According to the latest data from the American Farm Bureau Federation, a Thanksgiving meal complete with turkey will cost 13 percent more in 2011 than it did in 2010. The organization estimates that “a classic meal for 10 will cost $49.20 on average. That is $5.73 more than last year’s $43.47 average.” The meal still costs less than $5 per person, but the 13 percent increase was the largest increase in 20 years.
