Bachmann and Palin to unite for Tea Party convention.

palinbachmann1Sarah Palin will star as the keynote speaker at next February’s First National Tea Party Convention, which will take place in Nashville, TN. Also attending: Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN). The right-wing Minnesota congresswoman has previously asserted that Democrats are trying to “sabotage” both her and Palin “to make sure that we don’t have a prominent national voice.” The Washington Independent reports that tickets to see the Bachmann/Palin show “are available for the bargain price of $549.”

Three cheers for the Palin/Bachmann for President ticket. For a left wing liberal I nominate Palin/Bachmann for the Tea Party ticket in 2012. Let me be the first to say that this is the best damn ticket for all you tea bagging nut balls out there. Now you all be good little tea baggers and start collecting names to make this happen, we’re counting on you.

  7. Wayne A. Schneider says:

Why is that a “bargain”, when you could buy Palin’s book for $4.97 from Newsmax and hear pretty much the same thing?

No “sabotage” is necessary because when you and Palin open your mouths, sane individuals expect lies and disjointed nonsense to follow.

Your republican political womanliness is showing because you blame everyone else except the “vessel of female godliness” from which the stupid keeps erupting.

Get over yourselves. Not everyone is a fool.

The explosive potential of such a large mass of anti-matter colliding with reality is just too much to risk your curiousity on. Stay away. It will be reported on TV. This is about money and only money from those Americans who are dumb enough to pay. Now the 500 goes to the RNC Fund while Michelle is using the State voters for her personal campaign use. I’m sure Rev. Huck will have his book there for the Teabaggers to buy. Seems like some Americans weren’t effected by the Recession and Tenn. really is doing very well.

  71. tokin librul says:

It is alright to ignore Sarah Palin.

Consider her audience. It ain’t “us.”

Her appeal is to folks who fear knowledge, because it is threatening. Knowledge is not ‘certainty,’ except as to the ‘certainty’ of “ambiguity.”

Her “supporters” are existential cowards. We may see them as the paradigm case of inauthenticity and bad faith.

E.g.: Knowing about catastrophic climate change is a TERRIBLE burden. Really internalizing that knowledge, speaking it, repeating it, imposes a burden upon us.

If you deny it, you can reject the burden–though of course not the consequences. But rejection also makes it possible to blame those who did not reject the knowledge for the “bad” outcomes…

    That’s why it’s cowardice…not mere ignorance.

With tickets going for $549 a pop, Bachmann had better damn well hope hope that Bailin’ And Failin’ Palin doesn’t back out on her at the last minute like she already has on at least three other people this year — especially since in each case, Palin tried to blame her own failure to appear on the people who organized the event, claiming that she never knew she was expected to appear since nobody ever told her about it (even though this innocent victim act of hers is starting to become a little threadbare). Verbal agreements have no teeth, and Bachmann doesn’t strike me as the sort of person who would have the presence of mind to force Palin’s hand by making certain Palin’s appearance is guaranteed in writing.

I love the way wingnuts throw out that 48% as if they are gaining. Please find a link to support your belief. The rating may be dropping a little due to frustration on not getting the change promised soon enough but there is no evidence those disgruntled voters support the party of no and obstruction which remains more unpopular than Democrats. Nope, but all conservatives drool down their necks if they sit too long and drag their knuckles on the ground when they walk.

  212. Rich H says:

    No, just right wingers.

  213. KayInMaine says:

HeathenSucks, show us some links about Hasan plotting with al-Qaida please! We’ll wait as you scan Sarah Palin’s Twitter page to see if she’s made a statement about it for you to use here as your proof. *rolling eyes*

  214. angels81 says:

    HSUKS says:

What a stupid statement. You must have the brains of a bag of rocks to have even asked such a stupid question.

  215. Rich H says:

Don’t give HSUCKS too much credit. Your denigrating bags of rocks.

  216. KayInMaine says:

Anyone else waiting for HeathenSucks to break out with, “I know you are but what am I! *sticking out tongue* I know you are but what am I?!!!!!”?

  217. Rich H says:

    Per HSUCKS request,

please commence with ad-hominem and personal attacks.

    o.k.

