NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell testified to the House Judiciary Committee today about “legal issues related to football head injuries.” However, Rep. Steve King (R-IA) decided to use the hearing as an opportunity to defend Rush Limbaugh and quiz Goodell on why the hate radio host couldn’t become an owner of a team, even while “offensive” musicians like Fergie and J-Lo (who have “alleged that the CIA are terrorists and liars” and “used…verbal pornography”) can. “In fact I don’t think that anything Rush Limbaugh said was offensive,” added King. Although he requested that Goodell apologize to Limbaugh, the NFL commissioner never did so, repeating his belief that Limbaugh’s comments about Donovan McNabb were offensive and inappropriate. Watch it:
However, Rep. Steve King (R-IA) decided to use the hearing as an opportunity to defend Rush Limbaugh and quiz Goodell on why the hate radio host couldn’t become an owner of a team
Oh, that’s easy; because the consortium of investors who wanted to purchase the team forced Limbaugh out of their group.
Apparently the Republican Party now wants to tell private citizens who they must do business with–how fascistic of them!
October 28th, 2009 at 5:02 pmWell King we already knew you are offensively stupid. If you dont know of anything Rush said that is offensive then you are just too stupid to even enter the conversation.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:03 pmWho are the idiots who voted for this hayseed? By the way saltine, that apology ain’t coming and you might instruct that fat, bloated junkie not to refer to the President as BOY! African American like myself don’t take to kindly to pastie faced, doughy, people like Limmbaugh are the dredges of society. By the way, it was Dave Checkettes who got him booted from consideration. King is a klansmen to me and should be treated as such. I’d suggest the rest of you saltines stop voting for this one. He makes all of you look stupid!
October 28th, 2009 at 5:03 pmThis guy is a creep. Demanding Goodell to apoligize? Who does he think he is? I haven’t heard Limpballs apoligize for any of the racist things he has ever said. And Goodell can do what he damn well pleases. Does King think he’s a King? Apparently so.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:04 pmRep. King is acting like a nincompoop. Everybody knows that Rushbo’s remarks are racial and divisive and that just doesn’t square with settled NFL policy on how to keep peace in the locker rooms throughout the league. This is deliberate stupidity for the sake of political grandstanding. Nothing more.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:05 pm“In fact I don’t think that anything Rush Limbaugh said was offensive,” added King.
———–
We know you don’t sweetums. We know.
The thing of it is, I really don’t think Limbaugh should have been prevented from becoming a part owner of the Rams, though I’m thrilled that so many people who work within the NFL said they’d have nothing to do with the team if he did. To my way of thinking (such as it is) that seems right. Personally, I think if enough players and coaches and management continued to say they wouldn’t ork for the Rams if Limbaugh were a co-owner, the group of which Limbaugh was a part would’ve had to drop him anyway. There didn’t need to be that kind of pressure exerted from the top down, it would’ve worked out the same way in a few extra days.
Either that, or the Rams would’ve been the first all-white football team in decades.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:06 pmDuring House hearing on concussions, Rep. King defends Limbaugh and demands Goodell apologize to him.
– - How’s that Presidential bid goin’ Steve? And Steve, the defunct Iowa Barnburners of the Arena League don’t qualify as an NFL team.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:07 pmIt’s good to see what Rep. King thinks is appropriate business for the House of Representatives.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:07 pmAre the people from the states that vote for these yokels even a little responsible for these loons? I seriously wonder if we shouldn’t consider givening apptitude tests to people before we allow them to vote. They appear to be in why over their heads at the voting booth!
October 28th, 2009 at 5:07 pm“Have you ever noticed how all composite pictures of wanted criminals resemble Jesse Jackson?” – Rush Limbaugh
“Take that bone out of your nose and call me back.” – Rush Limbaugh
Rush Limbaugh acknowledged making these statements in a 1990 Newsday article.
http://www.snopes.com/politics/quotes/limbaugh.asp
Rush Limbaugh = racist.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:10 pmI can’t believe King used this forum to question Goodell! What balls! It had nothing to do with the hearing. King wanted to score political points with his ‘base’ AND Limpballs. Jesus, this guy makes my skin crawl.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:11 pmKing?
October 28th, 2009 at 5:12 pmhttp://newsone.com/obama/top-10-racist-limbaugh-quotes/
Peter king apparently doesn’t understand why Rush Limbaugh’s comment about Donovan McNabb was racist. Limbaugh implied McNabb got more credit than he deserved for the success of the Eagles football team was because he is Black. King doesn’t see this as a racist comment, please let him know it is.
Hi email address is:
October 28th, 2009 at 5:12 pmPete.King@mail.house.gov
“the NFL looks like a fight between the Crips and the Bloods”?
October 28th, 2009 at 5:13 pmHe’s an admitted drug abuser, isn’t that enough? How about the fact that he was busted for smuggling drugs while on probation for abusing drugs, and the bush dept of justice looked the other way? Do you really want that can of worms opened, king?
October 28th, 2009 at 5:14 pmMr. King, you do know that the content of some of those songs get bleeped out, correct?
If that’s the case and you push for Limbaugh’s reinstatement as a minority owner, then Limbaugh will have to get the same treatment.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:15 pmWhat an incredible fool this King guy is! This was all about concussions and whats this tool do? Lets make it all about Oxy-Limbaugh. I feel sorry for the good folks of Iowa who have to suffer the shame and embarassment this man brings to that fine state. You vote out Grassley and this tool and the shame ends!
October 28th, 2009 at 5:15 pmKing, you represent the people of your state not the one Limbaugh resides in.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:16 pmThe Limpball comment was besides the point. THIS wasn’t the time or place to defend Limpballs! This is the tax payers business. What a suck up. You better believe Rushbo will mention this to his ‘DittoHeads’. King is a sleaze, pure and simple.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:18 pmAnd WTF kind of comparison is a singer to the cia versus a biased sports announcer to becoming part owner of a NFL team?
Bizarro.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:19 pmRemember when there was talk of Condi Rice eyeing Goodell’s job? I wonder if King would have demanded that Condi apologize if she’d been commissioner.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:21 pmTrollspotter says
October 28th, 2009 at 5:10 pm
Rush Limbaugh = racist.
___________________________________________________________
Yes, this is obvious to any thinking person. However, if Rep. King can’t see what’s offensive about Limbaugh’s comments, he is just as racist.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:22 pmHey, Rep King, why don’t you and Rush set up a lingerie football team in Amana, IA. Er. On second thought…
October 28th, 2009 at 5:22 pm“Does King think he’s a King? Apparently so.” and I just happen to be reading this paper..
Q: What is conservatism?
A: Conservatism is the domination of society by an aristocracy.

