Durban video: Those living on ‘paradise’ islands know climate change isn’t ‘concocted’

Grenada environment minister and Alliance of Small Island States chair Karl Hood said Thursday at the COP17 climate talks in Durban, South Africa, that although the small island states of the world may be “paradise when you come to visit,” for the citizens who live there, the “real effects” of climate change are a “living reality,” citing increasingly destructive impacts that have already occurred.