  218. Rab says:

Repugs are a self-loathing group……Larry Craig is a perfect example. The guy is homosexual and voted against anything homosexual. He gets caught in a airport bathroom and then announces to the world, “I am not gay”. Of course he is and the guy could have been an asset to gay rights by standing up and doing what is right.

Countless examples of cowardly repugs and Palin/Bachmann are the female versions of cowardice.

  219. KayInMaine says:

*scanning the thread* Nope! No link yet from HeathenSucks proving Hasan was part of al-Qaida!

  220. Rich H says:

Man HSUCKS you sure are getting voted down fast. You must have a valid point of view worth sharing – or not.

How can I possibly keep up with you?

  221. angels81 says:

HSUKS, This is a site with adults on it. When you post stupid questions that a nine year old wouldn’t even ask, what do you expect? Don’t waste peoples time with kid stuff.

  222. Rich H says:

HSUCKS has given up discourse and has gone to the vote down button.

  223. KayInMaine says:

Ah yes, the Vote Down Button….this is to make up for what is lacking in his britches, right Heathen?

  224. KayInMaine says:

    HSUKS says:

U.S. intelligence agencies were aware months ago that Army Major Nidal Hasan was attempting to make contact with people associated with al Qaeda

What? No “special comment” on meltdown? Shocker!
    November 27th, 2009 at 8:23 pm

Alright fine. Hasan was a right winger! Feel better now? By the way, how does one get ahold of al-Qaida? You must know being part of the American Taliban and all.

  225. Rich H says:

HSUCKS that has been on Countdown your moron. And by the way, all of the red flags poped up while Bush was in charge with Darth Cheney. What, just one more thing that got by them?

    Oh, and still no links.

  226. Rich H says:

HSUCKS. what do you think of the two retards who are charging $549.00 to listen to them speak?

Please, no offens meant to the handicapped.

  227. angels81 says:

HSUKS, Like all good little trolls, when he can’t or won’t discuss the topic of this thread, he will go off and start ranting about something else. This is what kids do, when they are in over their heads and got nothing when it comes to the subject at hand.

  228. stncldcrzy68 says:

    Hey Crazy Shelly,

Why haven’t you slit your wrists yet?

Dammit, you said you were gonna…you DISAPPOINT me!!

  229. Rab says:

Is it true HSUCKS that every time al-Qaeda is mentioned you crap your pants?

  230. Rich H says:

We were saying how nice it would be if you actually had an informed point of view and wanted to speak nice with the other adults.

  231. lux says:

This bizarre claim by the Right that ’strong women scare lefties’ is completely wrong and without any basis.

It was Glenn Beck after all that says Palin would just be ‘Yappin like they were in the kitchen’

Rightwing idiots are just as afraid of female rights as they are of minority rights. It’s conservatives who are known misogynists.

The left is known to celebrate strong women.. we celebrate the rights of all. We attack these women for being nutcases.. and as far as fear – yes, crazy is frightening.

  232. KayInMaine says:

And wasn’t the Iman who had links to al-Qaida one of many people who attended the mosque in Virginia that Hasan also attended? Why yes he was!

    http://www1.voanews.com/english/news/a-13-2009-11-16-voa29-70423902.html

And isn’t it also interesting that Joe Lieberman (along with Susan Collins) had no reason to investigate the ties of the 9/11 hijackers to Americans here after the largest attack on our nation, but these two have jumped on doing Glenn-Beck-Connect-The-Dots games to make it appear that Hasan was the Osama of America?

Seriously, Hasan’s whole life came to a standstill the week after he got his diagnosis of AIDS. He was going to die at some point (either from AIDS or he could have been killed overseas in George Bush’s wars), so he chose his ‘way out’….and survived!

But hey! Lieberman will make sure to stroke you right wing fringers into more hate against Muslims!

  233. angels81 says:

So HSUCKS lets see if you can stay on topic. What do you think of a Palin/Bachmann ticket in 2012? Aren’t they the two strongest women the right wing has?

  234. What the GOP REALLY means ... says:

You know my party- when we’re told to cut out the act, we make sure its only the beginning.

