"Economy Grew At 2 Percent Rate Last Quarter"

According to the latest data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis, the economy grew at a rate of 2 percent in the third quarter, slightly beating economists’ estimate of 1.7 percent. The BEA said that GDP growth “primarily reflected positive contributions from personal consumption expenditures (PCE), federal government spending, and residential fixed investment.”
