UPDATE IV: This morning, Fox and Friends wondered, without proof, whether Powell’s endorsement of Obama was retribution for not being chosen as McCain’s VP: “And do we know whether in fact he had been vetted by the McCain campaign for vice president at some point? Do we know whether they ever had a discussion with Sen.