  235. KayInMaine says:

I would love to know what the right wing thinks about REAL strong women? Oh wait! They made fun of Hillary’s calves for the last 17 years. Nevermind.

  236. KayInMaine says:

Sarah Palin doesn’t like bureaucrats getting between a patient and a doctor, but she’s absolutely fine with private insurance companies (who are the bureaucrats who get between the patient and the doctor)!

Sarah is against raising taxes on anything, but I bet she laughed along with the right wing fringe when they heard Berkeley students were protesting the cost of tuition going up! See? An increase that is not called a tax is fine with the Sarah Palin’s of the republic party.

  237. What the GOP REALLY means ... says:

Why is it that when my party brings any given stupid idea to fruition, the first thing we do is claim the wefties are vewy scared?

  238. P.D. says:

Kay@263, Yeah. The Repug commentaters were ALWAYS the ones who bashed Hillary or anyone else who didn’t share their views. Remember Coulter writting about Hillary’s chubby thighs? Or Ingraham insulting Megan McCains weight?

  239. Rich H says:

That increase is incredible – I don’t know what is finally settled to being, but it was publicized as an increase of 35%.

Just another way of denying education to the masses.

  240. KayInMaine says:

If you add 5 CENTS to the cost of a can of soda for the state to use to go to health care, THAT IS BAD. But adding thousands of dollars to tuition cost is A-OK to the right wingers because they think it’s a good punishment and is fair!

  241. What the GOP REALLY means ... says:

High tuition keeps the “students” aka extended vacationers aka uninterested bystanders aka keg hoarders on grounds and the smart, humble, gifted, intelligent students off campus. Just ask Laura Ingraham how she came to be.

    Isn’t freedom great?

  242. KayInMaine says:

    P.D. says:

Kay@263, Yeah. The Repug commentaters were ALWAYS the ones who bashed Hillary or anyone else who didn’t share their views. Remember Coulter writting about Hillary’s chubby thighs? Or Ingraham insulting Megan McCains weight?
    November 27th, 2009 at 8:40 pm

Oh I remember! And when we pointed at Carrie Prejean’s fake boobs, these same people acted as if we had committed a crime. Could the right wing be any lamer? I don’t think so.

  243. Rab says:

Prejean turned out to be a fraud, typical repug. She goes the religious rout and then it turns out she likes working out by herself and likes video taping it.

  244. lule says:

KayinMaine, you’ve done a great job shooting down the troll. His lack of logic and proof to back up his very lame claims proves how unschooled he truly is.

You mentioned that Hasan had AIDS but I haven’t seen anything about that until you said it in this thread.

Can you tell me where you found that info? I’ve been searching but have not found any articles that mention this.

    Thanks

  245. P.D. says:

Kay@270, LOL! It’s absurd isn’t it? Here, when people say anything about Prejean, we are bashing her because of her views on Homosexuality. That’s bullsh*t. It’s the hypocrisy. The woman is a fake bimbo who acts like a ‘Christian’. So I guess it’s alright with the Righties that she made a sex tape? Unreal.

  246. Jess Wonderin says:

Gotta kick out the trollfest . . . not one managed to get a head out without a 2×4 between the eyes . . .

I was just thinking how many late truck payments, child support checks and skipped med scrips there will be due to funds “diverted” to cover admission to the Clown Circus . . . some may even put off Freeper donations and the Dittohead Christmas Tee-shirts . . . .

  247. KayInMaine says:

The only reason why Redstaters were glad the two White House party crashers didn’t kill Obama & Biden is because *gasp* that strong woman Nancy Pelosi would be president!

Don’t believe me? Read this post:

    http://www.redstate.com/vladimir/2009/11/27/further-on-the-matter-of-the-party-crashers-an-open-letter-to-the-secret-service/#comments

Conservatives are afraid of strong women because they see strong women as their mothers. See?………..

    http://whitenoiseinsanity.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/20081125_hillarybushbaby.jpg

  248. P.D. says:

Kay@275, Excellant point. Repug men hate the fact Pelosi has power. The same goes for Hillary. And they are SMART women. Unlike Palin, Prejean AND Bachman. My own Father hates Pelosi. Why? Because she is a woman in power. He couldn’t name ANY other Speakers, but he remembers NOW a woman has the top job. It’s sad and disappointing, really.