October 28th, 2009 at 5:23 pmRe: roxsteady @ 3:
I(diots) O(ut) W(alking) A(round) voted for him.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:23 pmKing doesn’t strike me as someone who would listen to Fergie or JLo. How odd, not to mention offensive, he invoked them in a contrast and compare with anything that Limbaugh says.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:23 pmNote to Mr. King…The CIA are liars, and your friend Limbaugh is a mysogynistic bigot. The NFL came to Congress to address real issues facing football players not get an earful from an ill mannered member of the House.
Um…King DOES know that it wasn’t Goodell who booted Limbaugh out of the bidding process; it was Limbaugh’s bidding partners — doesn’t he?
October 28th, 2009 at 5:23 pmI agree that Rush does have a football like head and its been injured, but that was done volutarily and through drug abuse.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:24 pmIs J-Lo planning on investing with other singers and buying the CIA team?
Good Geez Mr King, seriously????
October 28th, 2009 at 5:26 pmI would’ve asked how team ownership was relevant to head injuries and why the rep was bringing a private business matter into a public, unrelated venue. Talk about offensive and inappropriate, not the place for personal vendettas.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:27 pmRight. The honorable Representative King also questions Obama’s citizenship, is proud of voting against aid for Katrina flood victims even though his district is in a major flood zone and has spread the idea that Democrats want to kill your Grandmother.
Are the Hoosiers in his district paying attention? I hope so.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:29 pmI noticed MSM said nothing about Kings comments, but they had no problem releasing Grayson’s quote that was made a MONTH ago.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:31 pmWhy of course King did not think Limpblob was offensive, Racists usually don’t.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:31 pmWell, yea, Limbaugh’s racist, sexist, defaming comments aren’t offensive if you agree with them, congressman. The things King has said this year about Obama, ACORN, Kevin Jennings and others is much more offensive than anything J-Lo and Fergie have said.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:32 pmRush will meet you at Louis Bar at 10pm for your blow job Steve.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:37 pmGeesh!
October 28th, 2009 at 5:37 pmKing really went out of his way to suck up to that hippo. Makes ya wonder if the two have a little something going on, if ya know what i mean? (nudge, nudge, wink, wink).
does limpballs have a little sex slave in the congressman from iowa?
inquiring minds want to know!
This King and Peter King (R-NY) are in competition for the biggest jerks in Congress! A pair of Jokers who don’t mind exposing themselves as hate filled ignorant, clowns who should be thumped on the head.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:39 pmWhat a scummy little weasel he is.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:41 pmHawkeye says:

