The fireworks should fly for this one. It looks to be Sunday on CNN at 1 and 5 ET (click here for Info). People should post a video when and if it goes up Sunday afternoon. I’ll be winging it to Copenhagen then.

the issue of how oil prices affect the timeframe of fuel switching didn’t come up. lomborg did however get as close as he dared to accusing sachs, the world’s most prominent sustainable development economist, of prioritizing climate over “other global issues.”
As always, these debates in the mass media are biased. Over 90% of Americans support a price on carbon, yet CNN gives both “sides” an equal voice in the debate. It’s not quite as bad as their “debate” between Christie and Schmidt a couple weeks ago, but the problem is the same. I would have loved to see Christie debate 30 people at once and only get 1/30th the talking time….but that would have been representative of the scientific body.

I could be paddling a rowboat down Market Street in San Francisco after the poles have melted, and there will still be conservative fanatics who deny that humans are responsible for Global Warming or that it is even real. I invite you to my web-pages devoted to raising awareness on this urgent issue: http://pltcldscsn.blogspot.com/2009/12/conservatives-still-deny-global-warming.html
