Michael Savage says Glenn Beck does a ‘reasonably good job copying people who are brighter than him.’

On his radio show yesterday, Michael Savage took issue with the Obama administration’s accusations of partisanship against Fox News, calling the entire controversy a “kabuki play” generated for ratings and a bid for News Corporation (Fox News’ parent company) to expand business. Savage also took aim at Glenn Beck, saying Beck might soon be muzzled with a “bit in his mouth” by his bosses at Fox News. Savage proceeded to call Beck a dim-witted con artist:

SAVAGE: Within 90 days, he has got a bit in his mouth and he’s moving on to something else. [...] I’m not impressed by him. I’ve seen the act before. I’m not for him or against him, he does a reasonably good job copying people who are brighter than him who have done their work before him and taking as many ideas from as many people as he can without giving anyone credit. I get that. There’s nothing new about that either. But, my prediction is he’s got a bit put in his mouth very very fast and or he’s going to be fired.

Listen here:

Savage isn’t the only top far-right talker to trash Beck. Last month, Mark Levin, another top 10 radio show host, called Beck “mindless,” “incoherent,” and “pathetic.”

  13. pags2 says:

Strangely enough, I agree with Savage. Beck will be gone in the near future because of the advertising controversy. More important, is the fact that Beck is going way beyond the Republican talking points when he is expounding. In fact, Beck is denouncing the Republicans and that puts him at odds with the management. My bet is on Fox already looking for Beck’s replacement. The clock is ticking and when Beck’s ratings start dropping, Fox can dump him.

Now he is Savagely attacking Glenn.

Don’t give me this crap that they’re doing it out of a sacred ritual or rite. It’s not required by the Quran that a woman walk around in a seventh-century drape. She’s doing it to spit in your face. She’s saying, “You white moron, you, I’m going to kill you if I can.” That’s how I see it!

God abhors a spiritual vacuum. That is why he has permitted, in fact probably not only permitted, but in a way orchestrated the rise of radical Islam.

[...] It’s becoming increasingly clear to me that God wants radical Islam on this planet at this time — that it’s not actually the scourge you think it is. What it is — it’s a counterpoint to the Romanization of the United States of America and the West. The collapse — the spiritual collapse of the West, the death of the West in that regard, is being countered by the birth of fanatic religion, which is fundamentally a fanatic love of God, when you think about it.

[...] And God, who is the center of this monotheistic religion, has said, “Oh, you don’t worship me anymore? Oh, you don’t like me anymore? Oh, I don’t exist anymore? Really? All right, I’m going to show you boys in Hollywood and you girls in New York City that I do exist. But since you’re very hard-headed, stiff-necked people, and you don’t really believe that I exist because you’ve gotten away with everything you’ve done all your life without any repercussions, I’m going to show you I exist in a way that you can’t believe.” Down came the World Trade Center towers. That was God speaking.

“California, unfortunately, is in the hands of the far-left homosexual mafia. They unfortunately don’t even understand what’s good for them. They don’t understand that voting on the left side of everything is actually in their disinterest, not in their interest — that if they gay community ever understood what’s in their interest they’d become conservatives, by and large. But they are also very confused, as anyone could figure out by their death-style.”

Somewhat OT but for your inspection..Another poem in progress

    Teabagger Bob

Let me inform you of my neighbor Bob
He’s ok to talk to but dumb as a knob
He told me today that our country is doomed
I asked him Bob, What’s the cause of your gloom

He said that Obama, Our new president
Is out to destroy us through our government
He’s going to tax us till there’s no tomorrow
And that, my neighbor, is the cause of my sorrow

Bob, you have to make two hundred grand
To see any increase in the Obama tax plan
And I’m glad to hear that you earn so much pay
Or you would’nt worry what the rightwingers say

He said that Obama is really a Muslim
And I’m a good christian so there’s no way I’d trust him
He was’nt born in this country we’re in
The man refuses to wear a flag pin

Well Bob, I fear you are out of your mind
Hawaii gained statehood back in fifty-nine
And why would a Muslim worship and sing
In a church of God where Jesus is King

So Bob said “Obama wants to kill Grandma
and send out his thugs to promote euthenasia
and dont try to tell me that this I do’nt know
That sweet little Sarah Palin said so”

OK Bob, So you would rather a lawyer
fight for the rights of your family’s disorder
of failing to plan for the loss of a love mate
and suffer the loss of control over probate

So Bob said “Obama used schools by coercion
to brainwash our kids to a life of perversion
these clinics in schools are just a shrewed way
to abbort all those babies without parent’s say”

So Bob, do you really think that our schools
would be guilty of claims by conservitive fools
and if it were true and we’re sheep led to slaughter
Then what would it say about your own daughter

So Bob said, “Obama wants to make guns illegal
And build FEMA death camps for conservative people
He will lock up the people who dare disagree
He is not like us, I’m surprised you cant see”

Well Bob, I ca’nt see why you travel to places
Where people hang teabags in each other’s faces
But they never admit that their fear from within
has much more to do with the shade of his skin

Then Teabagger Bob, became very angry
He then used the “N” word, it’s always so handy
‘He’s a Nazi!” he said, as his face turned beat red
When he takes all my rights I’ll be better off dead

Hey Bob, Are you nuts, or just drinking too much
I never knew you were so out of touch
So how do you come to belive those stranges views
He said “I know the truth because I watch Fox News”

  77. EdgeOnIt says:

Huh? It may be that in the original academic discernment of ’societal systems’, when it had become apparant that America was not “going any where, any time soon,” studies commenced with the idea of an overly large number of choices from which to select appropriate systems for study and analysis.

