Angry supporters boo Palin for leaving in the middle of her book signing: ‘Quittin’ on the job!’
Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin was in Indiana yesterday for a book-signing at a Borders store. One thousand lucky fans with wristbands to meet Palin stood in the rain all day waiting for her to arrive. However, Palin quit the event before she had the chance to sign all the books, leaving 100 supporters out in the cold:
“I’m very disappointed. I think it was very rude. She could have at least apologized, and she didn’t even do that,” said Teresa Hedrick. [...]
“We bought two books from Borders to have our receipt and our wristband to get it signed tonight,” said one woman. “My books are going back to Borders tomorrow.”
“We gave up our entire workday, stayed in the cold. My kids were crying,” said one man. “They went home with my wife. She was out here in the freezing cold all day. I feel like I don’t want to support Sarah.“
People who didn’t get to meet Palin “went home only with a piece of paper with Palin’s signature.” Video from the event shows angry wristband-holders loudly booing Palin and yelling, “Sign our books!” and “Quittin’ on the job!” Watch it:

Asked us to write down what we wanted, put our address on it, and leave the book with him. He would sign it and return it as soon as possible.
I had my book back within 10 days. Bart Starr is a class act.

Their disappointment is vocalized by there chanting of “sign our books” and “boos” and “quitting on the job” that Palin never heard or cared to take notice of. Just like in her book where “they didn’t allow Palin to be Palin” on the campaign trail, her new handlers are now “not allowing Palin to sign the books of her biggest fans.” Oh the irony. She can always just blame it on her new handlers.
But perhaps the biggest irony is the fact that this mob that came out to see her, to bask in the presence of their idolatry of her, turned so quickly against her. This is the crowd that she was so completely able to stir up violently against Obama on the campaign trail. The red meat that they were thrown last year has turned into that sense of entitlement that this crowd put her where she is today. As the huge tour bus thundered out of town, Sarah Palin might, at last, be coming to the end of the road reaping what she has sown all the way. We could hope & pretend that since people finally got a glimpse of her “true self” that they would stop liking her but we all know for that to happen it takes people that have COMMON SENSE & IQ’s ABOVE 65 and since we are talking about people that are actual “fans” of Palin & actually LIKE her we know that they lack both of the requirements so this incident unfortunately will change NOTHING!!!

She would probably back out on campaign promises, right after she installed all of her cronies into public offices; hell, she’d probably CREATE offices and departments, just so she could give jobs to her friends. If too many people disagreed with her she’d probably try to shut them up with some scam and call it a “Fairness Doctrine”. Worst of all, Palin would be probably be unable to make a decision about sending troops to Afghanistan, all the while soldiers would be dying. How crazy would that be?