  249. Rich H says:

HSUCKS go on a crack run? He was the only troll here. I guess budget cuts are getting them too.

  250. What the GOP REALLY means ... says:

Those smart women are on our radar. We like our women spankable and in the kitchen more than Mrs. Fields. Is Mrs. Fields spankable? I’ll find out …

  251. KayInMaine says:

P.D., you mean to tell me your father couldn’t remember Denny Hastert the Fat Bastard? LOL Too funny!

  252. KayInMaine says:

    *swatting hsucks with flyswatter*

  253. P.D. says:

Kay@279, He didn’t even know who Tom(The Hammer)Delay was! LOL! And can you beleive it? He actually calls ME and asks who these people are. I guess years of arguing with him finally paid off. Although he will never change. It’s a generational thing I think. He is now in his 70s. I guess I can only hope, but I won’t hold my breath.

  254. P.D. says:

Oh crap. HSUKS is here to spead his gloom amnd doom, with nothing to back up his claims….

  255. KayInMaine says:

P.D. as far as the right wing is concerned the only presidents to be in office to take all the blame for America’s failings are: Carter, Clinton, and Obama. See? They remember absolutely NOTHING about the Nixon, Reagan, George H.W. Bush, and George W.Arcriminal Bush years!

  256. Rab says:

    HSUCKS gets slapped hard again.

  257. P.D. says:

Kay. I know. Selective memory is a Repug trait. Now they had no problem running up the deficit with Bush’s war. NOW they are up in arms about it. I need a beer.

  258. KayInMaine says:

Speaking of terrorist sympathizers, the pro-lifers are raising money for a murderer:

    http://rawstory.com/2009/10/ebay-auction-abortiondoc-killer/

Do you conservatives remember this or did you conveniently forget again? Just curious…

  259. P.D. says:

Rab@286, LOL! HSUKS is pretty much a stupid troll. I like trolls that have SOME sense of reality.

  260. KayInMaine says:

P.D., the right wingers also had no problem with George Bush cooking the books on the Iraq/Afghan wars and the tax cuts for the uber wealthy. They ignore the fact that it was Reagan who created the deficit in the first place and that it was Dick Cheney who said recently, “Reagan proved deficits don’t matter”. See? All conveniently forgotten to make themselves feel better in their warped little realities that is rejected by all rational thinking people.

  261. Rab says:

P.D., I still wait for the day when enough of them realize how ripped off they are. Starting with this fraud Palin. She does this crap book and touring for money…no other reason except money and she’s an idiot. Repugs biggest fear is the truth.

  262. KayInMaine says:

Uh oh. Looks like the George Bush Terror, Fear, & Loathing years are mostly to blame for Hasan:

    http://firedoglake.com/2009/11/27/that-darned-political-correctness/

Everyone should have a gun! Right?

  263. P.D. says:

Kay@290, Are you sure we weren’t seperated at birth? I have arguments like this with my parents CONSTANTLY. Heaven forbid you knock ‘The Gipper’. And my stepfather? He STILL has a photo of Bush and Laura hanging in his office! Common sense and reality isn’t part of my parents world.

  264. What the GOP REALLY means ... says:

    having aids?

My party can’t get enough kool-aids.

  265. KayInMaine says:

    OSTL says:

    Rab says:

    sock alert

KIM, where is your proof that hasan has aids?
    November 27th, 2009 at 9:23 pm

I posted a bazillion links above. A MILITARY PERSON CLOSE TO HASAN SAID HE HAD BEEN TESTED FOR AIDS AND HE WAS TAKING A PRESCRIPTION DRUG CONNECTED TO IT.

  266. SouthernBeale says:

$549? Suckaz!!! She’s booked for Feb. 28 2010 at the exact same venue as keynote speaker for the National Religious Broadcasters convention. Those tickets are just $150. And get this kids: she’s appearing with Pat Boone! What a team!

Of course, the NRB gig was booked over a year ago. Who wants to put money on whether or not she shows?

