. If they want a dictatorship lets send them to Burma or North Korea. If they want government off their backs let them go to Somalia. This treason does not however belong in the U.S.

  72. The Dogfather says:

“Unthinkable? Then think up an alternative, non-violent solution to the Obama problem.”

Even if there was an “Obama problem”, here’s an alternative, non-violent solution — a little thing we like to call an election. That’s how we solved the “republican problem” last November, wingnuts.

Of course, your problem with that solution is (a) it’s non-violent; and (b) you keep losing elections because the majority of Americans agree with us rather than with you

  74. shoeless says:

For 30 years, the goal of the right has been to turn the U.S. into a third world country. They began a systematic attack on the middle class. The destruction of the labor movement and outsourcing of American jobs was just the first step. The tax burden was shifted from the uppper class and the corporations to the middle class. That being accomplished, they proceeded to bankrupt the government, and allow the bankers to create an economic depression.

All was going according to plan until Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, and the American people finally woke to see what the fascist right-wing had done to their country. It was bad enough for them when they lost control of Congress, but losing the White House really put a crimp in their plans. Even worse, they lost to a black man.

Only eight months later, they are calling for the ultimate solution for creating a third world dictatorship. When all else fails, stage a military coup, and install a strongman, like Pinochet, or Saddam Hussein as dictator.

  75. Parlezvous says:

John Perry appears to be a nut job of the first magnitude and stupid as well. He disclaims that he is recommending the coup option yet goes on to describe how it would work. He’s apparently to stupid to realize that his services would be of no benefit to the new “interim” government and he would be eliminated, but “bloodlessly”.

Perry and his ilk must have gotten into some really potent mescaline and are hallucinating non-stop at heir laptops.

It would be comical to see him brought before the Congress and quizzed for several days about what he might know about any coup planning.

We’ve already had a “bloodless coup.” It was in late 2000. A conservative Supreme Court halted the counting of votes in Florida and installed Bush as President. Subsequent counting by a consortium of representatives from both parties, the media and higher education confirmed that if all the votes had been counted in Florida, Gore would have won.

And, American conservatives have already tried a military coup in 1933 to remove FDR from office. A group of wealthy industrialists and bankers who admired the way Hitler was running Germany decided to foment an armed takeover of the capital. Luckily, the General they wanted to lead the revolt, General Smedley Butler, punked them and went to the authorities.

When the Reich Wing nut jobs start talking about gun control we should be very wary of their intentions. All it would take would be the death of a member of Congress at the hands of a gun-totting assassin. Keep in mind that the Reich has always been in bed with the NRA and that the NRA knows who has guns but not who doesn’t. I’m sure that the NRA would gladly rat out who owns guns when pressed by rogue members of Congress.

They persecuted Jimmy Carter manipulating the economy and boosting interest rates then making sure the hostages weren’t released so Reagan could take office. Then they blamed Bill Clinton of everything including the death of Vince Foster until they decided to impeach him for lying about consensual sex. Something that was irrelevant and he shouldn’t have been asked about in the first place. Then they blatantly stole the presidency from Al Gore and less blatantly from John Kerry. And THEY’RE the ones who are angry. Now they’ve vilified ACORN and Van Jones successfully and we’re not standing up and defending them.

For about half of his article, Perry was only discussing a possibility. He was clearly toeing the line between talking about a hypothetical and literally advocating a coup. However, he clearl vaulted across that line towards the end of the article:

Unthinkable? Then think up an alternative, non-violent solution to the Obama problem. Just don’t shrug and say, “We can always worry about that later.”

At this point he is literally advocating the possibility he was previously exploring.

    .

    amusedveteran says:

  145. flight says:

Nemsmax’s own readers complained about Perry’s article?

Could it be that Perry’s article crossed a line that many Republicans were upset enough to compel Newsmax to pull the article?

I think the significance maybe “enough is enough”.

The Republicans are taking a beating with a series of recent events associated with this party’s conduct and rhetoric; that projection is not flattering. The fundamental question of Presidents Obama’s fitness to govern is being contrast to the 8 years of Bush, and the 10 months of no cooperation and fear mongering, this at a time when American troops are on two fronts and an economic mess to rectify. Obama does not have to remind the public of the ownership of these problems, it speaks for itself.

Those complaints of the Newsmax readers may be indicative of a major shift with in the Republican rank and file. They have grown tired and uneasy concerning the rhetoric and direction of the Republican Party.

