If You’re In Your 30s, The Clean Air Act Might Be Why You’re Alive | New research confirms the finding that Clean Air Act protections put in place in 1970 saved the lives of hundreds of thousands of American children. Researchers Nicholas J. Sanders and Charles F. Stoecker find that “the pollution reductions from the [Clean Air Act amendments] prevented approximately 21,000-134,000 fetal deaths in 1972.”