  267. P.D. says:

Rab@292, That’s why the Repugs will diminish. I guess our problem is that we know what is happening constantly. Because we have an open mind. But the last few months with the ‘Tea-Baggers’ and ‘Birthers’ Independants are turning from the Repug Party, Add the ‘Purity Test’ and even more will flee. The fact the Repugs won GOVERNORSHIPS is nothing compared to the GOP losing the seats in CA and NY. And the GOP knows it.

  268. What the GOP REALLY means ... says:

Basically, HSUKS and I take turns jamming Rush Limbaugh’s balls into our mouths.

OSTL looks on in excitement for the opportune moment he can replace one of us.

  269. KayInMaine says:

    OSTL says:

    A MILITARY PERSON

    Oh………
    November 27th, 2009 at 9:27 pm

Oh, I see. You only believe things when it comes from “an anonymous person inside the Obama White House”, right?

You could prove to us that he didn’t have AIDS by listing out all of his medications he was taking, then showing us there was no AIDS testing done at Fort Hood in the last 10 years, and you could show us proof that Hasan was plotting on behalf of al-Qaida to take over America to steal our riches and our women (which is what you wingers think all illegal immigrants are doing! LOL!).

  270. P.D. says:

    OSTL, Umm.. What’s your point?

  271. Rab says:

P.D. @299, It could happen, If Palin or some other sociopath decides to start a conservative party (separate of the repugs) it could mean the end of the repug party.

That purity test could be the beginning of the end. I think of that purity test just like the crap they pulled to root out “the communists” ala Joe McCarthy.

  272. What the GOP REALLY means ... says:

It would be funny if if Bachmann and Palin try to crash a WH gathering, and when the Secret Service levels them, the blahgospheric red state goes batshit and gets turned in themselves for threats.

  273. KayInMaine says:

Remember when Fox News and the Army decided to scare everyone about the “al-Qaida HIV suicide bombers in Iraq”?….

    http://www.army.mil/professionalwriting/volumes/volume3/april_2005/4_05_3.html

    • Blood-borne pathogens can be delivered. Suicide bombers infected with hepatitis and HIV can create a “hazmat” incident by spreading disease to targeted personnel. Bone fragments and blood-covered bolts and nails may directly transmit pathogens from the bomber to nearby victims. While this is less commonly used and of questionable utility, some Palestinian terrorist groups have used infected bombers.

  274. Bobwurst says:

OSTL, why do you hate the troops? SEriously. You are mocking an member of our armed forces you dirty right-wing hippo!

  275. vernon farquar says:

    will this brown shirts only?

  276. humbug72 says:

Re: Hasan and possible HIV…….from what I’ve read (and I could be behind) he had taken the test but hadn’t gotten the results.

In any case, HIV is not AIDS. With proper medication, HIV infected people (maybe not all of them) can live quite comfortably. A diagnonis of HIV is not a death sentence.

  277. humbug72 says:

#309 – woops – ‘diagnosis’ not ‘diagnonis’ hmm. that’s sort of an interesting word :)

  278. Bobwurst says:

    P.D. says:

    OSTL, Umm.. What’s your point?

I think it’s point is divert our attention from Batshit Shelly and the Whore from Wasilla…

    KayInMaine @ 290,
I have to ask myself the question, why after the “Bush Legacy” are the Republicans still willing to offer up the dumbest candidates for the office of the President.

The second aspect of the Republicans is their ownership of the “Bush Legacy”. Their solution to this problem is to institute the purity test for all Republicans, and to claim that GW was really a liberal.

Maybe it’s time the liberals insist the conservatives take ownership of their legacies.

I like the term “Bush Legacy”. Better yet, the “Conservative Legacy of G W Bush”.

  286. P.D. says:

Good night my TP brethern. See you on the morn..

  287. flight says:

    SlappyBastinado @ 317,
I think you are on to something my man. Palin/Bachmann will make a good third party. They could spike the Koolaid with viagera. The old fat white guys would love it, sure to get their vote!

  288. SlappyBastinado says:

Yes….I’m sure there would be a large contingent of Democrats attending incognito with George Bush masks and lots of body paint.