@40, Got pawned? Are you serious? If anything, King looked like an ass.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:43 pmKing didn’t just go off the reservation with this one. He left the solar system. I declare Goodell the winner. He did not back down from his position. I hope Goodell has some special words for King when he speaks to him after the hearing.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:43 pmStorm, did Goodell apologize? Did Rush get his team? Where have you been?
October 28th, 2009 at 5:43 pmWow. Rush is not only undisputed leader of the Christian-right GOP thugs but Puppet Master too!
Dance little sniveling Rep. King! Dance!
My, my, my. How these GOP thugs respond to Rush’s “authority”
What a bunch of pathetic, snot-nosed cowards they are!
And what a show for the rest of us to watch. Just need Pepto to get through it.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:45 pmThe NFL is all about image and business. Racism in the form of Rush Limbaugh is bad for business. Limbaugh’s partners gave him the heave-ho, not Goodell.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:46 pmSTORMfront
Doesnt it embarass you to be such an incredibly STUPID pile of dogshit?
October 28th, 2009 at 5:46 pmSTORM says:
NFL Commissioner just got pawned. HAHAHAHAHAHa!! I love it.
Racist Republicans and their trolls just got pawned and whine like a bunch of b**chy little girls!! I love it! LOL! ;)
October 28th, 2009 at 5:47 pmStorm, why are you against the free market?
Heh.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:51 pmHi STORM:
October 28th, 2009 at 5:51 pmpwned…. So is the NFL left leaning or not?
The number of morons and the level of their stupidity is increasing at an exponential rate. I’m really tired of these whining little fascists. They need to remember that without the Gestapo they’re just comic relief.
And as for their Tea Bagger legions (only fat, white idiots could come up with such a hilariously inappropriate nickname), even Hitler knew that the Brown Shirts were a bunch of self-interested sadists and perverts looking to blind-side a smaller, weaker opponent, and that they would eventually be his undoing.
Full disclosure, I’m fat and white, but I’m NOT an idiot.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:53 pmStormy, are you trying out your hip net phrases skills?
pawn 2
verb [ trans. ]
deposit (an object) with a pawnbroker as security for money lent : I pawned the necklace to cover the loan.
Pssst, your stupid is showing, quick zip it up. The phrase is pwned, no…A…moron.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:53 pmWay to stay on topic, Rep. King. Use a hearing on NFL player head injuries to defend pompous Rush Limpballs and why he didn’t get to buy a football team? Jeesh.
Looks like you are the one demonstrating some type of head injury, or maybe attention deficit disorder.
BTW, nice comb over.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:53 pmI think Storm, and the rest of the true Republicans, should never watch football every again.
Go Packers!
October 28th, 2009 at 5:56 pmevery = ever
October 28th, 2009 at 5:56 pmBuckieBoy,
I am impressed, you pwned Storm using the Internet slang pwned itself. You are truly a cunning linguist.
October 28th, 2009 at 5:59 pmGeez the upper midwest gives us: Michele Bachmann, Chuck Grassley, John Thune, Steve King–did I miss Reps or Senate who seem to abandoned all reason. Iowa, Minn, SD get rid of these learned scholars.
October 28th, 2009 at 6:05 pmSteve King makes the run of the mill wingnut seem sane. The guy is crazy as a bedbug.
October 28th, 2009 at 6:10 pmI know that the bar is set kind of high for dickwad of the year but it seems as if Representative King is going for the gold. And he’s had several of these lately.
Step away from the Kool-Aide Mr. King, you’ve had too much.
October 28th, 2009 at 6:12 pmI suppose that Rep King doesn’t see anything wrong with Lushbo’s new habit of calling the President “boy”, “little boy”, and “man-child”?
October 28th, 2009 at 6:15 pmOT.
I heard the news today, oh boy. About the hole in Rush’s Clear Channel.
Although the news was rather glad, their President stepped down
Now will never know how much longer Rush’ll have a microphone…?
He’d love you to turn – him – onnnnn
October 28th, 2009 at 6:18 pmI don’t think you understand what “pwned” means, STORMy.
If you trashtalk someone to the point of them not being able to respond? That’s PWNED.
If you trashtalk and there’s no evidence that the other guy responded, that’s premature PWNING.
As a result, the play has been reviewed. No PWNAGE. It’s a loss of down for STORM. Think Progress has not been charged with a time out.
October 28th, 2009 at 6:21 pmEvery time the racist Rep. King opens his mouth he gets pawned. Repug is stupid, Storm is stupid, they both line up off-sides and get pawned.
October 28th, 2009 at 6:24 pmLimbaugh has nothing to do with anything. He is a-hugely paid (5 million $ more)ill-informed, dishonest (Vicks?) loser-with-no-research- idiot. Beck is an anti-American (hates government, promotes violence towards the democratically-elected gov’t-, hateful, sexist, homophobic, dishonest, GOP gov’t. Now we have a gov’t that respects people, etc. And yet, the Repubs hate anyone who respects their hatefulwebsites. Um… what gives??? ….. um, that’s the conservative way– bully, take over, strike down others, love yourself, hate others…
October 28th, 2009 at 6:36 pmJust so gross.
October 28th, 2009 at 6:40 pmSpeaking of insane Congresscritters, there are a couple interesting things in this brief video. One is the tag-team between King and Crazy Shelly (InsaneR-Mn.). The other is all the empty seats. I’m beginning to think that the other Critters simply leave when these two morons have the floor.