If the poor working stiff hanging from a tree in Kentucky didn’t awaken the sensible part of the Republican Party, it appears this article may just have.

Well good to know the goverment has Thomas Jefferson rolling over in his grave.

The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.

Have you folks not been paying attention to the goverment, wire taps, unlawful detention, the very destruction of our rights. If I say the goverment should be overthrown that the tree of liberty is well past time to be refreshed, I can be seen as advocating overthrow of government by sharing the opinon of one of this goverments own former CiCs. We live with the illusion of freedom, for there is no freedom if with just a word the goverment can take it away. I dont buy into the obama problem, the problem is the goverment regardless of what face you put on it, untill the people of this union regain control of their own destiny there will always be a problem, just the names change, the corruption stays the same.

I’m not paranoid. do the people of this counrty fear its government? yes. And ill remind you of that when shock troops show up at your door when you say something they didnt like, when i can be arrested for my opinion, theres something wrong.

After you overthrow the government, what happens next? Will there be no “government” forever? Will we all get magical ponies? How is anarchy going to work in the long run?

i never stated anarchy was the way to go, i stated that the goverment needed to be taken out and a new more for the people one put in, nobody goes out with a no government agenda, they go out with a better government agenda, when your mind doesnt comprehend the reality of the world maybe you should get off that magical pony, the nice men in their clean white coats have a place to help you with that.

“Whether a military coup is viable or not, is not really the issue for me. The mere thought of conservatives supporting such a blatantly racist move is incredulous! It seems that all we had to do was elect a Black president to embolden the racist, militaristic elements so prevalent in the conservative movement. What a bunch of political hypocrites!

It’s not about race, idiot, it’s about this:If George Bush Was An Idiot……

If George W. Bush had been the first President to need a teleprompter installed to be able to get through a press conference, would you have laughed and said this is more proof of how inept he is on his own and is really controlled by smarter men behind the scenes?

If George W. Bush had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to take Laura Bush to a play in NYC, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had reduced your retirement plan’s holdings of GM stock by 90% and given the unions a majority stake in GM, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had made a joke at the expense of the Special Olympics, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had given Gordon Brown a set of inexpensive and incorrectly formatted DVDs, when Gordon Brown had given him a thoughtful and historically significant gift, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had given the Queen of England an iPod containing videos of his speeches, would you not have thought this embarrassingly narcissistic and tacky?

If George W. Bush had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had visited Austria and made reference to the non-existent “Austrian language,” would you have brushed it off as a minor slip?

If George W. Bush had filled his cabinet and circle of advisers with people who cannot seem to keep current in their income taxes, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had been so Spanish illiterate as to refer to “Cinco de Cuatro” in front of the Mexican ambassador when it was the 5th of May (Cinco de Mayo), and continued to flub it when he tried again, would you have winced in embarrassment?

If George W. Bush had mis-spelled the word “advice” would you have hammered him for it for years like Dan Quayle and potatoe as proof of what a dunce he is?

If George W. Bush had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on Earth Day, would you have concluded he’s a hypocrite?

If George W. Bush’s administration had okayed Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually get what happened on 9-11?

If George W. Bush had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout the Midwest with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orleans , would you want it made into a major ongoing political issue with claims of racism and incompetence?

If George W. Bush had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?

If George W Bush had proposed to double the national debt, which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had then proposed to double the debt again within 10 years, would you have approved?

So, tell me again, what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and impressive? Can’t think of anything? Don’t worry….he’s done all this in 5 months — so you’ll have three years and seven months to come up with an answer. SCARY! Wonder what else he’ll do in that time??? Subsitute “racist” for “policy”.

I have thought for a long time that some of these “stoopid” individuals were coming very close to “an act of Treason”. Now I feel that this group has committed the Act of Treason and I want them charged, tried, convicted and sentenced! I am serious about this; I am sick and tired of all of these hypocrites cite their “love for their country” and yet try to destroy it. They yell about immigrants and how they are so against them; they also scream about Muslims in the Middle East as being “terrorists”, when these miscreants thugs are the real “TERRORISTS”.

I want all of them investigated asap. Something must be done to shut these fools down, right now. I can’t stand the sound nor sight on them even on television- “foaming” at the mouth with hysteria and screaming like idiots. They need to be dealt with now, not later, so that they will know these actions will not be allowed to continue any longer.

