Louisiana: Federal Funds More Important Than Banning All Abortions | The Louisiana House dealt a “fatal blow” to a measure that sought to ban all abortion in the state and establish a judicial challenge to Roe v. Wade. The legislature sent the bill back to committee “amid concerns the measure could cost the state $4.5 billion in federal health care funds.”