October 28th, 2009 at 6:43 pmSTORM, do you know any Democrat who owns an NFL team. There may be one. I don’t know. Just wondering. I thought maybe Rooney because he liked Obama, but turns out he’s a republican.
If you find an NFL owner who is also a Democrat, please let us know. I know the owner of the team I like is a Republican and his team hails from San Francisco, a very liberal area.

“…and how this Country was designed.”
Do you play Western too?
October 28th, 2009 at 7:13 pmKenneth is impressive in his ability to deny reality.
Perhaps Kenneth believes that Reality itself is a “fabrication of the Far Left”?
October 28th, 2009 at 7:15 pmKennethy, perhaps you can give us a brief lesson on “how this Country was designed”?
October 28th, 2009 at 7:16 pmHere’s a few of Lushbo’s greatest hits.
http://mediamatters.org/research/200910160044
BTW, it’s impossible to be over educated and anyone who would use such a term is clearly uneducated. In most of the world being uneducated is a bad thing. Not so much in Reichwing America where people are actually granted authority based on their ability to deny reality.
October 28th, 2009 at 7:19 pmKenneth is just a weak wristed poo flinger.
October 28th, 2009 at 7:19 pmI have a feeling that this particular stupid troll is convinced that the Founding Fathers wanted a Holy union between Church, commerce, and State. Of course, such an opinion is the opposite of true.
October 28th, 2009 at 7:20 pmKenneth
YOU are a liar and a brainwashed MORON. He ADMITTED to saying take that bone out of your nose you ignorant punkass troll. Just STFU if all you can do is drop by to tell lies that everyone here KNOWS are lies. We already KNOW how stupid you are so you dont have to try so hard.
October 28th, 2009 at 7:25 pmKenneth is a hive-minded repug that keeps up the debunked troll logic of “If I keep repeating lies long enough they’ll believe it”. It doesn’t work
October 28th, 2009 at 7:27 pmPoor Kenneth.
He can’t hear any voice but Rush’s because poor Kenneth has his head so far up Rush’s bum that he can see what Rush had for lunch. Makes sense actually. Blokes like Kenneth like their thoughts and ideas predigested by the likes of Rush. Spares them the pain of thinking.
There is a whole bright shinny world out side, Kenneth.
Find the courage to think for yourself, take a shower and then open your ears. You might like what you hear with the added advantage that the air is a lot better.
We’re all rootin’ for ya’!
October 28th, 2009 at 7:39 pmIt would be also very delicious if it wasn’t for Lieberman. Republicans have most holes in the foot you can imagine, but Democrats are not that far behind, if they don’t come down hard on Lieberman I will be pissed.
October 28th, 2009 at 7:39 pmSteve King (R-IA) IS a mental midget and it shows – daily..
October 28th, 2009 at 8:50 pmclearly the answer to assclown king should have been, “couldn’t tell you, why don’t you ask his business par4tners who dropped his ass from the deal”?
October 28th, 2009 at 8:52 pmThe Trolls who defecate here have nothing on Steve King. What a LOON.
October 28th, 2009 at 9:05 pmHi Kenneth,
BOO!
October 28th, 2009 at 9:06 pmKenneth says:
Rush need not apologize because he has never said anything of a racist nature. Quotes attributed to him were fabrications from the Far Left.
You are correct, but he does need to apologize for the things he “did” say that were racist… ;)
Kenneth says:
As I show my friends comments like this it proves that Progressives like roxsteady are overly-educated, elitest, Liberally programed vile kooks. One of many on this site that have no clue on conservative values and how this Country was designed.
Translation, extremist right wing kkkrackers don’t need no education or facts – the bible tells’em everything they need to know! To be white, racist, misogynistic and homophobic! LOL! ;)
We know “your” conservative values perfectly well, and your “elitist” conservatively programmed vile bigots represent those values every day.
October 28th, 2009 at 9:13 pmIt boggles the mind why anyone would defend limpo, or support him in any way.
October 28th, 2009 at 9:21 pmThe trolls are loyal. All is well.
October 28th, 2009 at 9:40 pmHow is it possible to be overeducated?
October 28th, 2009 at 9:55 pmdbadass
Rightwing morons ONLY want to believe the delusional fantasies they make up in their heads. They HATE people who are swayed by facts or reality. More educated people tend to BELIEVE those pesky facts and reality. Taking away from the pool of those who can be convinced that the delusional fantasies they make up in their heads are what is eral DESPITE all facts and reality. Therefore if you can be convinced that your delusional fantasies are no longer true by mere facts then you are overeducated. Gotta look at it from the marching moron perspective that Kenneth has so carefully cultivated. THEN it makes sense

