Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) threatened to cut thousands of park ranger and natural resource management jobs across the country -- including in her home state of Alaska -- escalating an ongoing fight with the Obama Administration over its plans to protect the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
In many cases he referred to scientific papers or congressional testimony as "deliverables" in correspondence with his funders, which include ExxonMobil, Southern Company, the American Petroleum Institute, DonorsTrust, and the Charles G. Koch Foundation.
The country’s first planned industrial town, Pullman Historic District, was determined to be of “national significance” by the National Park Service in 2013 and was identified as a “national treasure” last year by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
