DC Residents See HIV/AIDS As City’s Most Urgent Health Problem | A recent survey shows that residents of Washington, DC view HIV/AIDS as the District’s most urgent health problem. This finding differs from most other locations, which see cancer and obesity as greater threats. The District has one of the highest rates of HIV/AIDS in the nation, with 3 percent of the total population infected. -Jen Kalaidis