Kenneth
Only if you were describing morons like yourself you ignorant punkass troll. Doesnt it embarass you to be so stupid?
October 28th, 2009 at 10:37 pmRep Steve King is evidence that we need to change our voting system in this country. The people who voted for him are among the first in the nation to weed out presidential candidates, all because of Iowa’s silly insistence on having the first primaries in the nation. Why is that? What have they done to earn that?
Are these people really the best people for that job? Really? You wonder why some of the candidates with the best ideas don’t get nominated? Because they have to win the approval of the same kind of people who sent Steve King to Congress.
Sorry, Iowa. If it were up to me, you would be fired.
October 28th, 2009 at 10:39 pmKenneth You lying, ignorant piece of garbage. Are you REALLY going to try to convince us that by OVER educated you REALLY meant poorly educated? On what planet is overly a synonym for poorly? Give it up. You have shown you are a moron. Live with it.
October 28th, 2009 at 10:40 pmKenneth is poorly-educated on the use of capitalization — and has no idea what he’s talking about.
October 28th, 2009 at 10:41 pmKenneth says:
Rush need not apologize because he has never said anything of a racist nature. Quotes attributed to him were fabrications from the Far Left.
Quotes from him were from actual transcripts from sound bytes from his own broadcasts, videos and transcripts from his own website. Do those sound like fabrications from the far left or are you calling his own website and actual sound bytes from his own broadcast far left?
Wow…. I didn’t know he’s far left.
Only a racist will defend a racist. only a racist will be in denial of their own racism You really are a racist.
October 28th, 2009 at 10:51 pmThree things not in the U.S. Constitution.
1. Capitalism.

