Second Quarter GDP Expanded Only 1.3 Percent | Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth was just 1.3 percent in the second quarter of this year, coming in below expectations, according to the latest data from the Commerce Department. First quarter GDP, which had been announced at 1.9 percent, was revised downward to just 0.4 percent.
