Obama Admin Sets Date For Gulf Drilling Sale | The Obama administration has decided “to resume oil and natural gas lease sales in the Gulf of Mexico for the first time since the BP oil spill 16 months ago.” The sale is planned to be held in December, when a decision is also expected on the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline.