3. Christianity.

There. Fixed it all up just for you. :)
Don’t forget to pay at the desk. I charge for parts and labor.
October 28th, 2009 at 10:56 pmOf course, after getting his daily “education” from Becky, our poor stupid troll probably Believes that Thomas Paine was a great conservative hero and Thomas Jefferson was an Evangelical Christian.
October 28th, 2009 at 11:03 pmPerhaps our troll needs a good history lesson.
October 28th, 2009 at 11:15 pmCongressman King uses one quote and tries to pick on the NFL commissioner, but he conveniently forgets Rush quotes that would put anyone out of the running for NFL owner, like:
October 28th, 2009 at 11:16 pm“The NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and Crips without any weapons.” — Rush
“The NAACP should have riot rehearsal. They should get a liquor store and practice robberies.” — Rush
“They’re 12 percent of the population. Who the hell cares?” — Rush
Obama as a “Halfrican American” and “The Magic Negro.” — Rush
“We need segregated buses. This is Obama’s America.” — Rush
“Obama’s entire economic program is reparations.” — Rush
Congressman King, take your head out of the sand!
First;
Thank you Amanda, Because of you I joined..Standing up to Bill and influencing the advertisers ..
Second;
Thank you “chibearden” for the web link.
Sent a e-mail to King asking not to bring this nation down to that level.
tom
October 28th, 2009 at 11:23 pmA wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned – this is the sum of good government.
Thomas Jefferson
Leave men FREE! Not give them Free stuff. Or others stuff.

You progressives are SO smart and educated and you can’t even recognize irreverent humor. Or, are you that touchy?
October 28th, 2009 at 11:31 pmI’ve always liked this quote from Thomas Jefferson.
The care of human life and happiness, and not their destruction, is the first and only legitimate object of good government.

You regressives are so ignorant and uneducated and you can’t even recognize blatant hateful vomit. Or are you that so clueless?
October 28th, 2009 at 11:40 pmKenneth
You IGNORANT, soulless punks dont know what humor IS. You THINK it is an excuse to say ANY offensive thing you cant defend any other way. You disgust decent human beings and will NEVER be one. You are a selfish, soulless, Ebenezer Scrooge worshipping pile of dogshit. You dont care about anyone but yourself. Rush is a liar. Just like YOU. Rush is a punk. JUST LIKE YOU. You think you can just say offensive idiotic nonsense like this and then snivel like the PUNKS you are when you are called on it.

October 28th, 2009 at 11:41 pmAchtung Republicans! All must defend the leader of the master race!
October 28th, 2009 at 11:42 pmAll national institutions of churches, whether Jewish, Christian or Turkish, appear to me no other than human inventions, set up to terrify and enslave mankind, and monopolize power and profit.

Achtung-Republikaner! Alle müssen den Führer der Master-Rasse verteidigen!
Der ganze Hagel unser großer weißer Führer Rush Limbaugh!!
October 28th, 2009 at 11:53 pmThen there’s this one.
I consider the foundation of the Constitution as laid on this ground: That “all powers not delegated to the United States, by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States or to the people.”

We all hail our great white leader Rush Limbaugh!!

October 29th, 2009 at 12:02 amCan anyone at TP explain why a U.S.House Representative would take time out to defend Rush Limbaugh?
Is he begging for attention before suicide?
Is he related to Rush and is protecting family?
What?
October 29th, 2009 at 12:17 amHe’s a butthole surfer for his great white leader. What else is new??
October 29th, 2009 at 12:20 amOnce again a MORONIC republican JUST DOESN’T GET IT! First we had one MORONIC republican try and compare the RACIST comments Rush Limbaugh has made to the comments Keith Olbermann makes about the republican party…
Now this looney, bat sh*t crazy freeper, Steve King is comparing the RACIST comments Rush Limbaugh has made to some lyrics about CIA agents….Wow, just wow! These ignorant, racist bastards from the far right just don’t get it do they?
Perhaps Stevie will be rewarded by Rush with a bottle of Viagra and a young Dominican male prostitute for sticking up for the bloated and pompous leader of the gNOp?
October 29th, 2009 at 1:07 amKing is just another congressman that has let his position go to his head,
October 29th, 2009 at 1:10 amand feels his “higher standard of morality” needs to be imposed
on all us lowly peons beneath him.
Headcase.

“““““““““““““““““““““““““““““““
Hmmm…Glenda Beck repeated some quotes by Thomas Paine on his Fox comedy show for the demented recently, I wonder why he didn’t repeat that quote????
Re: Intrepid @ 109:
Should read: _Alles Heil_ unser etc. Der Ganzen more appropriately translates as “the whole thing”, and “Hagel” is round white balls of ice in various sizes falling from the sky.
October 29th, 2009 at 1:23 amUncle Fester Lurks says:
“…I wonder why he didn’t repeat that quote????”
My guess is that Lushbo didn’t read that part to him at sleepy-time.
October 29th, 2009 at 1:30 amWho wants a self declared racist as a partner for god’s sake man. They just get stupider by the day.
October 29th, 2009 at 2:02 amI mean Steve King is being so stupid.
October 29th, 2009 at 2:04 am“In fact I don’t think that anything Rush Limbaugh said was offensive,” added King.
October 29th, 2009 at 2:09 amReason enough right there to never, ever listen to anything King has to say.

