No, I won’t be talking to Dave. Alas.
A segment called “Andy Kindler Talks to Climate Change experts” is scheduled to air tonight.
Now, I’m told “there is always a small chance that the piece could get edited out between tape and air, but for now it’s in.”
Plus, none of the people involved have seen the final cut so they don’t know if I’m in or out. I hope to know before air time.
If I’m in, it is probably some rather silly stuff, which I’ll comment on after I see what they do.
Be sure to watch! Even if I’m not in, the segment should be fun and funny.

Letterman had a superb rant recently when reviewing Friedman’s “Hot, Flat and Crowded” He really upstaged his guest and let loose one of the finest, serious and funny statements on global warming. About 7 mins. Check it out:

From this you can see that Letterman really gets it… Joe, you would be hard pressed to top his comment “We are SO screwed!”

Did you get an opportunity to explain the concept of the Volt that Dave Letterman ripped into. I like Dave and I like the Volt but I think his rant about the Volt was based on a lack of understanding of the reason for a 40 mile all electric range followed by assistance from the internal combustion engine.
I hope you will be able to link a stream after the fact. I don’t have cable, and can’t receive over the air. Actually I don’t know what channel Letterman is on in any case.