  153. dragonscars says:

got to love your support for the freedom of speach there MaryEllen, guess next we should start stonning all those folks who have a different opinon than you

But this Presidency was legitimately ELECTED BY THE MAJORITY OF THE PEOPLE. So it is NO BETTER Government agenda for us; it appears that it is you that is dissatisfied with this government. Why don’t you leave this country and go find another one – tomorrow?

  155. MaryEllen Galloway says:

#154..” MaryEllen, guess next we should start stonning all those folks who have a different opinon than you.”"

Why not; it makes as much sense as you do when you speak about getting rid of a legitimately elected President/government! How dare you insinuate you want a “do-over” to elect a President that YOU want. Pretty stupid and selfish!

  156. Trollspotter says:

    Zeptepi0101 says:

    What if George Bush Had…?

Here’s a refutation of these points that I noticed online:

If George W. Bush had given Gordon Brown a set of inexpensive and incorrectly formatted DVDs, when Gordon Brown had given
him a thoughtful and historically significant gift, would you have approved?

Presidents very seldom are the ones who select the “gifts” in these exchanges. A low-level staffer made the decision to give Brown DVDs of 25 classic American movies, because Brown is known as a movie buff.

If George W. Bush had given the Queen of England an iPod containing videos of his speeches, would you have thought this
    embarrassingly narcissistic and tacky?

Right wing lie. The iPod contained no Obama speeches… only American music that the queen is very fond of. The queen was reportedly very happy with the gift.

If George W. Bush had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia, would you have approved?

George W. Bush kissed the King of Saudi Arabia on the lips.

If George W. Bush had visited Austria and made reference to the non-existent “Austrian language,” would you have brushed it off as a minor slip?

The reason this verbal slip by Obama is remembered is because it is so rare. Books have been written containing nothing but verbal slips by Bush. Only Yogi Berra rivals Bush in this department.

If George W. Bush had filled his cabinet and circle of advisers with people who cannot seem to keep current on their income taxes, would you have approved?

Bush filled his cabinet with war criminals and cronies (”Heckuva job, Brownie!”).

If George W. Bush had been so Spanish illiterate as to refer to “Cinco de Cuatro” in front of the Mexican ambassador when it was the fourth of May (Cuatro de Mayo), and continued to flub it when he tried again, would you have winced in embarrassment?

Again… only notable because of its rarity. George “is our children learning?” Bush was the king of gaffes.

If George W. Bush had mis-spelled the word advice would you have hammered him for it for years like Dan Quayle and potatoe as “proof” of what a dunce he is?

    This never happened.

If George W. Bush had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on “Earth Day”, would you have concluded he’s a hypocrite?

Um… every Presidential trip burns jet fuel. Obama’s trip wasn’t *JUST* to plant a tree. That was one five-minute event in an otherwise full day of events.

If George W. Bush’s administration had okayed Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually “get” what happened on 9-11?

Obama didn’t okay this. And the person responsible for it was reprimanded and resigned.

If George W. Bush had been the first President to need a teleprompter installed to be able to get through a press conference, would you have laughed and said this is more proof of how he inept he is on his own and is really controlled by smarter men behind the scenes?

Every President since Jimmy Carter has used a teleprompter. George Bush used a teleprompter for every major speech of his presidency. As for the teleprompter at press conferences… it was only used for the opening statement and not used at all during the Q&A portions of the press conference.

If George W. Bush had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout the Midwest with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orlean , would you want it made into a major ongoing political issue with claims of racism and incompetence?

    Lie. Relief aid WAS sent.

If George W. Bush had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?

Once the government took over control of GM, the government *DID* have the right to hire and fire top management. And the reason the government took over GM is because of Bush’s incompetence.

If George W. Bush had proposed to double the national debt, which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year, would you have approved?

The stimulus package was necessary because of the Bush Depression. The national debt more than doubled during Bush’s term, and no Republican uttered a peep about it.

If George W. Bush had then proposed to double the debt again within 10 years, would you have approved?

    Obama hasn’t proposed this. Lie.

If George W. Bush had reduced your retirement plan’s holdings of GM stock by 90% and given the unions a majority stake in GM, would you have approved?

George W. Bush’s Depression is what caused this, not Obama

If George W. Bush had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to take Laura Bush to a play in NYC, would you have approved?

George W. Bush spent 41% of his presidency on vacation. He took 75 trips to Crawford Texas, totaling in the 10s of millions of dollars. Disingenuous lie.

So, tell me again, what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and impressive?

For one, he’s turned around Bush’s Depression in 6 months.