October 29th, 2009 at 8:04 amAnd these are the people who get so pissed about government spending. How much did that 5 minutes of irrelevancy to the hearing at hand just cost us?
October 29th, 2009 at 8:49 amKing is an idiot. None of his business why Rush did or did not get a private business deal. King should apologise for bringing it up. Nice waste of the peoples time and money for his personal grandstanding.
October 29th, 2009 at 9:30 amJeez, why didn’t any of the other politicians tell King to just STFU?????????
I guess King never heard Cystboy call Mr. Obama a ‘halfrican’?
Nothing racist there, eh, stooooopid . . .

You can GO HERE to contact King . .

Thanks soapbox!! I e-mailed a LONG LIST of racist comments by Pillboy to King and suggested that HE should be the one apologizing to the American people for DELIBERATELY LYING in OUR Chamber before the Committee . .
I’m sure Mr. King’s crackerjack staff knew how to use the ‘googles’ to research Limpball’s racism before speaking to the Committee and deliberately LYING . .

Obama as a “Halfrican American” and “The Magic Negro.” — Rush
“We need segregated buses. This is Obama’s America.” — Rush
“Obama’s entire economic program is reparations.” — Rush
You progressives are SO smart and educated and you can’t even recognize irreverent humor. Or, are you that touchy?
First you say those are fabricated by the left, and now you say that’s satire? Oh, I’m sorry…my apologies, I forgot how the right’s humor consists solely of demeaning others, racism, homophobia, sexism, etc.
October 29th, 2009 at 1:30 pmin fact those quotes were so funny, I forgot to laugh…
October 29th, 2009 at 1:31 pm1. Have you ever noticed how all composite pictures of wanted criminals resemble Jesse Jackson?
2. Right. So you go into Darfur and you go into South Africa, you get rid of the white government there. You put sanctions on them. You stand behind Nelson Mandela — who was bankrolled by communists for a time, had the support of certain communist leaders. You go to Ethiopia. You do the same thing.
3. Look, let me put it to you this way: the NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons. There, I said it.
4. The NAACP should have riot rehearsal. They should get a liquor store and practice robberies.
5. They’re 12 percent of the population. Who the hell cares?
6. [To an African American female caller]: Take that bone out of your nose and call me back.
7. I think the media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well. They’re interested in black coaches and black quarterbacks doing well. I think there’s a little hope invested in McNabb and he got a lot of credit for the performance of his team that he really didn’t deserve.
8. Limbaugh’s many attacks on Obama.
Limbaugh has called Obama a ‘halfrican American’ has said that Obama was not Black but Arab because Kenya is an Arab region, even though Arabs are less than one percent of Kenya. Since mainstream America has become more accepting of African-Americans, Limbaugh has decided to play against its new racial fears, Arabs and Muslims. Despite the fact Obama graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law school, Limbaugh has called him an ‘affirmative action candidate.’ Limbaugh even has repeatedly played a song on his radio show ‘Barack the Magic Negro’ using an antiquated Jim Crow era term for Black a man who many Americans are supporting for president. Way to go Rush.
So Rush Limbaugh has managed to make racist attacks on four of the most admired and respected people of African descent in the past one hundred years, in Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, Colin Powell and Barack Obama. He has claimed that Joe the Plumber, who isn’t even a plumber is more important in this election than Colin Powell, a decorated military veteran who has served honorably in three administrations. How can the Republican party stand by this man and let their candidates appear on his show? Rush Limbaugh’s comments are so racist, they’re funny, in a Borat, Archie Bunker kind of way. What is not funny is the millions of dittoheads who listen to him, who take in and re-spout all the racist rhetoric that he spits. Limbaugh’s statements are echoed in the racist, angry Palin/McCain supporters who shout ‘kill him,’ ‘terrorist,’ ‘communist,’ ‘traitor,’ ’socialist’ and ‘off with his head.’
9. We need segregated buses… This is Obama’s America.
Source
Okay Limbaugh let’s take back all of the Civil Rights movement and bring segregation back. But you’re not a racist.
