Report: Child Poverty Jumped 10 Percent Between 2008 And 2009, The Largest Jump In History | A new report from the Children’s Defense Fund finds that child poverty jumped 10 percent between 2008 and 2009. This was “the single largest annual jump in the data’s history.”