  289. OutstandingInMyField says:

$549.00 freakin’ dollars? That had better include two nights at a one star hotel with complementary in room movies, dinner for two at Applebees, a bottle of cold duck, and two complimentary flag pins or I just don’t see the teabaggers going for it. After all, they’ve been taxed enough already.

  290. had enough says:

Hundreds, if not thousands, of lobbyists are likely to be ejected from federal advisory panels as part of a little-noticed initiative by the Obama administration to curb K Street’s influence in Washington….

The new policy…may turn out to be the most far-reaching lobbying rule change so far from President Obama, who also has sought to restrict the ability of lobbyists to get jobs in his administration and to negotiate over stimulus contracts.

    November 27th, 2009 at 5:42 pm

That is great news! Think we can begin taking our country back?

  291. flight says:

    SlappyBastinado @ 321,
What a great idea. G W masks and decked out in red/white/blue body paint could be the high point of this tea gagger convention. I think GW should be on stage with Palin/Bachmann. The contrast of dumb, dumber and dumbest would be the highlight of the evening. The Republican Party offering to America of the best and brightest in service to their country.

Slappy my man, you are on to something. I think the RNC could use a man of your talents in their organization.

  292. Virtual Pebble says:

Bobwurst, your point about OSTLeper trying a diversion is correct, but there is something we need to keep straight here.

Remember that Sarah Cariboob’s stage name is Bible Spice, and she’s not the Whore from Wasilla. She’s the Whore of Babylon. More precisely, the Whore of North Babylon Shores Trailer Park, Wasilla, AK.

What? You thought maybe she was the Real Deal, THE Whore of Babylon from the Book of Revelations, etc? Nah, that title’s up for grabs; I’m sure Crazy Shelley thinks it should be hers, and Bible Spice thinks she’s in the running, but they’ve got younger dumb-and-crazy, like Carrie Prejean to contend with.

  293. Game of Life says:

Today I was listening to one of those repugs’ radio station , the female s (host and co-host) were having a bit of fun with the callers. They called in to voice the most annoying over used phrases or word (clichés) people overused.

Such as, “you know, whatever, listen to me, “ and so on.

Wow, fun from repugs. I knew it wasn’t going to be light or the fun would last long because it was a stupid repug station. Within 4 good clinches, here comes stupid.

“Sure enough” some dirty old geezer called and said “Community Leader.” The phase “Community Lead” is overused. Can you believe he would politicized a phase that helps communities?

The bare-bones of unity. The essence of sacrifice. Our moral standings.

How can they laugh , make fun of phrase “Community Leader?”

teabaggers are the opposite of people.

  294. had enough says:

I heard somewhere teabaggers are shut ins watching Fox news and the corporate buses taking them to their parties have given them a life they do not know what to do with…. except monger hate. 305. Rich H says:

Don’t get yourself too excited there Tracy. Dumbass Palin is becoming more famous for her ability to quit and “no show” than she is for any “position” she might take.

Notice the above thread, Palin just quit a 5k race. Who want’s to bet she even shows up? When the numbers come out and it turns out only 245 people ponied up for the freak show, do you think she’d even bother.

Palin is concerned with MONEY just like all good republicans and she’s finally figured out how to cash in on P.T. Barnums most famous saying.

  306. KayInMaine says:

Mass love for Sarah Palin? She only has 30,000 Twitter fans at the moment: http://whitenoiseinsanity.com/2009/11/28/sarah-palins-twitter-page-is-as-confusing-as-she-is/

Only 30,000 out of 300,000,000 Americans?

  307. Cats says:

Let’s not insult the Stooges, linzloo08. Compared to Tres Bimbos Grande, the Three Stooges are a real class act.

I think I’ve figured out why the rate is $549! Their constituencyv is the “HeeHaw” crowd, and this is a reference to BR-549!

I know it’s O/T, but this is funny.. Has anyone seen the youtube SNL “1/2 Hour News Hour” with Limbaugh as president and Coulter as vice president? If you haven’t, you’ll be rotfl laughing when you do see this. Sort of reminds me of Palin and Bachmann, especially since Palin is basically Rush in drag!

  315. linzloo08 says:

*Sorry, I meant to just say rotfl, not rotfl laughing*
It was definately before my cup of coffee this morning…
