I am totally amazed that anyone elected these Congressmen & Women including Senators. They have no guts, if they can't stand up and be counted, I know this will be their last term in office. Our american troops are being killed, and for what. For the Continual lies of George Bush, who can believe anything he says. I believe that the american people need to recall each and every one of these idiots. And we the american need write the article of impeachment in each and every state for Bush & Cheney.

I am 63 years of age, and I have lived through 10 Presidential elections as an adult, and I must state here that I see absolutely no hope of ever getting our country back and our government back. The Bush administration, with the help of 911 and with the help of the Democratic Party, either by voting with him on some of his more nastier Bills like the Patriot Act and the Military Commissions Act or not doing anything to stop other Bills and acts by the Bush administration that have hurt the American people, has accomplished virtually every goal and every agenda that his party, controlled by the neo-cons, has planned from the very beginning, from even before the 2000 Presidential election. The goal that the Bush administration wanted to most achieve and has succeeded in achieving was the permeation and the saturation of the federal judicial, the most important and most powerful branch of our government, the Judiciary Branch. But, his most shining achieving, if one wants to call it that, is the complete takeover of the U.S. Supreme Court itself, the court of final resort, the last word as to what is legal or not legal, or what is constitutional or unconstitutional. By this achievement, he has cemented in place for at least the next 40 years all of his dirty work. I am truly sorry for this country. The trap has has shut behind us, and we are now in the process of becoming a dictatorship.

Both my wife and I have been against the war in Iraq since before the Bush Administration started fabricating evidence and falsifying reports that caused many of you to fall hook, line, and sinker. Bush/Cheney and the rest have not got the slightest knowledge of the workings of the Middle East, its politics, its people, its politics, its people, and its peoples, and its people’s religions. You want this letter of approval and at the same time you haven’t got the balls to stop this war. You have the power to end it but you refuse to use it. We are in favor of stopping the escalation. What we don’t under stand is why you refuse to act and stop this insane war and the mad men behind this travesty.

I was the soul democratic greeter during the election for Joe Sestak at his home ward. I stood there with holes in my jeans and I had my sign saying" I am a vietnam era veteran and i know what it feels like to be in a war we should have never been in." I spoke to voters as they entered the polls saying Vote democrat for a change in direction of the war. It was a long day.

Joe came up to me and thanked me that day. Also, standing next to me were 5 towering males in black suits trying to be intimidating to the voters and the voters shook their hands but when they walked by me they would blink their eyes letting me know they voted for Joe.

I am proud to have helped Joe Sestak get elected. He makes me proud to have served in the USMC and proud to have helped him get elected.

This week's irrational rationale: The US invades, conquers, occupies, and practically bull-dozes an entire country and the wonks say that the blame rests on the Iraqis for not taking a more decisive role. WAKE UP. They do not want us there, and they've said so. So this appears to be the latest in a long line of excuses to support the establishment of permanent military bases to control Iraqi reources and ultimately impact the OPEC cartel decision-making process.

Im really surprised that Virginia Brown Waite was more opposed to sending more troops. Quite frankly this rep doesnt listen to the people and always defends the president in his actions. Im quite surprised however, she is going with the majority. I dont think she has the backbone to stand up for anything that is right on her own. She just goes with the majority. So all I can say is its about time Virginia Brown Waite. More power to those reps who are seeing that its NOT a good idea. Impeachment is certainly in order.

As I expected, split down party lines with one wonderful exception. Heather Wilson of New Mexico. I admit I'm no fan of the Republican Party, but I believe congratulations on a well done, well thought out job are in order. Thank you Ms. Wilson. We can't win a war we're "not right" in. Mine was Vietnam, and the same thing happened there. I firmly believe that if your purpose is unsound, then the war is lost from that moment. Again, thank you for your opposition and for having the courage to disagree with your party out in the open!
