I know about the 8 times…do you know which were the other votes? Could you detail them?
We get coverage of the NDC in the UK and I was watching some of the speeches last night. The tone of some of them is quite worrying. Mark Warner gave a particularly gung-ho speech about “out hustling and out-competing” the rest of the world and “rebuilding America’s armed forces”.
Isn’t about time the US tried to develop a more mature relationship with the rest of the world? There are other options besides invading and screwing over your global partners. We have not forgotten that the US stands alone in failing to sign Kyoto, however ineffective it might have been.
