Is any question more central to averting climate catastophe than “the challenges and the opportunities of working with China in the context of our broader climate and clean-energy policy”?

On Wednesday, 10:30 to 11:30 EST, the Center for American Progress will be hearing from Todd Stern, U.S. Special Envoy for Climate Change on that very subject.  He will be introduced by John Podesta, President and and CEO of CAP.

This event is, not surprisingly, full but you can view the live webstream here.

  1. Thanks Joe for making all this possible. That is great to have access directly. Thanks.

Climate negotiator is really a misnomer… We really do not, cannot negotiate with climate. He really is more like a policy negotiator on climate issues. Which again is misnamed because climate laws are so non-negotiable that little or nothing can be done until most all the world is in agreement.

I would prefer him to be a climate educator, because everyone needs to know the consequences of anything less than unified action.
