One Response to Sen. Chambliss (R-GA): This bill will attack citizens at the pump.
Agrees with Senator from Alabama’s remarks. Need he say more?
Claims a University of Georgia study says the average temperature in America dropped 1° in the last century [don’t know what the heck he is referring to].
High prices for gasoline are my constituents number one issue.
Some people in this body want to enact legislation that would increase the price of gas.
This bill will attack citizens at the pump and increase job losses.
It will force companies to raise prices and opening them to competition from other countries, or it will move companies to other countries where environmental regulations are lacking. [Note to Chambliss — what do you think is been going on already?]
Bill could be more fair and equitable. Must ensure it will not stymie economic growth.
We cannot burden our children and grandchildren with increased energy costs.
A vote for cloture on this bill is a vote to increase gasoline prices.
