After winning the architecture contest, the University of Maryland team has vaulted into the lead of the Solar Decathlon at the National Mall. The competition concludes on Saturday, with the houses open to the public through Sunday. “WaterShed achieves an elegant mix of inspiration, function, and simplicity.