Can’t think of anything? Don’t worry.
He’s done all this in 6 months — so you’ll have three years and six months to come up with an answer.

Wrong. We have 7 years and 6 months.

    Zeptepi0101 says:

Jimmy Carter was the first President to use a teleprompter. Every President since has used one, including George W. Bush, his father, Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan.

    .

    Zeptepi0101 says:

If George W. Bush had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to take Laura Bush to a play in NYC, would you have approved?

As long as he spent his own money doing it. However, his vacations are legendary.

    .

    Zeptepi0101 says:

If George W. Bush had reduced your retirement plan’s holdings of GM stock by 90% and given the unions a majority stake in GM, would you have approved?

As opposed to letting GM go completely bankrupt and dissolve? Sure! Also, yay for unions.

    .

    Zeptepi0101 says:

If George W. Bush had made a joke at the expense of the Special Olympics, would you have approved?

Here’s mine: George W. Bush was a joke at the expense of the Special Olympics. What do I win? But seriously, wtf are you talking about?

    .

    Zeptepi0101 says:

If George W. Bush had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia, would you have approved?

Only if he moved in for a liplock.

Also, Obama did not bow. The last thing you want us to look at is the Bush/Saud connection. Seriously, for your sake, distract us from that.

    .

    Zeptepi0101 says:

If George W. Bush had filled his cabinet and circle of advisers with people who cannot seem to keep current in their income taxes, would you have approved?

As long as they paid up according to the appropriate forms for doing so before they took office.

    .

    Zeptepi0101 says:

If George W. Bush had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on Earth Day, would you have concluded he’s a hypocrite?

How many people planted trees because they were led by that example?

    .

    Zeptepi0101 says:

If George W. Bush’s administration had okayed Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually get what happened on 9-11?

The administration or GWB himself? I’m confused at what level you’re blaming this screw-up on. I’m sure we can all agree it’s a screw-up, but I wouldn’t have blamed Bush personally for it.

    .

    Zeptepi0101 says:

If George W. Bush had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout the Midwest with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orleans , would you want it made into a major ongoing political issue with claims of racism and incompetence?

    Failed? Citation, please.

    .

    Zeptepi0101 says:

If George W. Bush had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?

Only if the CEO was demanding free government money so his company wouldn’t go bankrupt, and if it was clear that he had no intention of changing the policies that lead to his company’s near-bankruptcy.

    .

    Zeptepi0101 says:

If George W Bush had proposed to double the national debt, which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had then proposed to double the debt again within 10 years, would you have approved?

Here is what George W. Bush did to the national debt. It’s considerably more than 20x when he started. Considerably.

    .

    Zeptepi0101 says:

If George W. Bush had visited Austria and made reference to the non-existent “Austrian language,” would you have brushed it off as a minor slip?

If George W.

These are mere gaffes, and Bush has made hundreds at least as bad as these.

    .

It’s been eight months… Your post is copy/paste plagiarism.

OK, I owe Trollspotter a case of cokes.

I’d just like to reiterate here that every single bullet point Zeptepi0101 presented was 100% wrong. Do you know what you get when you pile up an enormous shit-ton of false propositions? Hint: it’s not a true proposition. Maybe the wingnuts should try a different tactic about now.

MaryEllen, ill make a deal with you ill leave the country as soon as all the non us citizens leave, secondly the goverment wasnt elected it was formed, now its like a parisite on the people, if your choices are dumb or dumber you take the more qualified idiot, i didnt vote for any of them, therfor if i think they suck, im allowed to say so, and damn that freedom of speach that allows me to. its not treason to have the opinion that our goverment has outlived its usefullness to the american people, and is more about political sides and who has the deepest wallets than bringing our people into a happy and productive society. my only real issue with obama is i tend to think he must of skipped math, if we have a negative number and we spend we end up with a bigger negative number, just because obama can spend money we dont have doesnt mean the rest of the country can, two if a companies going bankrupt, where does it make sence to bail them out, if they knew how to run their company they wouldnt be going bankrupt, guess they must be taking math lessons from obama

The best revenge is that Obama is only 9 months into his probable 8 years in office, and then another Democrat will take over, and then another one, and then another one. The Republicans are done in this Country for at least 30 years. And it’s their own fault. Their party is becoming smaller and smaller. Narrower and narrower. Don’t worry tho, Wingnuts…We’ll pick up the slack! And we’ll leave you with your mean nasty little world. Have fun! Don’t forget to write!