Quickly, it seems, the debate raged, systems were isolated, then recombined, coupled and then decoupled, yet a few (more reserved temperments) held out for the idea of a rich and complex society, one where the mystery of the group, and the individual, remained largely, unsolved!

IMO, in place of a ready ‘boiler-plate’ or model of society, a helpful pattern weaved its winding way, through a miriad of others in sociological literature: the appositive. As far as places, objects, people, events and ideas, what (a process)is not, yields the opposite-of some other, desired result!?

To “save the United States,” lawmakers should institute “outright ban on Muslim immigration” and on “the construction of mosques.”

”90 percent of the people on the Nobel Committee are into child pornography and molestation, according to the latest scientific studies.”

All other quotes I sent in were by Mike Savage. I don’t agree with him! Sheesh! I was showing how horrible he is! Don’t you know me by now?

At 9:08pm, I was saying that he was so bad that the neo-Nazi Stormfront loves him, despite the fact that he is Jewish. You gotta admit that’s pretty unusual. I was not disparaging Jewish people. Many of my heroes are Jewish.

  101. TyRockwell says:

How dare Beck air film clips and quotes of White House advisers approving Mao and Hugo Chavez!! He must have made them say it!

  102. Keith says:

    TyRock,

Like me giving a Savage quote is not approving him, someone quoting Mao—like McCain and Newt Gingrich and many others have done—is not approving them.

Holding Democrats to standards that you would never hold conservatives to is biased.

Politics is war without bloodshed while war is politics with bloodshed.

Investigation may be likened to the long months of pregnancy, and solving a problem to the day of birth. To investigate a problem is, indeed, to solve it.

Once all struggle is grasped, miracles are possible.

The world is yours, as well as ours, but in the last analysis, it is yours. You young people, full of vigour and vitality, are in the bloom of life, like the sun at eight or nine in the morning. Our hope is placed on you.

You’ve got to stand for something or you will fall for anything.

“The differences between friends cannot but reinforce their friendship”

    “Let one thousand flowers bloom”

“In time of difficulties, we must not lose sight of our achievements”

“In waking a tiger, use a long stick.”

“Our attitude towards ourselves should be ”to be satiable in learning” and towards others ”to be tireless in teaching.””

Please explain in great detail how the above quotes are wrong and conservatives would not use them. It’s just Chinese philosophy, not a political system or an economic system.

  103. EugeneDebs says:

    Beefeater

Since YOU are the stupidest pile of dogshit to blow on to this site in quite a while. YOU calling something mindless really doesnt mean anything. Just because YOU are too stupid to understand something doesnt mean a reasonably bright six year old wouldnt understand it. Fact is you are STUPID. Incredibly, mind numbingly STUPID. So do us a favor and STFU. You are just too stupid to take seriously

  104. EugeneDebs says:

So Ty are you REALLY that stupid or just another brainwashed moron who only knows what you think once Rush tells you what it is? This has been gone over a hundred times. Only the stupidest people on the planet take such an ignorant talking point seriously.

  105. Jigolo says:

Glennda Beck’s show is just that: performance art disguised as “news-talk”, complete with props, music, and acting.

  106. estetik says:

He’s quite an expert on the kabuki play; its what he’s always done estetik: attack the current most popular right wing mouthpiece in the hopes they’ll attack back and promulgate his name to their listeners estetik burun ameliyati. He’s tried this with Limbaugh, Hannity and O’Reilly gögüs büyütme. He’s a two-trick pony. His other bit is to claim he’s the genius and others are stealing from him estetik gögüs ameliyatlari: his claim that he invented “compassionate conservative” and the Bush campaign never gave him credit gögüs küçültme. He’s as transparent as a jellyfish, but with only half the brain power vajina daraltma. Beck is the biggest asset the progressives have. His outrageous performances, his incredible incompetence lazer epilasyon fiyatlari, his legion of ignorant sycophants virtually guarantee the the Republican and Conservative right will alienate intelligent karin germe ameliyatlari, thoughtful, critically thinking Americans, and alienate conservative/liberal fence sitters plastik cerrahi. Whenever I see Beck and hear his words, I see an adolescent craving attention with poor mimicry, puerile behaviors, and chaotic thinking karin estetigi. I hope all the lowbrows in America are drawn to Beck and aglomerated by the wingnut manipulators saç nakli. And I hope Savage and Limpballs and all the rest of their ilk suffer as a result gögüs büyütme. It is wonderful to see them tear each other apart as they strive for attention gögüs diklestirme. And of course, they tear apart the carefully woven fabric of conservative America that big money, K Street, and the Religionists have woven over many years gögüs küçültme. I am unlike some of the other readers here. I sometimes – though not always – enjoy listening to Savage vajina daraltma ameliyati. He is bright and talented. Unfortunately he does have this unfortunate tendency to exhibit jealousy, if not spiteful envy, toward his competitors, such as the “golfer,” the “hemorrhoid with ears,” the “wall-banger,” the “Leprechaun,” gögüs estetigi etc.
